The workers are kind and I even asked if I could get a bag so that I could give my pizza bunnies to my younger brother. My brother absolutely loves the taste of the pizza bunnies I offered him. We typically order from Bari at least twice a month if not more. It's really our go to for gatherings, pasta nights, and have referred to so many friends. We placed a catering order for a birthday celebration. One dish, pasta primavera, is described as "angel hair, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, zucchini, basil, olive oil, garlic. This dish we have ordered many many times, specifically because we have people with tomato acidity concerns. This dish came doused in marinara sauce. When we called Bari, they claimed it's because we ordered a side of meatballs. The meatball was a side dish! Why would you change our entire order for a side dish? What if my order was fettuccine Alfredo with a side of meatballs?! Also maybe call us to explain? Bari offered a $25 store credit. Would you order again if a restaurant handles your food order as such, never acknowledging the error? So no I don't want a store credit. We asked for a credit card chargeback, they denied it. We asked for the credit in cash, denied. Basically said too bad take it or leave it. Look. The dish was made wrong. I'm not even requesting a full refund on a $150 order. We accepted a tiny $25 for a totally wrong dish. You can't just pull $25 out of your pocket to fix the error? Oh and they blamed that it was our fault to not deal with it the day of. To my surprise this place is a 10 out of 10 for me. I always see social media hypes so I really wasn't expecting it to be great. They look cool on the outside but no flavor on the inside and it was not what I was expecting. The mozzarella hearts had an odd taste to them and didn't taste like hot Cheetos like the menu said. The skulls are a gimmick. They look cool and taste good, it works! There is a reason why they offer pizza shaped gingerbread men at Christmas time and pizza shaped bunnies at Easter. What I don't understand is how you can target a holiday and then be so completely unprepared for a rush of holiday orders. We came in several months before Halloween to ask about catering for a Halloween wedding. The girl at the register was super nice and said catering would be no problem, confirmed delivery to our event location was within range, and recommended we order prior to the day. Great, no problem. Weeks in advance we ordered 3 trays of pizza skulls for Halloween to be delivered at 5 pm. They were supposed to be delivered in aluminum trays. They arrived at 7pm in cardboard boxes. But at least they arrived, our guests were happy, and it was not the end of the world. My biggest issue is how management handled the issue. We paid extra for the trays, paid extra for the holiday, and confirmed the order the morning of. When my husband called and spoke to the manager afterwards he was unapologetic stating that the delivery "could not be guaranteed" and made it seem like they did us a favor delivering to our location. What kind of business charges extra and then says oh but it's not guaranteed?? If it was out of delivery range why accept the order (weeks in advance) and take our money? I am sure the staff do their best to get the orders out as quickly as possible. I am sure the girl we spoke with originally had good intentions and if she had wrong information on their catering capabilities then that is an issue for management to address. If Halloween is your busiest day of the year then it is up to management to plan for that! Hire temporary staff, have a better plan for how to keep up with demand, do something! Blaming the customer is a poor choice. If you're ordering on a random day, I'm sure you'll probably be fine. But the inconsistencies in service are not worth it in my opinion and sadly I don't think I'll be recommending this place anymore. read more

This family owned pizza place has been around since 2001 and has two locations; one in Santa Ana, and the other in Torrance. The crust and sauce are excellent, and the toppings are super fresh. I placed an order Friday morning for 5 pizzas to be ready upon arrival. When I got there, the staff didn't even know about the order. After asking for my phone number, they finally "found" it. I have been seeing Bari Pasta and Pizza pop up on my instagram feed. With my loves of skulls and pizza I knew I had to make a trip up from San Diego to try them out. My daughter actually surprised me and brought me up on my birthday. She placed an online order on the way up for some garlic cheese knots and the skull shaped pizzas. The dough was buttery and moist and the inside was stuffed with ooey gooey cheese, pepperoni and pesto. They were so flavorful and I must say one of the best pizza items I have had in a long time. The garlic cheese knots were equally as tasty and super flavorful without being overpowered by the garlic flavor. It was Saturday evening and Bari was really busy, the line moved quickly and the phone didn't seem to stop ringing. When we arrived we had a little bit of a wait and the staff was so nice and apologized but there was no need because our order was actually ready right on time. They are amazing. The storefront is a bit small but it is a perfect pizzeria with tons of options tucked in the corner of a strip mall in Santa Ana. Cannot wait to go back and try out some other items!!!
