The garlic pesto Turkey on sourdough is tasty. Sometimes I get it with everything or I started getting it with no spread and no mustard. It gives it super flavor from the pest and Turkey without the spread and if you like it wet getting it with everything makes it great to. This location has plenty of parking around. The employees were nice and the store was covid-19 setup and clean. They also have alot more sandwiches on hand, and offer the chowder daily with upto 2 other rotating soups. My sister took my mom and I to lunch here for our birthdays (#77, #52) and we were so pleased with the great food and excellent service. Great Service and Great Food. I had a last minute dash to grab lunch for a work group. Not a large group but more than two or three. I called right at 10am and to my joy and surprise they were able to get my same day sandwich platter ordered and ready before 11:30am. first off- the most safest covid practices i've seen since all this started. I witnessed who I believe is the manager or owner have the incoming employees wait before coming back to the work area. When she was ready she asked her to come on back and head straight to wash her hands. I saw the employees take off their gloves to come out into the seating area to clean, Rewash their hands and then put new gloves on. I was surprised and impressed to see such diligence and care. masks were worn at all times and they cleaned after every table left. THEN the service was AMAZING! The employees were friendly and welcoming. A woman who I believe was the manager and or owner made such a big impression on us. She engaged and was super nice! She made my daughters day by making her feel special. She gave us our daughters food right away! Which we usually have to ask most places. Then our food was brought to our table. AND it was sooo delicious! Honestly some of the best clam chowder i've ever had. And we just had a very expensive chowder loaf in San Francisco yesterday at King Crab that was not nearly as good. The bread was so soft but the outer was nice and toasty. My husband had the french dip and said it was amazing! I'm so pleased with our entire experience and i wish we had one back in our area! The prices were great! The restaurant was very clean, nice and cool, well lit, very organized, plenty of parking! I did not use the restrooms. We were in the area shopping and found ourselves working up an appetite. This Sourdough & Co. is located somewhat near the "Howe bout Arden" area. I have been to these franchises before, and the food never fails in flavor and satisfaction. I love that they offer a large selection of choices on the menu that would satisfy most tastes and appetites. I ordered a meal deal that included a sandwich, a side choice and drink. I got a 4" Garlic Pesto Turkey with all the fixings and broccoli & cheese soup of the day, while my BF got a large Cobb salad with chicken. The soda dispenser has so many flavors to choose from! I chose a root beer and Joe got a diet ginger ale. Our food was fresh and tasty! We also purchased a Sour Dough Baguette to take home and bake for later consumption. This one is probably the best location, the sandwich's at sour dough and co are always good but the lady working today made it extra nice, I had just left the hospital where my 2 year old had her leg cast removed for the first time after wearing it for the last month (she broke it jumping on a trampoline )and so we went to lunch to celebrate and while we were ordering my daughter seen the cookies on display and then the lady asked if she could give her one. My son and I ate lunch here last week and both got the roast beef sandwich. He got his hot and I got mine cold. The cold was definitely better. The roast beef was very good quality and the roll was awesome. The only thing holding me back from giving them 5 stars is the portion size of meat. Neither of us get any cheese or vegetables in our sandwiches. They put 3 oz of meat in your sandwich and when you order extra they add another ounce. Looking for lunch one day while doing some work around my office, I decided to get Sourdough & Co. Their menu is simple: deli sandwiches served in 4", 6", or 8" sizes on a crunchy sourdough roll. They have two gourmet salads on their menu and rotating soups of the day. I opted for the 4" Turkey and Dry Salami ($5.75) with everything on it - this entails their special spread (aka Mayo), lettuce, tomato, onion, choice of mustard and choice of cheese. The sandwich was good - and felt much bigger than 4". I also decided to try a side salad of their gourmet Italian salad ($5.75). This came with Salami, mozzarella, peppers, artichoke hearts, and olives. The salad was good and had tons of toppings. My only qualm - and I'll forgive them because this place seems new - was that they completely forgot my side salad. I waited and waited ... ate my sandwich and waited some more. Finally, I went to ask about my salad's whereabouts. They had overlooked it - apologized and made it right away.
