My family and I tried to get dinner at another local pizza place in town, but the wait on 4th of July weekend was going to be an hour+. I heard the owner tell someone else about Cameo Pizza nearby, so that's where we ended up after a quick phone call to confirm they were open. They even said they had seating available for our party of six. We were indeed seated right away and our server was great. We started with an order of the sauerkraut balls, which were amazing - like a reuben in deep fried form. They had bits of meat and cheese inside, and came with a thousand island type dipping sauce. I would order these just for myself next time! Luckily most of our group weren't interested in them, so I didn't have to share with too many people. Nate and I ordered a Cameo Special to split (onion, green peppers, sausage, mushrooms, pepperoni). I liked that you could get your pizza in a variety of sizes: 7in baby, 9in small, 12in medium, or 15in large. The medium was a great size for us as we were pretty hungry. The crust was thin and the pizza was cut into strips (like breadsticks), which was fun and interesting. The toppings were all fresh and the amount was generous! No skimping here. The sauce wasn't overly sweet, and the crust was the perfect thickness. Very solid pizza, and it's now on my go-to list while visiting Cedar Point. read more

I ordered online for delivery at a hotel in Sandusky. I gave my hotel address and my room #. I ordered a sub, fries, salad and a pizza. The delivery time quoted was over 45 minutes. I repair call and delivery driver, Kaitlyn G., asked if I was staying at a different hotel. I said no and told her where I was staying. More than 10 minutes later, she calls me and asks how she gets to the room, gave me an incorrect room number. Husband goes outside & finds her. I called in to ask for assistance to purchase a giftcard over the phone. I live out of state, and did not have all in the information required for ordering online for the person I was trying to surprise with some cameo pizza. The girl who answered the phone was as rude as can be. And she also did not know how to help. She put her manager on the phone who was even more rude than she was. Terrible customer service. We are from Central Ohio enjoying a few days on the lake and pizza sounded good. Cameos came highly recommended. We ordered 3 large pies. The order was available for curbside pick up when promised. The order was correct. So far so good! It was described as "all right" by some and "good" by others. No one thought it was great. Toppings were adequate. The crust was thin but it tasty. We arrived just after 4 PM to find the patio full. However, the wait staff was courteous and sat us inside with our service dog. It's a cute atmosphere with plenty of Cleveland Browns images to keep you occupied. Despite being swamped, we were able to order almost immediately and the pizza came out in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered the chicken Alfredo, Cameo Special, and Cheese Bread. I'm giving this place 2 stars for the fact that the pizza was very good and the man who took my order was lovely. However, my delivery experience was quite disappointing. First, the pizza was delivered as shown in the picture... Second, I ordered (and was charged) for dipping sauce, and before I even asked, the delivery guy said the sauce was in the box. So I tipped the guy nicely and he left. Then when I opened the box, I noticed the sauces were missing, but I was able to catch him while he was getting in his car. He offered to run back to the store no problem and said he'd be back in 10 minutes. (Typically Id say don't worry about it, but he insisted!) Then after almost 30 minutes of waiting... I called the store and received no answer. I understand Friday night pizza delivery can be crazy, but I don't think it's right to lie to a customer. Ok had to write up this place. Had spent all day at cedar point and was tired and starving and wanted pizza. Looked and saw this place was still opened, many places close at 9 and it was already 8:30. Easy to find and not too far from the park. The service was great and the place was quite busy for a Tuesday night. The pizza options were extensive. If you can't find a combination you like on the menu you can make your own. The regular crust is thin, but tasty. Excellent sauce and very good cheese. The key was however they cooked the crust, if you look it's charred on the bottom so it is not flimsy. We sat at a table and at first I thought nobody was going to help up. It turns out the waitress was training someone. The waitress ended being a really nice lady. We started out with the wing dings with ranch dressing. They weren't too bad, but we did have to spice them up with the chilli pepper. For our main course we got the zesty Mex.
