HIGH QUALITY-QUALITY- QUALITY !!! BEST DOG DAY CARE IN THE DFW area!!! TOP NOTCH ! We had our dog Ranger boarded for the holiday weekend and he regularly attends day camp and has boarded here before. I can't say enough about the QUALITY of care Ranger receives when attending camp and when boarding. Ranger gets sooo excited in the car on our way to camp - he knows where we are going and is eager to get there to play. When you walk in to Camp Bow-Wow there isn't that kennel smell and the place is always immaculate!! The employees know Ranger when he walks in, and his tail is wagging like crazy. I am confident in knowing that their employees truly care about him and his well being. I also recognize the regular employees such as Garrett, Sierra and Kara, and am grateful that Ranger sees faces he is familiar with. To me, if the employees love their job and enjoy going to work, they are going to take good care of my dog and that is the case here. There was a time when we left him to board and I forgot his food and they made sure he had proper food and looked after him to make sure he didn't have any reactions! WOW!!! i have watched him on the cams and employees are engaged with all the dogs and do their best to keep all dogs safe by grouping dogs by size. Ranger is a small dog, and I am so glad that they do NOT allow big dogs to mingle with the smaller dogs - I know my Ranger is safe and gets plenty of play time with dogs of his own size. I know he gets plenty of time to play and rest. We picked him up yesterday - Tuesday and he slept all night. I see where, a previous reviewer said they keep them in wire crates - that statement is incorrect!!! The cabins are VERY roomy and have polymer sides - NOT wire - and the gate is a heavy metal gauge so the dogs can see out of the front . That is what I saw when I received my tour and what I see when I pick up Ranger. One time Ranger got into a little "scuffle" and I received a report on what happened and how the situation was handled. The procedures they have in place at Camp Bow Wow are in place to protect ALL dogs. It reminds me of the reports I would get from my child's daycare. Ranger will continue to be a camper and board at Camp Bow-Wow - I want him to have the BEST camp experience and to feel loved and safe. Amy and Linda do a fantastic job and I have complete confidence and trust in them and their employees - they know what is best for Ranger when he is there! I found Camp Bow Wow back in July when I got my pointer puppy, Morty. I wanted a good training program as well as occasional daycare/boarding. We just finished Level 1 there with the trainer, Tracy and I absolutely love the program! Training is held in intimate classes over 6 weeks, and there are multiple levels to advance good behavior and skills. Tracy works great with every dog and every owner, and we are going to complete all three levels and the tricks class! This past week I had to go out of town and wanted to board Morty for three nights. Even though I technically was only part of the training-clientelle they went ahead and reserved my spot ahead of time. It was so nice of them! We arranged a complimentary daycare trial to make sure Morty would do well while I was away, and Linda the manager handled everything. She was so warm and friendly and took the time to explain everything to me. I felt so comfortable, and Morty had a blast! While boarding, I loved watching Morty on the cameras through their website and app. I also was estatic that they gave me a folder with information regarding exactly how the boarding/daycare schedule worked and what all it entailed. They also included educational papers about canine cough and bloat. I work at a vets office and was so pleased to find Camp Bow Wow as educational and passionate about these common issues. Morty also recieved private training sessions while I was away. Tracy took the time to video each session and e-mail me a summary. I loved the extra care and time she took to do that, and you can definitely see a difference in Morty's behavior after she worked with him one on one! I cannot say enough good words about Camp Bow Wow and it's team. I intend to go here for the entirety of Morty's life! read more

Linda, Amy and staff are the best ever!!!! My dog Maggie was the first camper at Camp Bow Wow when it opened, so needless to say she is really spoiled when going in. I rescued a dog about 3 years ago and now both are going into the camp. The staff is so concerned about every detail of the dog. I have boarded them for a week at a time and enjoy being able to watch the Camper Cams to see what they are up to. I trust everyone at the camp and know that all the dogs medications will be given at the appropriate times and etc. When picking up the dogs from boarding they had their "baths" and are ready to go home and sleep for a day or so after all the activity at the camp. As an example one morning while dropping the dogs off I mentioned that my German Shepherd was shaking her head and looked like something bit her in the ear as it was all swollen. They called me about an hour later and said they will take her into the Vet as they thought she should be checked out. Thank goodness they did as she had a hematoma in her ear and it required draining and etc. I recommend the Camp to anyone that needs to board their dogs. You never have to worry (period). I'm relocating to Houston and the saddest part is leaving Camp Bow Wow Coppell. That should tell you everything you need to know. My 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Kingston, has been going here since he was one year old. My dog means the world to me, and I am incredibly PICKY about who I leave him with. I have 100% confidence in the owners, Linda & Amy. They love my dog like he is their own. The web cam is a great perk and it really gives me extra confidence to know I can login and check on my dog during daycare hours. Kingston starts barking as soon as we pull into the Camp Bow Wow parking lot in the mornings. He literally can't wait to go inside and play with his friends. When I pick him up in the evenings, he can barely keep his eyes open from playing so hard all day. It makes me feel great to know he's having fun and being cared for while I'm at work. We'll have to find a new daycare in Houston, but I'm certain no one will be as wonderful and perfect as Camp Bow Wow Coppell. If you're considering a daycare facility for your pet, give this one a try. You'll be happy you did! read more

I am writing this to sing the praises of Camp Bow Wow, this past weekend they went above and beyond! After dropping off my 3 year old Boston Terrier and 8 month old French Bulldog, the owner Chuck called me after an hour or so and informed me that they were concerned that my 8 month old French Bulldog, Decker, was ill and would not hold down anything! Decker is constantly chewing anything he can find in the back yard and had already made a trip to the emergency vet 1 month prior for swallowing a Nyla bone. I noticed he was chewing a small piece of wood which I scolded him did not think a thing about it and dropped him off. Chuck offered to take him to emergency vet and did so as well as stayed with him the entire time and reported to me constantly. The outcome was that the X-ray showed nothing, so the vet suggested a few options finally deciding on treating nausea, Chuck brought him back and moved he and Bentley into a Suite so that I could check on him through camera through out the night! Our somewhat hyper jumping Aussie / Choc. Lab LOVES Camp Bo Wow!!! A s we turn in by Sonic, he perks up and begins his deep throat talking to me, like he does when we go to the Dog Park! He also talks like this when we come home and he's happy to see us, so I know he has to be enjoying himself at Camp. 8) He has been there for as long as two weeks for boarding and for daycare many times and he comes home happy & tired every time. The staff is excellent and they take great care of him!! It's obvious they are serious and sincere about taking care of that special member of your family. They also have webcams so you can check on your buddy. We have tried a few other facilities so that we would have a backup and their care falls short when compared to Camp Bow Wow. It's a great place all around and their free seasonal pet pics with Santa and for Halloween are a hoot and such a special touch!! Just had to take time to write about Camp Bow Wow in Coppell, Texas. Having researched, visited and tried a number of doggie daycare locations, I am entirely impressed with Camp Bow Wow. The owners, Linda and Amy, alongside Ashley, Lynn and the other great staff, are gems. Each truly loves dogs - and it shows. And, I believe the business is their passion - not just a way to make a quick buck. The facilities are spotless, the camper sleeper and play areas are spacious and the entire operation is incredibly well organized. The camp's differentiator is that people are actually in the areas with the dogs the entire time. They don't just say this - they mean it. And, the camp offers great webcams that allow you to clearly view your camper during the day. But the proof is in how excited Parker gets when he jumps out of the car and heads to the front door. I would recommend this doggy daycare to anyone who truly loves their pet and wants them to have the very best care and attention. read more

We have been using Camp Bow WOW!!!. since 2013. They are friendly, loving, caring, and provide all the hugs and kisses your 4 leggers need when you are not there to provide it. This is not just for young active dogs either, dogs of all ages are loved here. Our babies are 10+ and one suffers from separation anxiety, they are loved, pet and comforted at Camp Bow WOW!!!... If you are looking for a place where you know your pet will be loved on, protected, and safe, this is it. The people who run this camp are great people who continually try to find ways to be better in anything they do (I don't know how they can get better). They get your dog's personality and the owners (which may require more work than the dog). They are honest, truthful and truly care. They also care about their community and the people in it. I don't care if this sounds sappy but they have been a blessing in many ways for Charlie and I. We love the friendly staff that are ALWAYS happy to see Carli, our Golden Retriever, and want to take good care of her. We are "newbies" at Camp Bow Wow, so we are just learning how everything works and who-is-who. We have only been there a few times, but EVERYONE has gone out of their way to be friendly to us and happy to see Carli. That means a ton to dog owners. Carli loves daycare at Camp Bow and a real perk is that they offer baths upon your request for a nominal fee. Carli came home today smelling wonderful and looking beautiful after a fun day of play. I love this place! Amy and her team have been nothing but caring and professional. We have 2 small dogs that are our 'kidlettes' so to speak. We walked through many boarding operations when we were deciding and Camp Bow Wow Coppell stood out clearly. Also, since we travel a lot, the convenience of being close to the airport is great and while we travel we can check in via the camper cams. I counted down the days until our Golden Retriver puppy, Logan, was old enough to take him to Camp Bow Wow and he loves it! He knows when we are in the parking lot and can recognize it when we drive up. I hardly have time to turn the car off before he is jumping into position to be let out of the car. Once out, he runs to the front door! The staff has welcomed him like he is their own. Everyone, from Amy to Ashley, has made him feel so at home. I have an ancient blind poodle mix who loves to go to camp. She has been trained to locate the doggy door (yes, the blind dog goes outside on her own!), her water, and has a doggie friend in LuLu who walks and sleeps with her. My little old lady is safe during the day and gets some stimulation and attention. Previously I had another ancient dog who also did well there. The staff is always courteous and cordial who have cared for my pets. This place was a great find! read more

The process to get started was very easy. All my questions were answered and the very next day was interview day, which involved minimal paperwork and a quick drop off process -- great for those heading to work. The online cameras didn't work for me because I didn't have the right plugin, but I was still able to get a few still shots of our dog playing and lounging in the shade throughout the day. We've been taking our two miniature Schnauzers to Camp Bow Wow for years. As soon as we're within 1/2 a mile of the facility, they start going crazy in the car because THEY KNOW where they are going...to a paradise of non-stop play and meeting new friends. I have taken my dogs and foster dogs to CBW Coppell for nearly 9 years since the very opening. I have never seen an establishment that cares for their customers and dogs as much they do. My dogs have always loved camp and I know that my dogs are always getting the very best of care. Everyone is personable and they always know the dogs names upon entry. Camp Bow Wow in Coppell is FANTASTIC!!! They love your pets as much as you do. They are so sweet and gentle with them. They love on them and make them and you feel welcomed and appreciated everytime you come in. I cannot say enough good things about everyone that works there. Tried a couple of other boarding places, but Camp Bow Wow in Coppell is the best. They truly love dogs and makes us feel like our babies are being well cared for at a reasonable price. Some places trick you into adding on fees for additional services like doggie day camp, but Camp Bow Wow is one price for everything. We will rest assured our puppies are in good hands and have no problem leaving them with the friendly staff at Camp Bow Wow. read more

This place is one of a kind! The ENTIRE staff is fantastic! The owners are there in the morning, and are clearly dog lovers! They care about the safety of the dogs and love them as their own.
