Food was delicious and fresh but unfortunately there was an error on our takeout order (which we didn't notice until getting back home) and we received pinto beans instead of black beans on two of orders.

Let me just say this has nothing to do with the food this has to do with employees I usually go to Wahoo's after the lunch rush usually after 2:00 then I like to go in there and it's not so crowded and it's just nicer but it seems like the employees here use the slow Time after the lunch rush to not do much I walked in stood in front of the counter and couldn't believe what a ghost town it was there was nobody in the kitchen whatsoever there was nobody of course at the counter so I just stood there quietly to see how long it would take for them to acknowledge I'm standing there and it took long enough where I was pretty shocked and when the girl finally came out from the back I asked what was going on I got really no answer she just proceeded to talk fast and that's what I wanted of course with attitude at that point like I did something wrong so I sat down the food showed up I enjoyed my lunch like I said this is nothing to do with the food the food's always great it's the employees but I wonder if she ever thought what if I was a Wahoo's executive or the franchise owner or whatever do you think if they got the same experience she wouldn't be giving this girl a talking to and the man who was supposed to be in the kitchen makes you think it sucks because I usually have very good experiences when I come eat at Wahoos of course I'm remaining a loyal customer I just wish the employees would see things the way they should seeing they got their 20 dollars a hour.

My correct order faster than I could finish a great local beer!

This Wahoo's has some of the best costumer service! The staff is amazing, friendly and quick with togo orders! They double check each order, to make sure it's correct! The restaurant is always clean. Overall they provide quality service, clean restaurant and quality wahoos food! They make Tustin proud, and keep us coming to wahoos! Doesn't hurt they have a nice little bar with 2 TVs live time games or quality surf videos!

    Mango Margarita!

I've always liked Wahoo's. Let me rephrase... I've always liked Wahoo's of Old Towne Orange. Love the ambiance, outdoor seating, the patio fireplace, the live band on the weekends.... My faves... the Margaritas.... the Citrus Slaw Crispy Fish Tacos and Citrus Slaw Shrimp Tacos! Carnitas Tacos are great too! So while walking around beautiful Old Towne Orange... give Wahoo's a visit! Check out my You Tube Short on Wahoo's @socalweekendwalkarounds https://youtube.com/shorts/yvqTmEp9ptk?feature=share

They said we could chill at the bar and use the waitlist for a table (~45 min) and we said sure, that sounds nice, we're not in a rush, and I wanted seafood. There was the option of eating at the bar too, but when I checked OpenTable ~15 min after ordering drinks, it said we were second in line and I didn't want them to have to transfer our order from bar to table so we waited... and waited........ and waited. And waited for almost 2 hrs while multiple tables in the restaurant sat empty basically since the time we sat down at the bar. I didn't ask the hostesses earlier cause I figured maybe they're for a reservation soon but NOPE, never got filled the entire time we waited. Finally when it seemed like the hostesses were becoming bored standing there and the restaurant was emptying out, and I overheard our bartender say the dinner rush is starting soon, I went to go ask if our table was ready. At this point, OT had shown first in line out of 2 total parties for at least 30 min. I kind of expected the hostess to be like, yeah table will be ready in 10 min, sorry for the delay. Instead she looks, and immediately goes, "we're setting it up right now :)", which tells me you guys forgot LOL. We were brought to the back area of the restaurant where legitimately, most of the tables were empty. Why bother with the OpenTable waitlist if you're going to completely disregard it? If you get added to the waitlist, be more proactive than me with inquiring about your table since the waitlist clearly doesn't mean much. Only saving grace was the food was mostly delicious, maybe because I was starving after the 2 hour wait (it was like 3:45pm by this point), and both bartenders were really nice. Spot prawns were amazing, halibut was amazing, bread was good, raw bar pretty fresh (the room temp uni was really weird), clams were good, skip the halibut cheeks, and most important of all, make a reservation.

The fish is cooked just the way Papa Fish wanted it to be cooked. However, times and demographics have changed. This restaurant is not attractive to younger folks for some reason and it is very sad to me. The question is can The Crab Cooker adapt to the changes in society? It's been a while but returning for my third visit with friends. You can smell the aroma of seafood coming from the restaurant about 6 cars away in the general area (e.g., or if you're waiting outside on the bench). Upon entering, you'll find yourself in a "seafood market" aka a display of a variety of raw seafood options and cold precooked soups. There's also a small corner selling some merchandise by the hostess booth. The restaurant is quite big -- seatings are separated by partition front vs back half of the room. Service is decent and nice -- nothing special or standout that I can remember. I am not sure if I'm a fan eating from paper plates and plastic utensils....sort of off, especially trying to "slurp" off a shallow plastic soup made to scoop ice cream not soup. :(( I'm not sure if the prices of the entrées or not, but for a Friday at 6 PM dinner time, the restaurant is only half full. Maybe it's because there's NO FREE bread basket. We had to pay for a sourdough bread basket which was different from most places. I was a bit taken back but rolled with it, no pun (or bun) intended. We ordered scallops skewers and soft shell crab combo which comes with two sides (you chose from 6 different options). The food is delicious so don't get me wrong, but while I was seating I couldn't get over how pricey the entrees are for an average amount of food. Granted I'm not a gluttony but do want my side portions be a bit larger. :)))
