We purchased our first Kia Telluride from Nestor Santillan and I'll be referring any family/ friends in need of a Kia to him! He was hands down the most helpful person to work with and answered all of our questions about all the different trim levels of the Telluride. We eventually settled on a SX Prestige X Line thanks to Nestor listening to what we were looking for in an suv for our family! We don't have any service department experiences yet but once we do I'll update my review with how it goes! As far as sales we were pleasantly surprised with how quick we were able to make a deal and get out of there! It was maybe 2-3 hours in total from start to finish. They had plenty of inventory to choose from and we were able to actually see everything without having to wait or be pressured like we were at other dealerships to hurry up and make a deal on something we didn't really want in the end. As far as sales I would 100% recommend going to Camelback Kia and just ask for Nestor he'll make sure you get what you're looking for and do his best to get you the deal you're looking for! P.S. if you're his boss that drives the Hummer EV and you're reading this, let him take it for a spin! He deserves it after all of his hard work with our deal! read more

Had an 1130am service appointment and showed up at 1120am today. Was told to wait in the lobby and someone would be with me shortly. Waited until 12pm and noone form the service department could be bothered to get off there computers to help me. The young lady who checked me in came by and asked if I had been helped and said she would go check in. Not sure what is more important than helping a in-person customer with an appointment. Terrible service from their "service" department. Wish I didn't buy my car from them. Nothing but a pain dealing with that team from the second I drove my car off that lot. I actually started writing my review while in the Kia dealership. It appears I had time to kill. This specific review is of the Service department. First off...I LOVE my Kia. It's comfortable, I have driven over 200k miles and it still works great, and it is a low maintenance vehicle . My car qualifies for a Kia Reimbursement program, (that speaks to how old my car is). Last summer I came into the Camelback Kia dealership to get my milage reviewed like I've done on numerous occasions at other dealerships. Long story short, 9 months and 3 visits later the Service department finally figured out how to confirm my mileage with Kia corporate. We had to get the Service Manager involved. Exhausting!! Make sure you get a receipt/paperwork that states your mileage has been submitted before you leave. Don't let them tell you "...let me take your info and I'll work on this later". I stopped here to look at purchasing a new SUV and had a terrible experience. Immediately from the get-go, my salesman refused to listen to what I wanted. I did find a car I somewhat liked but was clear I was not buying the same day. He proceeded to waste my time "running the numbers" and then had a whole pressure technique that I had to take the deal or lose the car. That made it an easy choice to walk out. Then, of course, he set me up for an appointment later that night that I started getting emails for. I would never return to that dealership for any reason! A large part of my frustration is also that I felt very very unsafe there. While signage on the front door alleges masks are required, the vast majority of staff had no masks on inside. My salesman kept pulling his mask under his nose and insisted we stop so he could buy a bottle of water to drink unmasked during the test drive. I don't spend time in cars with unmasked strangers, and I hated being put in that position. It was unsafe and he was wholly unprofessional. I have never seen a business so unconcerned with safety protocols during the pandemic. Even if you happen to get a decent salesman, do not visit here if you have concerns about covid safety. read more

This place is unethical!! My family got SCAMMED. Buying/selling under false pretense is wrong. We got a trade in offer in WRITING from them today, allowed them to run credit and drive hours for this deal. Spoke with a salesman and finance who both SAID they verified with the manager on shift for the overall approved price. We just needed to come and sign papers, vehicle was detailed and all- After driving for hours to pick it up, we find out they SCAMMED us and took off $4,000 of the amount they promised for a trade in. Basically, they promote that you can get in contact with sales and get approval and buy comfortably in your home, etc. DON'T do it. They scam you just to get you in the door and then hope you will cave and buy when they offer a fraction less. Needless to say, we walked. We kept asking them to make it right but they didn't care one bit. It took about 20 min just for the manager to even listen to my husband and he didn't care what he had to say at all. Would love to figure out who the managers boss is!! And going to look into BBB and file a complaint. I hope this isn't happening to other families; it was pretty dead in there and the salesman was blowing up my phone; I just thought they needed to make a sale; they do; but they will screw you to get their top dollar. read more

an hour ago NEW The sales experience is actually better than most. We saw the (used) car we came to see, we liked it, they were friendly and they made us a fair deal. The financing and MVD office are strictly amateur hour. That would make make me reconsider buying there again. My son lives in Arizona but I'm out of state, so even though I have no credit challenges, it took a while to put together a financing package, despite a significant cash down payment and a trade. After two weeks, I hadn't heard, so I called them (they didn't call me), and they had secured a bank with the rate that they had offered. Another week passed and they called my son (they had an error with my number) to say that they had forgotten that we needed to sign a specific paper for the out of state arrangement. That delay precluded plates from being issued. When that was resolved on 1/31 the finance manager said he would expedite the MVD paperwork. On 2/11 I inquired again (since I told them that I had a specific timeline due due irregular visits to Arizona), and surprise! The plates HAD NOT YET BEEN PROCESSED. Very coincidentally, it got done on Monday and the plates will not arrive while I am here. Nothing irritates me more than being made a promise - particularly after multiple issues - to have no follow through. If I wanted that type of issue, I'd go to a less reputable place. I had originally given them the benefit of the doubt and taken the Finance Manager at his word; he blamed MVD. That was misplaced. The Finance Manager did NOT expedite the tags after their error and then blamed MVD. MVD, on the other hand, turned the registration in TWO DAYS. I hate being lied to. read more

There is a reason I have not purchased a New car in 23 years...I despise the process of negotiating knowing they will try everything to screw you over for maximum profit. Sorry for long review. The Good. Sales guys I worked with were nice, but most importantly, this Dealership kept their word on a verbal deal I made previous week and did the right thing in the end which is very honorable. The Bad A different manager tried to absolutely hose me on a car I had priced out at same Kia Dealership week prior by 10k over his partners price. The place does feel a bit disorganized from the other Kia dealerships I had walked into, and I was shocked the 2nd sales manager did not even talk to me or come over after I signed purchase agreement to introduce himself or thank me for my business. I have never had that happen in all of my past car deals. The story I had been pricing the '23 Hybrid Sportage for the last month and had been to several dealers to try and find the best offer like any smart car shopper. The MSRP on the model I wanted was 34k. Markup on these cars in Az is around 4k at most dealers. The best deal I had offered was 2k over MSRP at Tempe Kia. I went in to Camelback Kia a week prior and Brian (Sales Manager who was great to me ) came over and talked to me about ordering this car told me it will take 4-6 months to get from Korea, but he said if I did custom order he would not charge me over MSRP. I was contemplating a Sportage Hybrid or the Sorrento Turbo gas model that priced out the door at 50k...I wanted the weekend to think about it. For me the wiser financial decision was to come back and go with the Hybrid for 34.1k. After taxes, fees and docs it would be around 39-40k, which I was completely happy with after shopping this vehicle for a month. I get to KIA Camelback and Brian is unfortunately not working. I go through the whole sales process with a different team member, but I wanted the price sheet before I sign for the order. He comes back from the on duty sales manager with a 10k price increase for out the door for over 50k.......WTF.... I was furious at such a markup. Two min later my sales guys comes back and says "We never offer MSRP with this car, but because Brain offered you that price, we will stand by it." I gave two stars cause the whole process seemed a bit unorganized and I hate feeling that some sales manager try to absolutely hose me over and make me his boyfriend. Out of all my estimates in Valley, nobody had the car priced that insanely high over MSRP, not even Scottsdale Kia. Kia Camelback did charge me a 2k worth of "add ons fees" they said it was getting the process of the car ready...I have no idea what that means, but no way its 2k worth of prep work to get car ready?!?! Kia Tempe was going to wave that fee which was only 1000. In the end, the MSRP cost still saved me much more in taxes at Camelback Kia. Keeping ones word is definitely something I teach my daughters, so even though I despised how much one manager tried to bend me over and take me to Tuna Town, I certainly appreciate him honoring his other sales managers promise he had made a week earlier. I hate that happened because it ruined my car buying experience at this dealership and I was going to give them huge kudos for selling a car in this market at MSRP. That's how you get customers back...make them not feel like they are being milked for ever penny they work for. I think if your a great negotiator and are not easily taken advantage of and have nerves of steel, you can try and see if you can work a deal here, it worked out for me in the end. If your one to be more intimidated by sales guys and are easily taken advantage of I would advise not coming here cause you might just get taken to Tuna Town. read more

I waited here for two hours and all I scheduled is an oil change, no other services. I've never had to wait more than one hour at ANY other Kia dealership that I have been to. I've been to plenty dealerships all over Arizona and in several other states. Do yourself a favor and go to Scottsdale Kia or the dealership in Gilbert. This place misses the ball every time I've been here. Who has time to wait at two hours for such a simple service? To say this is a bad review or just a complaint is a mere understatement. The neglect and many expenses I have acquired with this ongoing ordeal are just a few of many instances that have made it hard to function on a normal day to day basis. What good is a warranty if a world known business does not honor it? How am I as a consumer responsible for mechanical errors that have nothing to do with me . I have not ever ignored or delayed my car of any type of service if it needed it I was on it with no hesitation. I have been left without a vehicle for a year and a half now with accumulated lyft expenses because of me being without my usual form of transportation. My warranty was not honored at all and I am getting charged monthly payments for a car that is out of commission due to your dealers neglectful care. I took my vehicle here several times to get serviced and looked into but instead I was treated to full blown neglect with each so called representative blaming the previous person who assisted me in order to not be held accountable for any blatant wrong doing on their part. I was told on previous visits that it was only minor serviceable repairs and the result of my current situation has proven otherwise. Even a simple process like changing oil was too monumental to their employees at this facility for them to ignore putting the oil cap back after changing it and allowing me to drive off the facility with a problematic vehicle. These incidents happened several times not just to me but to other hard working consumers as well. My vehicle just sits there collecting dust with brand new tires that I never got to use because of this non ending ongoing dilemma. I am charged monthly and pay insurance for a car that is inoperable. The calls from KIA to pay for a new engine or lease a new vehicle never end because of this money hungry enterprise who knows they are not honoring my warranty yet it doesn't stop them from completely overlooking my plight as they bombard me with sale seeking phone calls. Consumers BEWARE of this one sided establishment and if you do visit this poor excuse for a dealership save your receipts, ask all the right questions, and make sure each person does their job right from the greeter , to the mechanic, and the person at the register because if you don't you're going to witness full blown irresponsible adults take zero accountability for their actions and treat you like another number instead of a faithful client. read more

My Mom had spoke with Ray about a vehicle here and she seemed to trust him. I went alone just me a 26 year old female. I arrive and Ray is busy. I get the young guy Roger (been there maybe 6months he said) I was firm at my price range and payments I'd like and I needed help to find a car in my range. He did not show me the vehicle my mom looked at online and spoke to Ray to. He takes me to the lot and has absolutely so idea how to do his job, didn't point out a single car in my range, I had to ask so what about this (points) he's go oh that's not your range, in my head I'm thinking.. can you show me my range? Can you point out cars I'd like in my range??? He couldn't. I called my mom to tell her this kid has no idea what he's doing and that I'm just wondering around this giant 110 degree lot with no direction. I'm not a car salesman. He immediately starts pushing me into cars that are $500 payments a month. Keeps saying "I'll be like your bro and help you this is what you need" I had asked for my OWN car keys back over 4 times and said "I WANT TO LEAVE" many more. " oh just wait let's see what we can do for you" heard that while held HOSTAGE 4 times. I texted my mom saying "I'm scared" "they're pushing me into cars WAY OVER MY PRICE" "they won't let me leave mom I'm scared" hours go by, I'm on the edge of tears and I'm SCARED I can't leave without my car keys. finally, I stood up crumpled my empty water bottle so loud multiple other salesman looked at me and said "are you okay" . My reply was "NO, I have asked for my keys (my property) numerous of times, said I wanted to leave NUMEROUS TIMES! Where are my keys!!! I want to leave now!!!!" Suddenly everyone actually cared that they were holding me hostage and scaring the crap out of a girl alone in a dealership. A random person gave me my keys and tried to speak to me about the situation all I could say was "NO NO NO" as I literally RAN out the Kia camelback wooden shed they have going on right now. The person who did my financing quit and left my financing to be picked up and delayed for nearly a month. Brian claims he's going to help but was argumentative the entire conversation. The general manager clearly is so far removed from this dealership because ALL of his employees are absolute garbage. Car buying is never a fun process, but this dealer makes it even worse. I called about a model of car they had on the internet. The salesman said it had just arrived and was still wrapped in plastic from shipping. It was 5pm and I said I would be there the next day. I called 15 minutes out and he said he was waiting. When I got there, the salesman was unavailable and the car had been sold. Okay fine, so I worked with another salesman on an upgraded version and I put down a $1000 deposit. The car was intended as a gift and said I would be back later that day. This time, before returning, I called ahead of time. They said the car was no longer available ("it just sold seconds ago" or some other unlikely story). No calls, no notice, no appreciation for the inconvenience. However, they said they had another similar model arriving in a month and I should come down right away. I asked why and they said it was to fill out paperwork. I told them to just apply my deposit to this car and I'll be down when it arrives. No, they said, you have to come down now. Unless I signed a contract and paid for the car, they refused to hold it for me (it was still a month out from arrival). I explained that they had bait-and-switched cars on me twice and I didn't trust them to deliver the car I wanted. They explained that I simply didn't understand their process and unless I did what they asked they wouldn't hold the car. They are either untrustworthy, or disorganized...you decide. Probably one of the most chaotic, disappointing car buying experiences I've ever had. The car was not ready as promised when I flew into PHX from Seattle. I had to spend money on a hotel - and the service manager tried to talk me out of a critical repair that they had identified. No cars don't really need motor mounts... They offered me a discount for my inconvenience- then reneged. I lost two days of a planned five San Diego because the process was so chaotic. multiple people offered to assist and then disappeared. I spent over $20K at the dealership, and they never provided inspection or work records to verify their comittmenta. They never provided a title to the vehicle - or responded to multiple requests for information. My recommendation: go somewhere else. If you do go there, get any offer or comittment in writing. I was not able to get Camelback Kia to answer their phone around noon the other day. A recorded voice invited me to leave my number for a callback. My 5 year old Kia had just flunked an emissions test and it's been burning oil. I found what I thought was the old direct service number but it was Adrain Jamarillo 's cell phone. Adrian answered and explained he was now working at a different Kia dealership and he invited me right over to fix the emission problem " in- line". He did so within 1min! The next day my oil light started going on and off. I drove it to Camelback Kia the next morning. It was around 7:50A and I was told since I didn't have an appointment it was a problem. I didn't want to be a problem so I left. I drove it straight to Adrian, when I arrived, I apologized for not having an appointment but " my oil light keeps going on when I stop at lights." Adrian said, " No problem Sheri, first thing, please pop your hood so I can check your oil". Within a few hours, my car had 3 major parts replaced all within my warranty. Adrian advised me to check my oil every 1000 miles, he even offered to check it personally for me. I have given Camelback Kia 3 stars instead of one because, in the past, Brandon was helpful in getting the Kia corporate and extended warranty folks to expedite parts needed for other warranty issues. But since Adrian has my back I will service my car at Ken Garff Kia as long as Adrian is there! read more

I could not see the marker on the black car because it was night time. My seat belt takes a while to buckle. My key is about to fall apart. Don't do business with jacky She promised me a free full tank of gas if I brought it back in to the dealer, called yesterday to take her up on her promise and she told me she never said that. My father and his wife were there with me and both heard the promise. After paying over $38,400 in full she made me feel like a degenerate over a $50 tank of gas and a promise. I was going to take the Sorento in for the tank of gas as promised so I could also buy myself a new car while I was there. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. Took my K900 in as there are several things going wrong with it. Steering locks up intermittently at slow speeds, cruise control will just stop working when set for a couple miles, all electrical power will just go off and the car goes into neutral while driving, and power will go out when turning off and car won't start. Brought to Kia camelback 267$ later they say they couldn't find a problem. (Diagnosis and oil change) I have had the car now for about a week and the problems still occur. Car currently won't start in driveway. I went back to Kia and they said I can tow it there and they can diagnose it again for 165$. read more

He said he had one on the lot and if I can get there within the day he'd give me a great deal on it so he could make his monthly bonus. He still told us to look at the car then sent us on a test drive with one of his coworkers. So I went one day to try to make a deal that didn't work out and I'm not dissatisfied with that turnout the numbers just didn't add up. The second day was the problem. I went back to them to trade in a different car and purchase a used car from them. I called them ahead of time to check the availability and , it was available. They had ran my credit the day before so they knew my situation with my trade in and credit score. I asked if they could start the purchase process over the phone since they already had my info. The guy I spoke to immediately said yeah no problem. He promised that based on what he sees in my profile that he'll make it work no matter what. ( he even said he's a man of his word) He said we're on a recorded line and I'm promising you that sale. ZERO DOWN. TRADE IN PAYOFF AND 500 PAYMENT. I called back 2 minutes later to confirm what he had promised me , because I did tell him I don't want to drive 45 minutes across town for no reason. I'm ready to buy under those conditions. He confirmed and I headed over immediately. Once I got there everything changed . They failed to keep their end of the deal . Gave me numbers no where near where I had told them I wanted to be. The guy I spoke to supposedly wasn't there , And they tried selling me cars that clearly didn't fit my needs. IT WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME , drove 60 miles for fake promises . read more

Service took 6 hours for an oil change, when I left I received a check engine light. When I scheduled an appointment into dealership, as I arrived I was told to go to VW across the street since it was used and a different brand than KIA. Having bought an extended warranty through them the warranty didn't cover anything because I was never offered multiple options other than just that lower tier level. The dealership then told me it will cost $2,000 to fix the issue and ended up going somewhere else and paid $900. Good luck trying to contact the finance department for a copy of my extended warranty through phone too! You have to physically go in to get anything from them!!! read more

I wish i could give them no stars!! Do NOT get your service maintenance done here unless you want to leave with something broken and they try to make YOU pay for it. I was told they were going to do a quick car check up that would be an hour, waited 7 hours, each time they would give me a different issue! I left the dealership with a completely broken window or an option to pay $700 for what THEY BROKE. I have been to every Kia dealership from Tucson-Phoenix and this has been the WORSE one. DONT GO THERE! read more
