Marc and his employee were very diligent, taking their time and thoroughly inspecting the tank, filters, floats and backfill device. They cleaned everything thoroughly, pressure washed the inside of the tank, replaced a cracked float device and gave thorough instructions on how to reset the alarm on the tank. The charge was what was quoted which was in line with prices quoted by other companies. I've calendared them to return in 5 years (that's the suggested time to do this again). They cleaned every single window on the property for us, including our renter's windows and now all of the windows are super clean. The pricing was very reasonable and the worker was eager to get work. These guys are exterior cleaning pros and told me they can also come by and do any type of cleaning we need, so I'm hiring them again to work on some other areas of the property that need to be cleaned. There is an upstairs to our business, too, and they got those windows spotlessly clean. Also, they cleaned the front doors really nicely, getting around the signage and making them look brand new. He gave me a quote and I was to send him half upfront and the other half when the job is complete. I sent him 200.00, a quote of 400.00 for the job. Once here, he says there would be an increase on the quote due to the fact the pics I sent didn't really show the amount. So the charge for his service went from 400.00 to 575.00. I offered 550.00, he agreed. I came into the house and sent 75.00 because I am to provide half upfront, right? 275.00 now 275.00 after. He arrives with his co-worker and they do the work. They came back again a day or two later, but the job was not finished. That's ok. It needed several trips, but ....that night on the 4th of August I received a text (see pics) and he asked me for 200.00. Huh!? Thomas the owner of this business asked me for the rest of the money, 275.00 without finishing but boy did he promise not to screw me over, he did. I waited for 2 weeks for him to come and finish for 2 weeks!!! He got everything he asked of me and i got ripped off. I sent the money for fear he would not come back, he never came back and will not provide me with any refund for the work he was paid for but chose not to do. What a dick!!! I guess he takes advantage of women, i see another review that states she was ripped off. Professional? No....criminal? Yes! The guy arrived at my house 2 hours after my initial Yelp inquiry and quickly diagnosed the problem. The blower motor had fried, which meant I had neither heat nor AC. He quickly located a new motor, but he wasn't happy with the price he was quoted so he found another source, much cheaper for the same model. NICE! Unfortunately, I had appointments that afternoon until late night, which meant I couldn't be home before he could return with the part. Alas, the repair would have to wait until the next day. Not his fault... my appointments couldn't be avoided. So, dreading the cold night, I was actually thinking I might pay for a hotel that night. This is where it gets awesome: While he was getting the part, he also purchased and left two space heaters at my home to borrow. The space heaters had a thermostat so the temperature stayed perfect and I slept great. The next day, bright and early, he showed me the invoice for the part he had bought, and charged me a fair price for labor. Given the time consumed by the job, the price was more than fair. Now my system works great, and I'm pretty sure it's costing me a lot less to run because that old motor had been making noise and guzzling electricity before it tuckered out. (He showed me the old part... The shaft makes crunchy noises when you turn it by hand. If you know anything about motors, when you stall one or put a load on it, it draws a ton of current.) Our family recently reached out to Ronnie for help getting power working for a new fifth wheel. We…read morehadn't met him before finding him on Yelp, but he was able to come the same day and stayed past dark just to make sure we would have things working by the time he was done. Then he came back and spent another full day on a permanent solution for the problem we had, including digging a trench to run the power through, securing things on the roof, patching the wall that had to be opened up, and replacing pavers that had to be removed. He returned last week to help with a different electrical issue on the property and we've had no issues with the electricity in both homes since he took care of them. I can't show the running electricity in photos, unfortunately, and he did such a great job of patching things back up, you almost wouldn't know so much hard work went into the repairs. He was very respectful and friendly and also offered tips about the area we just moved to. Enjoyed chatting with him about a shared family experience with feral kittens, and a cattery he'd built for another customer. His rates were reasonable and we would definitely recommend him to others. We hope to be able to hire him for a plumbing project and fencing work in the future.
