After a few minutes she gave me my biscuit and I told her she should really not talk bad about her customers when they are within an area where they can hear you. She apologized and tried to reassure me the reason why she was trying to get me to go with the other menu option. I told here I looked over the whole menu and that is what I wanted and how I wanted it. She understood and walked away. After a while my food came and it was all that I ordered except.....the chile. Not writing things down with usually result in a mistake of forgetting something. My waitress came by to fill up my coffee, more creamer and never said anything about forgetting my side of chile. After I was done she got me my ticket and then let me know she appreciated me saying something to her and setting her straight. The bacon has the perfect crisp with a sweet maple flavor without sacrificing the crunchy texture and it all melts in your mouth perfectly. I loved it so much that I had to go back for seconds. I can say the same for the country potatoes, although in the catering serving trays, it maintained its crispy outside texture while still fluffy inside and seasoned to perfection. You can pay an extra $10 for the carving station which has prime rib. The view is breathtaking and I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
