An aquatince refereed me to Herb Chambers Honda Boston dealership. Not only did GM Tom take my dead KIA but he also gave me more money than I owed - and no they didn't play the trick of jacking up the price on what I bought to balance it out - I test drove 3 cars and settled on a 2014 KIA Soul. It came with no used car warranty and I chose not to purchase an extended OR GAP. I took my new/used Soul home. Drove it 3,956 miles in 6 weeks. Blew the engine!! Mass warranty is 1,250 miles. I was nervous calling the dealership back. They sent a tow truck the next morning and called me 2 days later to tell me "Jimmy the engine blew, you're well past your warranty & we are not obligated to do anything, but we WILL pay off your loan, we will not stick you with this car and this problem. You can either walk away or you can come in and we'll sell you another car." I was shocked but pleased I didn't have to deal with the stress of it. I went back and decided to buy a much newer car 2017 Ford Escape Titanium. LOVED IT for the 3 weeks I had it until someone totaled it! Yup-can't make this stuff up. Didn't even make a payment and here I am for the third time this year with No car again! Commerce is now paying the new loan off and they told me "we valise the car $800 more than your loan and your loan also consists of all your fees and reg, and GaP and a 90,000 extended warranty?! Wow you got a good deal on that car you're very lucky the value is above what you owe." So back to HC I go! Lol. I called GM Tom on Friday and told him.. I also showed him a car that HC in Braintree has that I want (same car) he said "I'll have it here Monday I'll see you then." Went back Monday & the car was waiting for me. To make the payment & deal the same they lowered the price $1500.. There is no way on earth I'd ever buy a car at another dealership ever again. These people went out of their way for me THREE times now and they didn't have to. And each time they made it happen within a few hours in one day! And yes each time that place was packed full of people buying cars . They deserve a lot more than 5 stars. And I am NOT an easy customer to please and/or deal with.

They were genuine ,trustworthy and stood behind their product ! I had some issues after I had bought the van and they fixed them all to my full satisfaction ! They even managed to deal with my nervousness ,and put up with a bit of my irritation. This van I bought since has had thousands of miles put on it well beyond the mileage I bought it at . It is now approaching 200,000 miles and still runs like a dream .I have driven it back and forth across the state of connecticut over and over at one point for work I had been doing contracting electrical work. I'm really frustrated so I'm telling you so that everyone doesn't have the same situation as me. The situation is that my car has some scratches, I want to repaint it. When I met the owner, she quoted 1200 to repaint the scratches and said that she would polish the car and guarantee that all the scratches would disappear (there was a big scratch and a few small scratches and she said "don't worry, I'll do it cheaper for you so you can introduce customers to me, when I'm done, I guarantee that your car will have no scratches left, I'll make your car really beautiful for me to advertise) and she said I could bring the car in the next morning and pick it up that afternoon. And I was allowed to go to the office to do the paperwork, after I paid the 600 deposit (on the receipt it said "Paint around car"), they said there was no schedule for the next day, I could bring the car in on Friday morning and pick it up on Saturday afternoon 4 pm. Talking outside, it can be done immediately and finished in 1 day, but when starting to do the paperwork and pay the deposit, it will take 3 days to do it and it will be done in 2 days. Yes, I agreed because I didn't need the car urgently and didn't rush them. With the appointment written at 4 pm on Saturday, I could pick up the car. Everything was fine until 4:30 on Saturday, they texted to say the car would be available at 6:00, then around 5:30 they texted again and said the car would be available at 7:00. At exactly 7:00, I came to pick up the car, but they said 7:30. Finally, I received the car at 8:00. But it didn't end there. After receiving the car, the small scratches on the car were still there, and there were more small scratches around the car, and there were many, many small paint scratches that looked like there were many small stones hitting them. (My car is black and the scratches are white). After I talked to the shop owner, they said it happened before. then. they are not responsible (at first the conversation and the results were not completely consistent) they absolutely do not take responsibility for this matter. and the owner's child said "I am responsible for the paint, but I don't know about the other places, your car is an old car but you used a flashlight to shine on it and wanted to make it look like a new car (my car has about 24,000 miles, and it was almost 8:30 pm). while at first they said to fix all the scratches and make sure the car looks like new) when I got home, I just started to check the 24-hour dash cam that was installed by the car dealer. then I found out that during the time my car was at the repair shop, they used my car to do personal work.. to summarize my frustrating story, when I went to repaint my car, I did not bargain or bargain about time or money because I wanted my car to be done as well as possible. The price was given by the shop owner, the quality was stated by them and the time was also set by them. money was they took enough time to reschedule 3 times, but the quality is terrible. let me ask if anyone encounters the same situation as me, will they speak up or stay silent. everything I said has messages and pictures to prove it.
