Recently ate at Camp Rubirosa. The service was excellent, and the food came out very fast and efficiently. Are reservation was on the earlier side, so the crowd was alot more families and children. We were very excited to visit Camp Rubirosa, we had been trying to get a reservation all summer and finally did on Labor Day. The ambiance is nice, the patio area is charming and the indoor area looked nice too. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. We all agreed we will skip CR and eat at Sag Pizza, TBar for their pizza or get a pie to go at Fini before we'd return to CR. The tie dye pizza was flavorless, shockingly flavorless. The arugula salad was delicious and as some other reviewers mentioned, the prices are ridiculous. Mocktails for $18 and flavorless pizza pie for $35. Our server wasn't pleasant, in fact he was downright rude and maybe it's been a long summer but c'mon, just be nice, we felt uncomfortable asking for tap water, gimme a break. This still or sparkling nonsense and the look of derision when you ask for tap water is just rude. We really wanted to like this place but it's just another overpriced and overhyped place to eat. read more

Came here on a Sunday without a reservation and was able to grab a seat at the bar around 5 pm. Pop-ups like this one are always so interesting to me because the place really looks and feels like their city location but with a fun campy vibe - they did a great job decorating. Our bartender greeted us and welcomed us in. He told us he'd been working at the NYC location for the past five years, so we felt like we were in good hands. Prices on this menu are a bit higher than the NYC location, but that's to be expected. I was a little bummed to find that there aren't two different sizes of pizza offered here, but I guess it makes sense given this is just a pop up that one size would streamline things considerably. We ordered the Tie Dye pizza and the vodka pasta. Both were delicious and (if I'm being honest) the vodka sauce here is a little bit better than the city (which the bartender noted as well). If you're craving quality pizza and pasta while you're out in the Hamptons this summer, this place will give you that fix. read more

Great pop up for the summer. We'd experienced a couple other locations (NYC, Aspen) and the Camp location is just as fun with a great theme and quality food. Portions are very large. Pizza is fantastic. Service keeps in line with what you'd expect from a Rubirosa offering. read more

The hamptons are very difficult places for restaurants. Camp Rubirosa is a decent pizza restaurant. The problem is it is outrageously over priced. The portions are minuscule. But priceed like you are eating at a 5 star nyc restaurant. Drinks are so expensive. $31 for a martini. And a small one at that. Just adds insult to the injury when you get the check. The tables are small so it makes relaxing difficult. When you pay the bill you are asked for a min 20% tip. Sometimes it is hard to swallow along with the other cheap shots they hit you with. read more

Good option for a big group and a lot of sharing! We got the rubirosa salad, cacio e pepe, vodka pasta, tie dye pizza, classic pizza, rubirosa supreme pizza, mozzarella sticks, and eggplant parmesan. We really liked everything except for the eggplant parmesan. I don't know if something went wrong with it or what, but they ended up taking it off the bill. Super disappointed. Huge fans of rubirosa in manhattan and this was a major let down. Service was bad, drinks were awful (and $30), pizza came out cold. Was excited to try some of the gluten free options they have in manhattan but apparently not an option here which was a shame...Several people in our group had to go to bar and ask to have their drinks remade, which for the insane price should not happen. BEST calamari we've ever had! We were very surprised and wished we had gotten another order of it. The meatball spaghetti entree for family size was ~$65 (because of the addition of the 3 or 4 large meatballs) which was a little ridiculous, but the dish was good. We also got 2 pizzas and the portions were enough for 4 adults. Passed on the desserts, but overall a really good meal and we loved the atmosphere. Go early in the evening if you have kids (definitely one of the more kid friendly places around), but if not, then get that later reservation and I'm sure the place will be even more fun. read more

wow this restaurant was amazing our server alesha was great and the service overall was incredible. the food came out so fast and we were served really fast as well. the food was so amazing especially for the hamptons as at the last couple places we have been the service there was awful but here it was great. we had a couple different things which were all amazing and very flavorful. the vodka pasta, tye die pizza, ceaser salad, and mozzarella sticks were sooo good as well as the rest of the stuff we got. The ambiance was great too and the camp vibe was really nice. overall this place was great ESPECIALLY for a place in the hamptons!!!! read more
