We have used Camelback moving locally four times. Each time the guys were courteous and polite, and most of all, careful. This time we moved 900 miles away. It was a big decision and the second biggest decision was choosing a moving company. After speaking with Tina (so helpful and patient) and then having Anthony come out to asses our house to make an offer, we felt it was the next right move to agree to hire Camelback. Moving can be stressful enough, but moving three states away, you cannot forget anything. It was also one of the hottest days of the year when everyone had an opportunity to be grumpy. No one was. It made all the effort that much easier. A dog was wandering around and the guys pointed it out, as it was under foot. We chatted about how we could help dog. That's how thoughtful and kind the movers were. Such lovely people. Once we arrived, our belongs arrived exactly on time. They were careful and placed everything where we asked. This move was made better because of Camelback and Mack, our driver. Mack answered all our questions patiently, and even let me call him Matt for the first day. I thought his name was Matt! This made me laugh and shows what a kind man he is. Thank you so much Camelback! Truly, thank you for being honorable, caring people who did what you said you would. Will they care for our things? Will they do what they say? Will they actually deliver our things. Can I trust them? YES, to all these questions. During the quotation and planning stage of our interstate move, Anthony diligently worked to coordinate and shuffle routes on his end to provide us with our desired schedule. His commitment to our needs and satisfaction was a deciding factor for why we hired them as well as the fact that they could commit to a delivery date and time, as opposed to a delivery window of several days like their competitors. Their professional service continued when Steve did the walkthrough to confirm the estimate. On the day of the move, Marcos and his team really shined: after arriving on-time, they meticulously tagged all our items and hand wrapped all our kitchen items, including the small glassware. The furniture items were wrapped with blankets, and mats were used to protect the carpet from the moving carts. At our destination, the move-in started on-time with the same level of care and efficiency. We can't say enough about how pleased we are with how Marcos and his team took care of us. They were super friendly and patient with us; we were very comfortable with them, and our minds were at ease knowing they were transporting our items. Lastly, after we had already hired the company and paid our deposit, Anthony came back to us and reduced the price because they were able to pass on logistical saving they incurred after-the-fact. We contacted Camelback Moving due to the recommendations seen on various platforms. They answered the phone when we called (so rare these days) and promptly provided a very competitive quote, we decided to give them a try. Three men arrived on the scheduled date and time and quickly went to work. This team was very careful to wrap in blankets; use bubble wrap and protect everything we had! When we arrived at our new residence, they walked through the home and commented on the beautiful wood floors and the heavy furniture possibly damaging them if we moved or rearranged anything in the future. They recommended I purchase furniture pads, which I was happy to run to the local hardware store and buy. In the meantime, they moved other items into the home and waited for me to return with the protective pads. They installed the pads on everything while moving them into the appropriate rooms that were heavy and\or could damage flooring! This advice and willingness to accommodate without an upsell was refreshing. I happily picked up lunch for the guys and tipped them accordingly. They worked much of the day on our move and even asked if they could take a couple 10-minute breaks over the course of the day. They could have just disappeared into the back of their truck, and I wouldn't have noticed but the integrity and honesty in asking was commendable! I had a great experience with Camelback Moving. I found them on Yelp and realized a lot of my friends have used them. I will start with booking the service. Once I decided to make the reservation, they emailed me all their paperwork. I really like this as there was no surprises when I signed with the movers. It helped set the right expectation for me. Stephanie took the time to explain the included insurance policy to me," 60 cents per pound" and gave me an idea of what % of their customers opt for additional insurance through a 3rd party. Had I had to filed a claim, I would have known what to expect, and it was my choice. I really appreciated this. Based on 70 - 5 star reviews, I decided I didn't need third party insurance and I was right. Mario, Craig and ( our 3rd mover?) were very careful with our belongings.They moved quickly, were not standing around, or taking smoke breaks. They wrapped all of our furniture and packed the truck very very efficiently. I have not yet turned on my tv, however visibly there is no damage, so if it doesn't work, I'll update but I don't think it's a problem. My fiance said she noticed couple nicks on the doorway, however with the large items we had I believe that was to be expected. Hiring movers was absolutely essential for our sanity after closing escrow, and while I hope I don't need to do it again for a long time, if I did, I would hire camelback. read more

Great Service on Short Notice! We needed to move a heavy rolltop desk from one room to another, which had to be taken out & then back in through our patio doors as the desk was too wide to fit through the doorway. The rolltop couldn't be removed because it was secured by wooden pegs, which increased the weight. We decided to do this on a Saturday morning, called around to a few companies with no success, then found Camelback Moving: president Chad Olsen promised to have two men come out that afternoon for a very reasonable price, said that they would call when they were on their way, & took our Visa deposit over the phone. Louis & David S. called ahead when they finished early at another job in the area, then arrived to carefully wrap our desk to protect it while moving it: they were careful & efficient, dealt with the patio door steps, & moved the desk right where we wanted it with no mishaps. Both men were very pleasant & experienced, & we were taken aback to have them offer to also move anything else we needed lifted & moved, as we had paid for an hour of their time: luckily for them(!), we had nothing else that day... Camelback Moving was great, & we would definitely use them again. It's a real plus that they will take any size jobs, including a small load like ours. I recently used Camelback Moving to move my furniture (some of which is quite old and holds a lot of sentimental value). From my first call to their office to the last piece of furniture they moved, everyone I spoke with was very professional and respectful. I work in the hospitality industry so customer service is extremely important to me - and Camelback Moving treated me with the highest level of customer service. The 2 movers were very friendly and professional - and seemed to treat my furniture as if it were their own. They worked quickly and efficiently from the moment they arrived until the moment they finished. When we were signing all the paperwork - they answered all of my questions and volunteered all of the information regarding insurance (60 cents per pound is standard). Plus, their rates were great on my wallet! Prior to this move, I had moved my belongings and furniture across the country via another moving company - and I was horrified by the experience. I had been treated like I was just another move - with no respect or care for my things. I was hesitant about using a moving company again - but am so happy I chose Camelback Moving! This is highly unfortunate...YOU'RE SO EXPENSIVE!!!! The first time I used your services was January of this year (2018): 3 movers, a truck, and only a few pieces of heavy furniture for a 13.6 mile commute. the total trip took 6 hours...I had previously packed all personal belongings. the total cost was less than $800 ($790). October of 2018: I called to see if I could utilize their resources again, this time for a trip of 7.2 miles, a truck, and 3 movers...again, all personal items would be previously packaged prior to their arrival: I was told that this move, although the trip distance was cut in half, and the fact that I would also have friends helping me move things to the truck to quicken the pace , apparently it would take 8 hours, and cost me "approximately" $949.00...why? their rates seemed to have changed This is for a one bedroom less than 900 sq foot apartment moving to a one bedroom less than 800 sq foot apartment...i have a bed, a couch, and a TV I asked the woman assisting me on the phone if it is normally more expensive to move during winter out here, she said it's more expensive to move during the summer months...YIKES!!! Very disappointing! You have great customer service but these rates are way too high. read more

Eddie and his crew of Victor1, Victor2, and Darrell arrive at our home with the truck. They walk the home for placement of furniture and boxes. They began unloading the truck and we started matching the stickers with our inventory sheet. With four working as a team the job moved along quickly and within a couple of hours they had completed the move in. All the beds were put together and ready for the bedding. All the wrapping material removed and taken away. Again a team works together and the 4 certainly did that. All in all the job was done expertly without breakage and missing items. We are thoroughly satisfied with the job performed. An awesome set of employees who took our direction and made our home look like someone lived here. Most boxes were staged in the garage for easy access and that helped for the unpacking and placement in the proper room. I can't stress the awesome job on both packing and pickup of item and the move into the new place. Just an OUSTANDING job. Thank you taking as much care of our furniture as we do. My husband and I just moved from PA to Arizona in the mist of a heat wave warning. We couldn't move our belongs out of the Penske truck in this blazing heat without passing out so we started searching for moving companies in the area. My wife and I are retired and recently had to vacate our Scottsdale townhouse to accommodate a contractor for extensive remodeling. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE from start to finish. In a matter of less than 30 days, we had to move my in-laws (91 and 88) from AZ to TX. We contacted more than 5 moving companies, Camelback Moving stood out as the best. From our initial call, until they unloaded in TX, the service was excellent. We knew exactly what it was going to cost, and how they were going to do the pack-up, drive, and delivery. Even better we were in communication throughout the whole process and we worked with the same person from start to finish. They came in, packed on the first day, unassembled our furniture the second day, traveled to Texas on the 3 and 4th day, and delivered as promised on the 5th day. They showed up on time to pack and deliver. At their new home, they arrived by 7:30 am and finished assembling the furniture in about 4 hours. They treated my in-law's belongings as their own, packed all the boxes with care and plenty of packing material, and wrapped all the furniture with care. VERY, VERY, VERY honest!!! We heard nothing but horror stories from people that hired movers for their move. We were looking for honest movers taht would take care of our stuff and we found them! They were extremely organized and detailed right from the very first phone call we placed to gather some information and price comparison. They were about the same price as other movers but we REALLY APPRECIATED their attention to detail and honesty. What you see is what you get!! The moving crew was timely and really worked hard. They took a few short breaks and didn't even charge us for them. They handled our stuff with care and really worked like a team. As a senior citizen I had never hired a professional moving company until recently. Sifting through companies was about as daunting as finding a new residence. A fbk friend recommended 2 Men & & a Truck, but reviews were only so-so and over 30% higher. I chose CM (Camelback Moving) because they had a preponderance of very good to great reviews, longevity of being in business AND reviews on multiple sites. Chad (not the owner one) responded that keeping their reviews high was a very high priority. I got a great discount by picking Wednesday for moving day. I chose not to acquire the additional insurance figuring my most valuable possession was my 90 lb. pup and he wasn't insurable. CM's 3 man crew moved my furniture with utmost care and excellence. They did move an heirloom dining room set with a hutch in storage with great care. very professional and they are on time. This is probably the two things that I appreciate the most about this moving company. The guy showed up at our house on time and they were ready to work. They were not procrastinating and trying to waste time like a lot of other moving companies do. And they were super professional. From the person that I spoke to on the phone to the gentleman that they dispatched out to my property it was just a very professional operation and I appreciate it. They did not damage any of my items and everything was super clean and super nice when they were done they have really nice trucks as well. I watched a Camelback Moving crew loading a variety of items from a large storage unit onto one of their moving trucks and was impressed by their quick, yet always careful, work ethic. We were leaving our R.V. storage facility in a hurry, but I stopped and talked with them about three possible needs for their services. They were friendly and helpful and I just had a very good vibe about them. We still have two jobs pending, but they recently moved our daughter and son-in-law from one home to another and it turns out my vibe was right! They communicated before and after the job wonderfully and most importantly the move was perfect! They were on time and worked quickly and carefully. They were polite, friendly and professional. This company was extremely unprofessional. They failed to disclose to us the type of insurance they offer. They broke our brand new 52 inch plasma screen TV and the driver said that it was because he almost got into an accident. He said he had to jump on the curb to avoid the car so that was when the damage was done to our tv. They then failed to disclose we were signing a waiver basically waiving all of our rights away. We did not even see on the back of our order the very faint grey writing with the information that their so called insurance covers only sixty cents per pound of weight they damage and that they are not responsible for their own negligence to your property. Had we known and researched better we never would have used this company and cant believe a company could get away with such a horrible act. It was not OUR fault that the driver almost hit someone! we gave them our money to move us and now we are out a brand new tv and 2000.00 dollars. read more
