This place use to be... a 5 Star place to eat! Food & Service at the opening was at the top... Somehow along the way it's unfortunately not the same. We were sat in a timely manner, with drinks that followed.. child had a drink , wife had ordered twice an adult beverage with the server returning both times " we don't have that today".... OMG! Two different alcohol drinks and don't have ingredients to mix? HMMMMMM! I just had ice water today! We ordered a Mac n cheese, a Sicilian pizza and a half Thai chicken salad. Oh! Starter! Artichoke spinach dip... It really is hit or miss here. I go for lunch on weekdays and everything is good. Got take out on Thursday night and really disappointing. Ordered mushroom pizza, the works pizza, chopped salad and garlic fettuccine with shrimp which totaled $93.00. The salad had rubbish pieces of lettuce, you know the core part which you throw out, hardly any salami or cheese. It was very sloppily made and the lettuce wasn't fresh. The fettuccine had no taste so we had to put garlic salt on it. The portion has also gotten noticeably smaller for $26.00. The pizzas were just ok. All in all it was a disappointing meal and my family and I reminisced about larger portions, cheaper prices and better quality. Dunno if we will go back, but we probably will in a few months. I do like California Pizza Kitchen because I like their food. We met friends at the CPK at Mililani Town Center on a Friday for lunch. Me and my GF ordered the Thai crunchy salad with a mushroom pizza and I also ordered the Ban Mi that comes with a wonderful side of salad. The Thai crunchy salad seemed to have changes a bit, using crispy wonton chips instead of crispy long rice, but was delicious just the same. The mushroom pizza was delicious as usual, my GF's favorite. I loved my Ban Mi. It came with sliced jalapeños inside so it was spicy hot but good. The bread was good but not a Ban Mi loaf. The side of salad was surprisingly good with generous amounts of shaves Parmesan cheese. We had a wonderful meal and will continue to dine here. read more

I'd give this place a 3 1/2 stars. The plus side was that we were seated quickly and service was great. The downside I'd say was the pizza. Seemed a little overcooked and too crispy. See reference photos. I also prefer a little more cheese but maybe it was because it was cooked a little longer than expected. The shrimp appetizer was delicious! Even my oldest tried it and really enjoyed it. My youngest absolutely enjoyed the complimentary bread that comes before the meal. Our server graciously brought her more. Overall, not horrible. Food took 45 minutes to come out and when it did come my pizza was cold. We also had to wait forever for our half salad. Most likely it was just sitting on the counter. The service was horrible, we were never checked on and drinks sat empty. Bad service tends to be a trend at CPK which is unfortunate because I really do enjoy their food. Used to come weekly but that has since changed since they skimp out on the amount of pasta given especially to take out orders and they keep giving less and less chicken for the chicken piccata. It used to be 3 and now it's 2, soon it'll be 1 lol. It's not worth the price and they never give enough sauce for the other pastas specifically the garlic cream fettuccini-- which used to be fine before when they didn't charge for extra sauce. But now that they do, it's not worth it. We've since gone to the other pastas restaurant nearby (assagios) and omg what a night and day difference. I'm all about CPK! It's a comfortable place with a good vibe. The staff is always attentive and polite. The dining areas are always clean and comfortable. I've also been seated in the outdoor area and it to is always clean and comfortable. The outdoor area is covered in case it rains. The bar has a great selection of beers and drinks. They also have a happy hour 3-6 on the weekdays. The menu offers a tremendous selection of great tasting pizzas, pastas, burgers, salads and appetizers. I really enjoy coming to Mililani CPK and actually probably come here too much. LOL I only have one complaint... please replace the TVs overhanging the bar. Two of them definitely have issues.. Located in Mililani Shopping Center next to Longs Drugs, has a nice open floor plan and plenty of outdoor seating. Lose a star at host stand because when hubby and I walked in, he was on the phone and turned away from us instead of smiling and saying just a moment or acknowledging us in any way. Luckily a young lady came up (also a server) and cheerfully sat us and granddaughter by the kitchen, which she loved as she could see all the action, especially the pizza connoisseur. Server gave her a keiki menu with crayons and came back to take our order. It was still happy hour (3-6 pm) so hubby got a draft beer at the PAU Hana price. Hubby ordered the braised beef rib ragu and loved it! I tried and meat was tender with perfect amount of pasta and sauce. He would order it again and I will to! I tried the newer steak salad and it was a disappointment. Not a lot of steak in it -five tiny pieces- and too much dressing. Also a small edamame was in it but only one so not sure if it was a mistake or supposed to have? The price was $19.99 for a half serving. CPK still starts you off with the free delicious bread and vinegar/oil which we love! Our server was very good- she made sure we had what we needed, checking back on another beer for hubby, and clearing plates, pouring water, asking if we'd like dessert. Fun for kids to watch pizza being prepped- tossing of dough, sprinkling on cheese, etc then using the giant spatula to shove into oven, remove, and sliding into the box. Talent! We went to CPK last night for Father's Day's. Food was good. I had a special. Basically it was a hamburger salad. No bun hamburger patty, lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese. Once the pandemic arrived I stopped attending monthly Stampin Up classes. Yesterday was a good chance to meet my demonstrator who asked to have lunch. We both arrived before the 11 am CPK opening hour so we had time to exchange goodie bags. A young handsome guy escorted us to our indoor table. Our table server was sweet, bubbly, efficient and super cute. Found out my guest is like me in that she leaves the bread and eats the sandwich fillings. I really liked the new salad which really is like the Thai crunch but without the edamame. The honey miso dressing was good, something has a little kick to it. The dumplings were indeed crispy but fried a bit long so was darker in color rather hard and brittle so I just ate the filling. The restaurant wasn't packed during a Wednesday midweek early lunch which was great. Not loud so you could hear each other and enjoy catching up for an hour and a half. My unsweetened ice tea came with a lemon wedge and I added two skinny pink packets of sugar substitute. Two years ago we met here. My friend says let's not wait 2 years to catch up again. Husbabe and I decided last minute to come here since we were at Mililani Town Ctr. It wasnt crowded we may have just missed the dinner crowd as it was a little closer to 8pm. We were seated immediately so that was nice, especially with a toddler. Right away we ordered our babies food first with our appetizers since I wanted to make sure her food comes out quick. We ordered off the kids menu for her, the mushroom sausage pizza and got some avocado rolls for apps. Our waiter was nice, but seemed to have been running 5 tables alone, he might've been new I believe, but he was doing okay (sorry I forgot his name). My hasband got their new smoked salmon (i think thats what it was called) on a bed of broccoli-the salmon was very dry and the sauce was very watery that came with it. I got the shrimp and mushroom- linguini finny- that is my favorite when we do eat here. no complaints on this... Lets fast forward to all of us eating and I notice, the baby is enjoying her pizza, but when she gets to the sausage she starts coughing and sticking her tongue out. We of course check to see if there is anything wrong and couldnt figure it out. As I proceeded to watch her take the next bite and she does it again, she spits out the sausage, I take a look at the sausage and see like a chili pepper flake. At this point im a little confused bc i told my husband it cant be, lol... Low and behold, I tasted the sausage and it was spicy. I re read the menu before I called our waiter over and nothing on the menu stated that the sausage for the kids menu was going to be spicy. I than call the waiter over and ask what kind of sausage and if their sausage is spicy for the KIDS menu. He was like "ohhh yes, sorry I didnt mention it, it was my fault" I didnt know what to say because he CLEARY knew we were ordering that for our toddler. I just suggested that maybe next time they advised customers about the sausage being spicy for kids. First time ordering takeout from here. Had to sign up for DoorDash to pickup that added a layer of complexity because the process was unnecessarily cumbersome to checkout. Service I received was subpar. When I arrived, waited 4 minutes before someone came to front counter but he was assisting someone else with a large order. Then another employee asked that employee for change at the register while a third employee was organizing takeout food from kitchen and ignoring me so the employee at the register had to ask her to help with the line of customers. She seemed aloof and unfriendly. She also had a hard time finding my order. She also did not offer any condiments so I had to ask for them. Even on the receipt, my handwritten name was spelled incorrectly. The first employee(tall guy) helping the customer with their large order seemed friendly and very thorough with the first customer. I wish I got that employee instead. Pizza tasted pretty good though. A friend who is a regular there told me to order the California Vegetarian and add Pepperoni toppings which seems pretty odd but tasted great! Whenever I feel like I get great customer service, I feel the need to update my review. Eating out can be a challenge for me since I have some unique food allergies. My friend and I came to CPK for dinner. The staff takes such great care of us. Upon sharing my food allergies, the kitchen staff ensured that my meal was prepared properly. We had to wait a little bit because they had to remake my meal to ensure that I was able to eat the food I ordered. The manager came and checked in with me multiple times. I truly appreciated the care that the management, kitchen staff, and our server put in to ensure that we had a great experience. The food tasted delicious and was worth the wait. Didn't think to check my order and when I opened up the containers to eat--I discovered that I received a kids pasta with a dash of meat sauce and steamed broccolini. I was annoyed but took my first bites of the pasta and broccolini only left to be further disappointed. I added butter and seasoning to my broccolini to make it tase edible but wasn't able to do anything to my bland pasta. After reading some of the reviews, it looks like this location has an issue with not putting enough sauce on their pasta dishes. TIP: SKIP THIS PLACE. Go to Pearlridge for your CPK fix. read more

The TVs in the bar area is unacceptable. One TV could trigger a person that has seizures due to the constant blurring of the picture and flashing and the other TV half of the picture is blacken. With College football playoffs, NFL games and NBA games it's very difficult to watch at the bar. Food great entertainment in the dumpster. read more

Went to lunch with our friends here on a Sunday. We were a big group, so waiting was inevitable. This is my first time eating at CPK, I think we've only done take out the other times we had their food. We sat outside, and different tables. We sat on a half booth, and for whatever reason, the chair is sticky. I don't even wanna talk about it in a lot of details, but the point was it was sticky, and so was the table. We were given menus, we ordered pupus first, and it arrived at 12:37pm. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip. The dip was delicious, however the chips they gave us were small pieces, only few big ones, and to add salt to the wound, they were STALE. Ugh. I'm not the type to complain right there and then, I'd do it after on my reviews lol because I hear a lot of stories about people who complain about their food and the restaurant does something bad to the replacement food. For our entree, we ordered the Wild Mushroom pizza and my husband added pepperoni to it, and for myself, I got the kung pao spaghetti and added chicken. I read a lot of good reviews about the kung pao spaghetti which is why I got it, while it was delicious, it was average delicious. It was sweet, and spicy. I did like the peanuts as it added texture to the dish. And for dessert, we got the butter cake with vanilla ice cream! This is the only thing I loved! And would order again. It was huge! It's buttery, warm and soft. Definitely a 10/10! While this place is convenient, plenty places to park at, it's not really special. If you're looking for something similar to the kung pao spaghetti, the Charlie Chan pasta from Yellow Cab, is a must try! read more

I'm in Hawaii and yet was drawn into CPK for dinner with family... Some things just sound so good and for me it's the Jambalaya! We were seated pretty fast considering it was a Saturday night and hostess as well as our server were exceptionally nice. Our order was taken within the first five minutes of being seated and that is due to all of us knowing exactly what we like! Individual pizzas were ordered by all with the exception of me. Such a big selection, but my family knows their go-to doesn't disappoint. We had the following pizzas: Pepperoni, Sicilian, Hawaiian, CA Club, and the Spicy Chipotle Chicken (all hand-tossed) all laid out before us along with my plate of Jambalaya (extra spicy of course!).
