This place is not worthy they're supposed to have a warranty and one year on their transmissions. Mine broke within six months when I took them back they replace the entire transmission with another one that one and no, they did not start my warranty all over again I already had six months so they gave me six months more with the second transmission under warranty . Now, the Second transmission they put in broke again, six months later . I barely have 1500 miles on it. The problem with the transmission as I found out is they did not put in all the parts. They were supposed to those parts, missing that cause it to wear down faster and contaminate the transmission. Sounds like a a repair game to have you to come back but I did not take it back there. I did not like the comments in the attitude of the owner. He would not work with me in anyway he wanted me to pay full price. This sounds like a hustle not a kind of guy that I would like to work with anymore. I had my 2004 Chevy Corvette C5 serviced at California Transmissions in Ontario for a full rebuild on my transmission back in 2004 of last year. The transmission rebuild was fine and running strong, but a few weeks into it I felt some vibrations near the passenger side floor bored and couldn't figure out what the issue was. I took it to another shop to diagnose the issue, and they said that the drive shaft was loose. So I took it back to Calfornia transmissions a few months ago and told them the issue and one of the associates responded and said they don't work on drive shafts only the transmission. Just recently it fully came loose while I was on the freeway and became non-operable since that incident. All they had to do was tighten it which they did not when I brought the car to there shop. I paid over $3100 for the rebuild and was under warranty for a year, which the incident happened last may off 2025 and the warranty was good until July. My drive shaft broke in the beginning of June and my car hasn't been fixed ever since because now one of the shops told me that the part I needed to repair my vehicle which was the drive shaft had become discontinued. The Vette was my daily driver and relied on it to go to work and get me around. I have been stuck for over a month now without a car, lost my job to do it and have been stuck at home relying on Lyft to get me around which is extremely expensive when used daily to get around. I assume that the issue with the drive shaft had to do with California Transmissions Negligence when doing the transmission rebuild because they were the ones that had to take it out and put it back in place in the process of the rebuilding of my transmission. I would definitely not recommend on having your vehicle fixed at Calfornia Transmissions for the fact that it was there fault on this matter and cost me a whole lot of money and had not fixed the issue when it was under warranty and hasn't been fixed to this day which fu**en sucks and me not getting around to do normal things in life. read more

After changing the transmission and mounts about 2 months ago ($1900, which is fine) we still to this day are fixing all the damages done after replacement. They broke(and did not install back) exhaust shielding and one of the axels. Replacing the axel plus installing to shields is costing $500+ so far. When I sent over the info the owner Israel called me back telling me that the receipt is old and my warranty is no longer valid.
