Camino Coffee is one of Gilroy's newest jamz. Fresh BIG space, spinning vinyl, deelish coffee from Proyecto Diaz Coffee roasters (out of Oakland) along w/ baristas who add a personal touch and style to each drink and customer interaction. I had a double shot and it was pulled to perfection as well as my mom's decaf latte which made her birthday hang even more special. Thanks yall and I'm excited to visit again, try the legit looking syrups, and food as well as catch the vibes sitting inside.

I've been to countless coffee shops, but this is the first time I've been to one inside a gas station. Converted from the historic Monterey and 7th St. gas station, this spacious spot features both indoor and outdoor shaded seating. We came here after spending our Saturday at the Gilroy Outlets and it was quite busy. Our order: Latte ($5.25): +Drinkable temperature: Hot, but doesn't burn your mouth/tongue +Strong coffee balanced with creamy milk +Pretty latte art Hojicha Latte ($6.00): +Hojicha was roasty & nutty. +Not too sweet even at regular sweetness +No upcharge for no ice -Really gritty at the bottom Sakura Matcha ($6.50): +Matcha was strong and not gritty. +Not too sweet even at regular sweetness +No upcharge for no ice -I was really excited to try this since it featured chamomile and cherry blossom syrup, but unfortunately the flavors weren't there. It tasted like a regular matcha latte to me. Side notes: 1.) Sign up with your phone # to earn points: 20 points = 20% off entire sale (up to $20.00 off) 2.) Restroom available for customers. 3.) Free parking in their lot *Verdict: I loved the vibes and the shaded outdoor patio was nice. I wouldn't go out of my way, but if I was in the area I wouldn't mind stopping by again.

searched "matcha gilroy" on the way to Monterey, and Camino Coffee was the first spot to pop up with 4.5+ star reviews -- and I'm impressed! From the architecture, it looks like they repurposed an old gas station into a cafe, which is a unique and fun concept. second thing i noticed was that their prices are incredibly reasonable compared to some cafes back home, especially considering they use premium matcha. third, you know you're in for a treat when you see the baristas hand-sifting matcha with care. we ordered the iced matcha latte and the hojicha latte, and it's easy to see why they're among the most popular items. 10's across the board for the color, texture, richness and flavor it's located right by downtown gilroy if you're passing through and want to check out a local gem.

I stopped by here for a cup of coffee and have returned and tried several different coffees since then. I still haven't tried one that is my go to but I continue exploring their coffee drinks. Service is fine. I enjoy buying the concha cookies from a local small business here. On my first visit I didn't know you could park in the back since there was limited parking within the building. The space inside is spacious and a great place to do some work.

Besides the awful interaction with one employee, I really like this cafe. It has charm and good coffee. I feel it can be inconsistent, sometimes more bold than others but it's ok as pricing is still fair. Inside has comfortable seating, a lot of cafes cheap out with metal stools, they do not here! As for the employee that took our order. No greeting, no smile, and worst of all, no thank you after payment. He was wearing a Santa Cruz brown sweater, was grumpy and should not be interacting with customers. Everyone else who we have interacted with has been great.

We ordered an almond croissant, a cappuccino, and a latte--and honestly, everything hit the spot. The croissant was flaky and not too sweet, and both coffee drinks were smooth and well-made. You can tell they care about quality here. It's the kind of cafe that feels like a local favorite--somewhere you'd go to read, catch up with a friend, or just take a breather. We were just passing through, but it left a great impression. If you're driving through Gilroy and need a break, skip the chain coffee shops and swing by Camino. It's a simple, solid coffee stop that feels like a hidden gem.

Real cute vibey place. I ordered the mocha with oat milk. I prefer coconut milk, but they did not offer that. I believe they have oat, almond, macadamia nut, and I forgot if I heard soy.

I came here mainly to try to find some good matcha in the area. I ordered the strawberry it was good, however was very over priced in my opinion. The vibe was cute inside and seen some people working while drinking their coffee. If you're looking for good matcha and don't mind paying more money for it I'd recommend.

Cute little cafe that has a solid regular menu and nice seasonal options. I got their seasonal hojicha latte and it was incredible. We also tried their ham and cheese croissant and holy hell that tasted insanely good. This is definitely a spot that if I was even slightly close to id be here all the time

Absolutely love the design and atmosphere of this coffee shop! I stop by almost every week since I'm particular about my coffee, and I've always enjoyed the service and quality beans they use. Ordered a mocha latte in-house today--it was ready in minutes, hot, and had the perfect balance of sweetness (I'm not a fan of overly chocolatey ones). Highly recommend this spot for a quick coffee or a calm, well-lit place to get work done. I also love that they actually play records for their music.

I've visited this coffee shop a few times, and what I love the most about it is the vibe. It is a renovated gas station, and every time I come here the people are so friendly. They have a record player in the corner where the employees play from their own collections. It seems like a great spot to sit and enjoy a coffee while working. The coffee itself is very good. Last time I went I ordered the seasonal special miso caramel latte with housemade macadamia nut milk. The flavor was very subtle, I don't think I would get it again. One thing to note about this place is that they only serve one size of drink (depending on what the drink is). Sometimes you want an extra large cup of coffee to last you the entire day, but Camino doesn't serve large cups. They do serve some tasty looking pastries, but unfortunately nothing gluten-free so I couldn't try one. I'd come here again when I'm feeling like a small coffee will be enough!

A cute spot that is a renovated gas station across the street from the Gilroy Caltrain station. We had a great time and a good pit stop on our way to southern CA, clean updated bathroom doggy friendly seating and covered outdoor seating. We ordered two teas a hibiscus mint and white loose tea.

The coffee and special drinks are great (have tried lattes, mochas, and the guava sparkly black iced tea). I also really enjoyed the earl grey blueberry scone. Sometimes it's a bit of a wait during busy times but the workers are all getting things out as fast as they can. Glad to support a small local business. read more

I just did another review in which I'm pretty much going to say the same thing. Just got back from an 8,000 mile road trip. What I learned is that there are espresso drinks and then there is espresso. Most coffee places do not know how to pull shots so when you find one you gotta support them. Amyway, my very long point is, these guys know how to pull shots. It's not called artisan coffee for nothing. The batistas are nice and know their stuff. Camino Coffee also turned what i thought was an eyesore into a nice bright place to have coffee. Its in a good location by the bus/ Caltrain station so people can grab a cup on their way to work. read more

This little café is a nice place to just meet up or do some school work. Not many coffee options, but what we had was pretty good. They do have some pastry options which both pastries that we got were amazing and freshly made. Downside, you have to park across the street at the Vta station. read more

I was excited about this new coffee place but it was not what I expected. Parking was not ideal, you had to park across the street. Their system is also not the best. We ordered our coffee and waited 20 minutes. We heard them call out multiple names except ours (Keep in mind we sat right in front of the counter where they called out everyone's names). We noticed a coffee sitting on the counter and asked if it was ours. They didn't even know who it was supposed to be for. Other people I know have also not had a great experience. The menu is also very bland. The only positives are they had good service at the register, cute designs on the coffee, and cute cookies. read more

If you were in the Gilroy area, highly recommend getting their coffee! My go to drink is an Horchata coffee! Everyone is helpful when it comes to selecting drinks, which I highly appreciate. I will also like to add that they have a food truck on certain days and their food is delicious. I have tried everything on their menu and recommend each and every single dish. read more

Parking - When I pulled up, there's no parking available directly on their property so you will have to park somewhere across the street. Seating - They have plenty of seating area inside to accommodate about 50 people or so at max. Coffee - The coffee tastes premium. It never tasted burnt or too bitter and went down smooth. Ambiance - They play music from a record player from a small collection of records they have in the corner. I think this is a nice touch instead of playing music from a streaming service. They let their customers choose a record. read more

Stopped here on the way home from a road trip. This coffee shop is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. Camino Coffee is a delightful addition to Gilroy! The baristas are incredibly friendly and provided great service. Whether you prefer a strong, bold espresso, or something fancier, Camino has you covered. My personal favorite was the almond milk vanilla latte - delicious and perfect foam! Great decor - welcoming, cool retro vibe and love the turntable with a ton of vinyl choices! Option to purchase fun Camino Coffee merchandise and coffee beans as well. So happy to see Gilroy opening new places. I was recommended here and I am so glad we tried it. They were starting to close but we made it just in time to order coffee. I asked for a recommendation for ice cold brew and it was the pistachio cold brew and it was good! I will be coming in again during their open hours to hang out inside since it's very cool and modern. read more

This coffee shop has been on my list to stop by when in the area. I was waiting for my turn to get a hair trim across the street. So I figure today is the day. Order 3 drinks that took over 20 minutes wait. On top of it a refresher came out as hot tea? I had to question is a refresher a cold drink? So it was a mistake, I get it. But not sure if I got great customer service today. There were two ladies behind the counter. No other orders were in line. I'm not sure if I will be going back anytime soon for an ok latte and more than normal wait time. read more

Amazingly delicious coffee! A true Barista experience. Our town is full of Starbucks, but the independent coffee houses are so much better Camino coffee is new to our town and planning many great things! give it a try. They are now open on Sundays and have expanded hours more than what it says here on yelp.! I am sorry I didn't take a picture either time I've been there, but I had the lavender honey cappuccino and it's the type of thing I will dream about! read more

Rode up on my motorcycle there was ample parking. Walked in....very nice decor. When i looked at the menu it said Latte for $4.50, I ordered a lavender latte but the charge came up at $6.10. I wish that the prices were posted more correctly. Then when I got my latte, there was no lavender flavor whatsoever but this is a brand new place with start up pains. I give it four stars I'm sure the hiccups be corrected. read more

What a cool spot! I'm so excited for this place. Off the bat, the espresso & coffee is amazing, the pastries are delicious, the staff is friendly and you can tell they're happy to be there. Everything about our experiences have put a smile on my face. Cannot wait to go back! I really like the communal feel this business has. Variety of seating areas perfect for people working, group meetups, or friends hanging out. The space is crisp, clean and bright. They have a unique record playing area for their music, and they're pretty tuned into it which is neat - like, they skipped a song and swapped out the record during one of our trips there. I like that they didn't just set it and forget it. So far I've tried their iced vanilla latte, regular iced latte, orange and cardamom iced latte, cold brew, seasonal pastry with orange marmalade, and coffee cake. It was all so good, even the things I was a little hesitant about, like the orange and cardamom iced latte. I don't know what they have planned for the outside area surrounding their building, but I immediately thought, "how cool would it be if they hosted yoga classes (think Santana row Lululemon Saturday am yoga classes outside), painting classes, food trucks, live music, farmer markets... in this open air space!" read more

Really cool place, I live nearby and barely visited lol. I ordered a chocolate croissant and an iced matcha and they are pretty good. I will be back to try out the seasonal drinks too. I was instantly greeted when I walked and the cashier was friendly. although I wish the music volume was a bit lower, but overall it's a nice small place with plenty of sitting:) read more

Pro: The coffee was good. I got a vanilla latte and some cookies they had. The latte was a little sweet for my liking but good. The price was also fair. Con: Someone working there was handing out some type of card/flyer to everyone. She looked at the person I was with and me and completely ignored and skipped us. BRUTALLY HONEST REVIEW Five stars means I would come all the time if I could - first specialty coffee shop in gilroy. The iced matcha latte is excellent! I got it how the cashier said she liked it with a just a touch of honey and I got oat milk, it was delicious. Very matcha forward and not overpowered by sweetness or the milk. The vibe inside is nice, a little bit too minimalist for my taste but it's not gonna stop me from coming by any means.
