This location opened recently. It was a clean, nice atmosphere. Chilaquiles and barbacoa were good. Wish they had a drive thru!

It's located in a shopping center in the Stone Oak area with plenty of parking, even though we went late on a Friday night. The indoor dining was clean, spacious and enough tables to accommodate several parties. Live music for entertainment made for a relaxing time. The indoor lighting had a slight blue tint to provide more of a layback experience. The coconut shrimp appetizer was a good choice and very tasty. The Mojarra Chicharron, whole deep fried Tilapia, was not only delicious, but the presentation was perfect. Precut fried chunks placed on top of the fish made it easy to dip in the sauce and eat. Wifey went with the Pasado Del Rio, filet of Salmon, with lemon butter. It was well prepared and had a good blend of flavors. The prices were fair compared to other upscale seafood restaurants with entrees in the $20 range but also offer some Chef specials up to $75 for a shared meal. The service was adequate even though our server had a large table next to us. Others stepped in and picked up the slack, thus saving the night.

It's unique you order three items at a time from the menu and the server brings them out to you. I will say the timing felt slow. Since each dish comes out in smaller sample portions, we were constantly waiting between rounds while ordering. It was worth it the food was delicious and it was fun to chat with my guests and have a more relaxed meal. I loved being able to try a variety of things from the menu. The chicharrón ribeye was definitely my favorite! I also enjoyed the pina colada it came in a coconut and tasted great. Overall experience was fun and different I enjoyed the vibe of this location. Very laid back by the beach type of energy. I'd absolutely come back again to try more dishes.

My server seemed very inexperienced. I didn't even get his name because he didn't talk much at all. He checked on the only once. He didn't refill my water or ask if I wanted another margarita I had to flag down somebody else to get me to go container. The server was standing only about 2 feet away and was texting on his phone. then I asked him if I could close out and I paid on the handheld and he just walked off he didn't say anything like thanks for coming or anything like that. It was kind of like he was annoyed to be there. Sucks. Food was delicious though.

Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and a great way to try a variety of cuts. The lobster bisque was just as impressive; so rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The drinks were perfect!! we had a French 75 and an Old Fashioned, both expertly made and the perfect complement to the meal. On top of everything, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Definitely didn't expect a Monday night to turn into such a great dining experience. Both were very good. The avocado toast had a distinct lemon taste to it. The berry and goat cheese were excellent. The goat cheese, and the sweet berries made a great combination. For our main meals, we shared the eggs Benedict Trio, the Chilaquiles, the berry lemon croffle, and the banana foster French toast. The eggs Benedict Trio comes with a choice of three eggs Benedict from their menu. We had the original with Canadian bacon, the green chili pulled pork and the crabcake. Everyone loved the green chili pulled pork. The Chilaquiles came with your choice of red or green salsa. I chose the green one. It was a little spicy. It came with two eggs. I thought that it was missing some cheese. It could've also used a little bit more salsa. The banana foster French toast was to die for. Very good and definitely tastes like banana foster. The croffle was a great addition to our meal. We thought it was very good. Half of us had never had a croffle and now we are in love with them. They did give us a free desserts as we were celebrating my friend's birthday. For drinks I had the elderflower spritz. It's a little on the sweet side for me. The sangria was perfect. My friends had the bloody Mary and they liked them. They have inside and outside seating. They do take reservations. There's parking on site, but shared with the other businesses. The Waitress very nice. She was working the inside and the outside, But we never had an issue getting her attention or with any of our requests

I also highly recommend the fried dumplings, lovely warm comforting pillows of fried dough. It is togo only but well worth the drive. You will be wanting to pull over from the aroma in your car.

I am definitely going back for more. If it was served at a buffet, that would be the only thing I would eat. The only thing that I would change is the rice portion. It was too small of a serving. Maybe I'm fat. IDK, but I grew up eating rice every day. I needed more rice to finish my chicken. Clean facility, great customer service. Delicious food. My daughter had the kids chicken lo mein, she really enjoyed her food as well. Overall, this was our first time ordering take out from this location and we are happy to claim this as our go to Chinese takeout location. Best in town!!! Highly recommend!

Smashin Crab in Stone Oak is hands-down one of my favorite places in town…read more Is it expensive? Absolutely. This is not the place you go when you're trying to save money. But every time we go, I remember exactly why we keep coming back. The seafood is consistently great, the seasoning is on point, and those buckets disappear embarrassingly fast when they hit the table. I swear I have to remind myself to slow down because I practically inhale the food every time. One of my favorite parts of the experience is the margarita flight. It's a fun addition, lets you try different flavors, and pairs surprisingly well with all the seafood and spice. The service has always been solid, the atmosphere is lively, and the food never disappoints. It's definitely a splurge, but it's one of those places where I leave happy every single time. The crab was hard to break as the shells just kept bending and wouldn't crack. For the price, I have had better.
