Real delicious Mexican & sea food food. Food is always a hit 10/10 and very good customer service. Beer here is also available and karaoke. Really feel like I'm in Mexico when I'm here haha.. I was a regular here before I moved I give big props as well to the chefs here. They always make everything fresh!

I've got to admit, this has to be one of the freshest seafood places I have EVER tasted in Orange County. It's a must for anyone that is looking for the best tasting and freshest seafood around. Every single time I'm here, the food has never let me down. Highly recommend but come ready to spend with inflation. The plates are full appropriately and the atmosphere is great if you're looking for a good time. Don't hesitate and come try them. Try the 7 mares and you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Doesn't look like much when you past by the Mexican Seafood Restaurant. Right? But little do you know this Restaurant been in my childhood ever since I was 5 years old. I remember the Chips and Salsa were always my favorite when I first sit down. The salsa is beautifully made with a little spice that makes your tongue get on fire but you just simply can't get enough of it. Ever since I started going with my family when I was 5 years old and now... I just recently went yesterday with my Valentines date. And I have to say the mariscos are still A1! They haven't lost their magical taste of the marisco plates/dishes. I tried something new yesterday which was: "Filete Rellenó!" The plate filled me up so fat that I felt like a pregnant women at the end of the day but it was still good! Keep it up, El Nuevo Ensanda!

Stopped by today for some lunch and drinks with my wife. Maria was supper friendly and attentive! She made excellent recommendations. We started off with some oysters and aguachiles- my wife had a mango margarita on the rocks, and I ordered a bucket of pacifico's. For entrees - gordonize ala diabla and camarones con crema and hand-made tortillas! Both were super delicious! Was definitely worth our long drive! Will be back!

Been here many times. I sometimes just come for salsa and chips because I LOVE their salsa. Today we came because on the website they have posted $ 1 taco Tuesday, 2 for $5 tacos al gobernador, $20 beer buckets and karaoke night.. when I walked in they were playing the karaoke and plenty of people with buckets of beer. When I ask about the taco Tuesday or the 2 for $5 shrimp tacos she tells me they told her not today.. wow! They need to post a sign up or update on the web that it's not every Tuesday only when they feel like it. I am disappointed and so were my 6 & 7yo. Reason is because we wanted to TRY the tacos because not everyone makes good tacos and here they're $3.25 per taco. I ended up spending $31 on 3 shrimp tacos a quesadilla and 3 drinks. I have tried their shrimp cocktail and piña colada which is delicious Furthermore I might not be coming back again.

If I could give 1 star I would. I went in and ordered 5 shrimp tacos to go. I asked the lady what was on the tacos she said she didn't know I asked her could she ask the chef she came bk and told me lettuce and tomatoes. Needless to say I get home and open it and its shrimp and hot sauce I ate one and it was so hot I could even eat the rest. $30+ down the drain my kids couldn't even eat them either. Im PISSED!!!

Back when it was open only to go for now

I really miss going here for the tostadas calientes! They are my fave! Now because of quarantine I get them to go and my whole family loves them! Can't wait till they open fully so I can enjoy some cold and

Along with that, our table also ordered: the quail with sticky rice ($20.99), salted fish and shrimp fried rice ($24.99), shaken beef with garlic noodles ($22.99), bok choy with sautéed garlic ($12.99), a hot tea ($4.00), Coca-Cola ($5.50), a mojito ($15.00), and a margarita ($15.00). With tax ($17.71), our ticket was $209.16 before gratuity. The NOLA Grilled Oysters come sizzling on a hot griddle, with four different fillings, four pieces each, for a total of 16 oysters. The price might seem a bit indulgent, but not if you consider the effort and ingredients that go into this presentation. Each type was flavorful, and there wasn't a single one I didn't enjoy. The salted fish fried rice was an interesting experience. I enjoyed the dish, though the salted fish was less salty than I expected. Someone in our group, who usually doesn't like salted fish fried rice because they find it too salty, actually liked this version for its milder flavor. The plate also includes four large shrimp. The shaken beef was tasty and tender; the garlic noodles were al dente and had just enough garlic--not excessive. The sautéed garlic added a smoky, nutty taste to the bok choy. The quail was marinated well and tasted good--but I wonder if it was fried just a bit too long. After this meal, I chatted with a friend who lives in the community. He'd been to this spot before but dismissed it as just another seafood boil joint. After our conversation, though, he said he'd be willing to give it another shot. I guess your impression of this restaurant depends, at least in part, on what you order. The service, by the way, was excellent. The dining environment was clean and comfortable, with plenty of television screens so people could keep up with World Cup matches.

Washed it all down with their fresh bottled lemonade in strawberry and regular. First thing, the bread. So good. It honestly tastes like it's baked fresh daily and that alone makes a difference. Second, they are not stingy with the lobster. Every bite actually has lobster in it, not just filler. Everything was rich, fresh, and super satisfying. The bisque and chowder were the perfect add ons and the pasta and mac and cheese just took it over the top. The vibe is really cute too. It gives under the sea meets Fisherman's Wharf. Service was good and there's a decent amount of seating inside with cute little marine themed decor. Lobster roll combo with the soup ($32) - I got the Maine style (cold) lobster roll which had really good flavor and the amount of lobster was really nice. I wish they pushed the lobster down into the roll a little more instead of stacking it on top to make it look fuller because it made it a lot harder to eat. The side salad was okay. I liked the clam chowder a lot. Fries and tater tots were perfectly crispy! Flaming hot lobster fries ($25): This feels a bit overpriced for what it is and kind of lackluster. Fries were good and crispy but the cheese wasn't melted well. Lobster is thrown on there and I think it would be better with cheeto dust versus the random cheetos thrown on top. Fish tacos ($15): You get three tacos which is decent pricing. The fish was crispy and flavor is basic but good. All in all, a good spot to get your lobster roll fix without having to drive too far!

This helped us get a table much faster than we would have than if we had just shown up and waited. We ordered the large family meal, and there were 12 of us. We also ordered the Newport Lobster, fish fillet with black bean sauce, and an extra shrimp fried rice. Overall, I think the food was good, and the prices are reasonable (except the lobster, which was pricey, as you might expect from anything listed as "market price"). Most of us in the group thought the fish fillet with black bean sauce was the best. I thought it was very good, but not necessarily fantastic. (There are other Chinese restaurants that do it a little better.) The sauce was very good, but the fish wasn't quite as tender as it can be. Definitely a solid 4 stars. Other dishes were good. I think the scallop soup could have been great for some people, but my wife and I both hate cilantro, and there was a ton of cilantro. The pork was also good, and my friends thought the clams were also really good. I found the fried rice a bit bland. And for both the lobster and the crab, they could have made them a little easier to eat by cracking the shells a bit more for us. I hate fighting with my food ... And there was a fair amount of fighting on these 2 dishes. The lobster cost almost much as all the other dishes combined. It certainly looked amazing. And the sauce was very good. But I found most of it a bit overcooked. Maybe it was our fault for asking for a big one. Maybe a smaller lobster might have been cooked a little less. The great sauce (along with the fighting with the shell) might have covered up the fact that the meat was actually a bit tough and rubbery. I don't think I'd order this again. The service was very friendly and pretty fast. And, again, other than the lobster, the pieces were pretty reasonable.

Our family joked around and would say let's go to the travel agency restaurant when we had a craving for Chinese/Vietnamese type of food. I recall the food back then was extra tasty and memorable, leaving me wanting to return again and again. However, my recent lunch outing with my girlfriends changed my mind. Our servers were attentive and friendly. I think it helped that my friend was a familiar customer. We came on a Monday afternoon around 11:30 and It was early enough where parking was still available. We ordered the classic dishes, including salt and pepper fried pork chopsand salt and pepper fried shrimp, but the taste this time around left a lot to be desired. These two dishes lacked the crunchiness and flavors that these fried entrees are supposed to showcase. We found the pork chops to be dry and tough, as if it was prepared a while ago and sitting out for some time before it made its way to our table. The shrimp was not impressive either. At least the shaking beef or bo luc lac was good. The beef chunks were tender, and the flavors were on point. Bonus points for the broth that is complimentary during lunch. Also the complimentary orange slices were a nice touch to end our meal. We'd still return for the lobster and noodle when the occasion comes up.

Have been to this restaurant many times, and food is always consistent! Came visit to the restaurant last week, and ordered my favorite Grilled Escargot with Garlic Butter and Peppercorn, Grilled Scallops with Cheese, and my all-time favorite Chilean Sea Bass hot pot! The grilled escargots are a must-have when visiting this place! These are perfectly grilled with rich garlic butter for sweetness, and with a slight kick of spiciness from the peppercorn. Don't forget to also dip the escargot meat with black pepper and a few squeeze of fresh lime juice! If you like melted cheese, then the grilled scallops with cheese would be the perfect match. Each scallop is covered melted cheese and comes sizzling on a hot plate when ordered! Last but certainly not least, my favorite dish of this restaurant is the Chilean Sea Bass hot pot. The order comes with your own tabletop gas stove, along with a hot pot filled with a tom yum like sour soup base. For ingredients, it also includes a plate with slices of pineapple, quarter cut fresh tomato slices, fresh bean sprouts, rice noodles, and a full plate of large pieces of Chilean Sea Bass. Just put all the ingredients in the hot pot and let it cook for 5-10mins on high, I promise you it is one of the best soups you will ever have! Service is good as always. This place always seems to be busy, so you may have to be on the waitlist during certain business hours (eg holidays, prime dinner time, etc). Parking wise, the restaurant is located in a busy plaza, and so you may have to drive around a few times before finding an open spot. However as I said earlier, it's worth the wait. Highly recommended.
