    Individual (aguachiles, callos, camarones, pulpo)
    Ann V.

First time trying this spot myself. My husband loves it. There is a few options you can choose from. We ordered the "individual" platter it was enough for 2 people that was $30. The staff was friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions. We went right before closing and during the week, so it was not busy at all but I'm sure it gets packed. Check them out if you're in the area 10/10

If you're craving some of the best mariscos in Santa Ana, Callos La Rosca is the spot! This food truck has quickly become one of my go-to places for fresh, flavorful seafood. I recently ordered an Individual with Camarones and Callos, and it was absolutely amazing. The shrimp were perfect, the callos were tender, and the flavors were bold yet balanced. Everything was incredibly fresh, and you can tell they take pride in their food. I've been here a few times now, and every visit has been consistently great. Whether it's your first time or you're a regular, you won't be disappointed. The service is amazing! Hands down the best spot in town for mariscos!

The order: - Battered fish tacos: got 2, they're really big and filling. They give such big hunks of fish and the toppings of cabbage were so crisp and wonderful. The sauce was delightful. Love that I can cover this to my hearts content with whatever is at the salsa bar. I got pickled onions galore and so much green salsa (my fav!). - Gyro taco: I will pass on this. I wanted to try for the deal and see what their Mediterranean food tastes like. I didn't like it in a corn tortilla. I thought the flavors clashed. I ended up just eating the meat to get my moneys worth. - Shrimp ceviche: got it with chips instead of tostada, absolutely the right choice. This was really well prepared. No tomato sauce at all, just the way I prefer. This has LOTS of plump shrimp and it's simply made to allow all the fresh ingredients shine. I def recommend this!! I found my new Tuesday spot

Fresh, flavorful, and such a great spot…read more We came in for lunch and were lucky enough to beat the rush. There are so many things on the menu that looked amazing, so it was hard to decide what to order. We went with the grilled shrimp entrée and the whitefish entrée, and both were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The entrées came with roasted vegetables and a side salad, and we opted for rice as well. Everything was nicely prepared and made for a satisfying meal that still felt light and healthy. My only personal preference would be to go a little lighter on the sauce over the shrimp. It was a bit heavier than I prefer, but the shrimp itself was fantastic. The salsa bar was delicious and had a great variety to choose from. And naturally, I had to add the baklava for something sweet after the meal. It was a lovely way to finish. The service was phenomenal. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which really added to the experience. There's clearly a lot to explore here, and I'm already planning what I'm ordering next. Definitely a new favorite.

Simple lay out and both times pretty full, seems that Lobster dish is the one that keep them coming. The have lunch specials 7 days a week and the 1st time we tried from that menu. Served with a simple soup that was very tasty for visually simple. My wife got a dish with catfish that she really liked. My 2nd visit I went with the Fried noodle dish, he made it with chicken and shrimp and it was amazing. Service is great and they kind of work the floor like a team and keep all the tables happy. Our 1st waiter knew a little Tagalog and playfully attempted to use it. He was really funny. Both times we took food home and had plenty of leftovers. Great little hidden gem that is a bit out of the way but worth the travel. Go check them out.

Turns out, it wasn't nearly as crowded as before - though spoiler: the price has increased a lot (I want to say it was $25/lb 10 years ago, and now is $37/lb). Keep in mind too, you can't get a small amount like 1lb - usually it's gonna be 3+lb so your bill is easily going to hit mid-$100 to $200s from the lobster alone. That being said, many people swear this is the best, and that's why they can charge whatever they want. I'm actually allergic to lobster (lol) but am a team player so I just sampled it for the funsies, and had to get another dish to actually eat (went with the beef lok luk). My family said the lobster noodle was good, but not like, fantastic (which we were expecting not fantastic but yeah, mostly came here to a family meeting.) The beef lok luk was also pretty good like, 4.3 of 5 - we just had another version at Paradise which was astounding (like 4.6) though also more expensive and pretty far away. Overall, not sure if we'll come back again as we're more curious about the copycats that have popped up which might be 80% as good and much more affordable. Stay tuned! :)

The Grand seafood tower is good for 1-2 people, and it was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the selection of seafood, especially the shrimps and scallops! The sides were decent, but I would skip them next time. We got Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. Lastly, I recommend the Bristol Street cocktail for a light, enjoyable drink. We were met by our awesome waiter Mark who introduced himself to us with a big smile, served us and presented the meal of the day and answered questions regarding some of the food in the menu with pride & joy. We were so lucky to have him as our server that night. We looked forward to seeing him again serve as in the future. We all loved the food that we ordered and finished it however on my daughter plate after she ate all her food found a small piece of paper. She mentioned it to one of the server who was taking all our empty plates and in a second the manager was there in front of us. We were all so surprised to see him standing there in an instant- he was cordial, attentive and was apologetic that a piece of paper was found on the plate. Service is definitely 100%. Food is excellent 100% we're all happy .

The quality of each order was the same; eating at the restaurant or ordering to eat at home, there was no difference in portion size or flavor. When eating at the restaurant, our server was friendly and prompt. The food came out relatively fast, and the dining experience was nice; not too loud despite it being busy. The inside also has a nice "seafood boil" ambiance, as the walls are painted in a nicely decorated manner. My one piece of advice would be, as someone who eats spicy foods fairly often, is that if you order "hot", which is the next step up from "medium", understand that it is genuinely hot and spicy.

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss.
