The company I work for (office in Roseville) loves this place. Specifically THIS location. They just have the freshest sandwiches and the absolute BEST chocolate chip cookies. Every time we order from this location, we are all so pleased. My friend and I went there yesterday 12/4/24 and we ordered their flat bread. which cost a good $14. Understanding that it is a flat bread means flattened dough etc. but this flat bread not only was sooo thin but it is also only the size of one large pizza slice for the price of $14.I feel like this is a rip off to charge that much for this item and the price needs to be lowered. Can't help but love the sourdough anyway here. If I'm devouring the sandwich, dipping in the clam chowder or just straight up eating it. The chowder and sourdough are a must together. The garlic pesto Turkey on sourdough is tasty. Sometimes I get it with everything or I started getting it with no spread and no mustard. It gives it super flavor from the pest and Turkey without the spread and if you like it wet getting it with everything makes it great to. This location has plenty of parking around. The employees were nice and the store was covid-19 setup and clean. They also have alot more sandwiches on hand, and offer the chowder daily with upto 2 other rotating soups. Came here for lunch today literally 20 mins ago. Order a sandwich and I added pepperoncini for .25 cent but when I got back to the office I noticed they did not add it in my sandwich nor red onion. My sister took my mom and I to lunch here for our birthdays (#77, #52) and we were so pleased with the great food and excellent service. My mom & I split a sandwich and salad (a weight watchers skill we learned) and they kindly put our meals on separate plates so we each got our own delicious au jus for the french dip sandwiches and my salad portion seemed larger than a mere half salad- i couldn't even finish it all, the portions were so generous. Before we left the owner or manager gave each of us a free fresh baked huge chocolate chip cookie to-go! It was totally unexpected and a very generous - and delicious- birthday surprise. Great Service and Great Food. I had a last minute dash to grab lunch for a work group. Not a large group but more than two or three. I called right at 10am and to my joy and surprise they were able to get my same day sandwich platter ordered and ready before 11:30am. first off- the most safest covid practices i've seen since all this started. I witnessed who I believe is the manager or owner have the incoming employees wait before coming back to the work area. When she was ready she asked her to come on back and head straight to wash her hands. I saw the employees take off their gloves to come out into the seating area to clean, Rewash their hands and then put new gloves on. I was surprised and impressed to see such diligence and care. masks were worn at all times and they cleaned after every table left. THEN the service was AMAZING! The employees were friendly and welcoming. A woman who I believe was the manager and or owner made such a big impression on us. She engaged and was super nice! She made my daughters day by making her feel special. She gave us our daughters food right away! Which we usually have to ask most places. Then our food was brought to our table. AND it was sooo delicious! Honestly some of the best clam chowder i've ever had. And we just had a very expensive chowder loaf in San Francisco yesterday at King Crab that was not nearly as good. The bread was so soft but the outer was nice and toasty. My husband had the french dip and said it was amazing! I'm so pleased with our entire experience and i wish we had one back in our area! The prices were great! The restaurant was very clean, nice and cool, well lit, very organized, plenty of parking! I did not use the restrooms. We were in the area shopping and found ourselves working up an appetite. This Sourdough & Co. is located somewhat near the "Howe bout Arden" area. I have been to these franchises before, and the food never fails in flavor and satisfaction. I love that they offer a large selection of choices on the menu that would satisfy most tastes and appetites. I ordered a meal deal that included a sandwich, a side choice and drink. I got a 4" Garlic Pesto Turkey with all the fixings and broccoli & cheese soup of the day, while my BF got a large Cobb salad with chicken. The soda dispenser has so many flavors to choose from! I chose a root beer and Joe got a diet ginger ale. Our food was fresh and tasty! We also purchased a Sour Dough Baguette to take home and bake for later consumption. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere, relaxed and casual as we enjoyed our meals. When we are back in the area, returning here won't be a hard decision to make at all! read more

This is my new favorite sandwich spot. The Hot Turkey/Pastrami is so delicious. The bread is perfect! It has a crunch on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I've also had their Pastrami Sandwich. It was also very good. Their clam chowder is made just right and is very tasty. I've had their Cobb Salad and it was good too. This one is probably the best location, the sandwich's at sour dough and co are always good but the lady working today made it extra nice, I had just left the hospital where my 2 year old had her leg cast removed for the first time after wearing it for the last month (she broke it jumping on a trampoline )and so we went to lunch to celebrate and while we were ordering my daughter seen the cookies on display and then the lady asked if she could give her one. My son and I ate lunch here last week and both got the roast beef sandwich. He got his hot and I got mine cold. The cold was definitely better. The roast beef was very good quality and the roll was awesome. The only thing holding me back from giving them 5 stars is the portion size of meat. Neither of us get any cheese or vegetables in our sandwiches. They put 3 oz of meat in your sandwich and when you order extra they add another ounce. This might be enough if you get the whole salad thing on it, but it's a little light if you are a meat and mayonnaise kind of person. The service was good - we went to the one on Howe.
