I knew what I was going to order before I got here because I absolutely LOVE CPK's Cauliflower crust pizzas. I've been back to this place three times in three months and now I realize it's how they serve it, not one night of running out of chicken. Vegetables, crunchy bits, ample dressing - again high carbs, but with a little protein. My friends usually order the plank salmon. Our server Gabriela was amazing! I loved her upbeat and friendly attitude, and her efficiency with every request. The server can make or break a dining experience and she definitely made our evening! We've had their pizzas many times in the past, so today we decided to try two new entrees. We got the full sized steakhouse salad with pieces of filet mignon and crispy hash brown style potatoes on a bed of veggies. We ordered the Gorgonzola on the side bc my husband doesn't like it, but I enjoyed eating double portions of cheese! I enjoyed the flavor of the dressing, although I probably should have remembered to order it on the side to save some calories as it was very well dressed. We also tried the chicken tequila fettuccine which came out hot and tasted great. You can definitely taste the tequila flavor in the sauce. It has been a few years since we have been to CPK. We decided to give them a chance and came on a Friday around 4:30. We sat at the bar and enjoyed their Happy Hour menu. We were helped by the bartender Vanessa who was very friendly. We ordered the $9 happy hour draft beer and perso nal pizza (bbq chicken, pepperoni or cheese options) and dumplings. I read many of the reviews and I can see that this location excels in pizza and Happy Hour bites. Salad needs rework. There were 5 small cubes of mystery meat not filet mignon the menu purports. Greens were not crisp and ugly chunks that what one might call stale potato wedges which did not complement the salad at all. A weak new item that calls for fixing or removing off the menu ($22.95). The lunch duo selection was not explained but may be a value if you're looking for one. I doctored my salad to make it palatable when I got home. Please do better. Can't go wrong with a classic CPK pizza. I got their signature Barbecue Chicken Pizza, and a mango iced tea. I opted for the cauliflower crust to test it out. Sooo good. The crusted was nice and thin but folded to perfection when taking a bite. The sauce is sweet and tangy and the chicken and onions weren't over done, but delish. Several people walked by my table and commented how good my pizza and salad looked! I loved getting lunch here before heading out to nearby shopping, it's a great mid-week spot. This was, without question, the worst restaurant service I've experienced in years. From the moment my family of four walked in, we felt unwelcome. While we were waiting to be seated, our server loudly complained to the hostess about being assigned our table, saying, "You are giving me them? Seriously? Triple sat?" She then added, "Just seat them at the table, but they need to know I will get to them when I get to them." We were the only party waiting and heard every word. We then waited about 15 minutes just to be greeted. Once our order was finally taken, the entire meal felt rushed, yet we received very little actual service. Bread arrived without the butter we requested, our drinks were never refilled despite our server walking by numerous times, and every interaction made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. The low point came near the end of the meal when she brought a stack of dirty dishes from another table and placed them directly on our dining table before stacking our dirty plates on top. I've never seen a server use one guest's table as a staging area for another table's dirty dishes. When it came time to pay, things got even worse. As I selected the tip on the payment tablet, she stood over my shoulder watching. When I chose a lower tip because of the poor service, she actually asked, "Is that really how much you are trying to select?" I've never had a server question my gratuity while I was paying. Immediately afterward, she forcefully grabbed the payment tablet out of my hands without asking. When I asked for her name so I could contact Corporate, she told me her name was "Emily." After speaking with the manager, I learned her actual name was Rehanna. She had given me a false name after I said I intended to report the experience. To the manager's credit, he apologized and offered gift cards, which I declined. Some experiences simply can't be made right with a coupon. This is my usual spot between work meetings in the area. I was a guest yesterday at the Tustin location & I was sitting at my usual booth by the window. A manager came to the table and was going to give me an appetizer, but he had made a mistake. The manager turned around and a server, blonde, nose ring, had snatched the appetizer in front me and told the manager that it belonged to her and her table yelling rudely. I watched her snatch the plate from the managers hands, touch the food, and give both of us a dirty look. (As if I had anything to do with the mistake) As a manager of my own team in the corporate building next door I couldn't believe how rude and disrespectful this server was in front my myself & her coworker who I assumed was her superior. The last few months coming to this restaurant I've watched the service team go downhill but I still tip accordingly. THIS was extremely disappointing to watch, and no one should be treated like that especially in front of guests. CPK please hire better service staff, I've stopped bringing my clients to this establishment temporarily and now I have another reason to stop indefinitely. read more

The ambiance inside is nice. The employees are friendly but the restaurant is severely understaffed. I can tell that the servers are trying their best to serve everyone in a timely manner. However on my most recent visit, it took 30 minutes to get our starter appetizer. On other visits, it took 15 minutes just to get seated and another 30 minutes to get our food and drinks. I was extremely dissapointed with the bolognese that I ordered on my most recent visit. It had almost no meat in it. It was basically marinara sauce with 3 bites of meat.
