We stopped here to grab some pizza late day - what an excellent choice for a gluten-free, cauliflower-crust personal pizza! The service was friendly and prompt and the pizza crust had the exact right amount of crunch, yet was nice and thin. I recommend the margarita (I added onions). The basil and garlic it was prepared with took this to a next level of gourmet pizza. Yum!! Very casual atmosphere, great for kids. Outdoor seating in front. We will definitely be back! A quick stop in for dinner to bring to eat at the beach. We got a Hawaiian and a pepperoni and sausage. Service was quick, pizza was ready in 25 minutes. Good crust, nice chew. On the Hawaiian, the downside was the pineapple was canned! Fresh pineapple and this pizza would've been great. The sausage was good, appreciate the slices vs the typical crumbles. Picked up pizza from here probably twice this summer. But have been eating here for years. Some of the best pizza in the hamptons for sure. Tastes like a NY Slice and never disappoints. The takeout is quick, never really eat here as they are off the highway and location is kind of inconvenient from where we live. Simply the BEST PERFECT PIZZA! Crust is tender and flavorful. Mushroom pizza is my fave!!!! Fresh yummy shrooms. Sauce is perfect balance of herbs and tomato. If you're looking for a solid slice of NY pizza this is your spot! In the Hamptons it can be hard to find a classic slice, but this spot nails it. They offer Vegan cheese for my non-dairy folks and it actually melts and is incredible. The garlic knots deserve an honorable mention, they are soft and garlicky and a must grab when going. My man loves the Sicilian slice from here and they will customize it with toppings if you ask. It's a casual eatery so no need to dress up, stop by for a slice or order a whole pie to go you won't be disappointed! read more

If you live in East Hampton village or the surrounding towns (especially year round) then you already know full well that while we have some wonderful restaurants in the area, the delivery situation is a far cry from any major city and even many suburban or rural areas. About a month ago, that changed ever so slightly when La Capannina finally added delivery via the Slice app! Already the best option for take out pizza around us, delivery was the only thing I was missing and now the day is here. Their little outpost on 27 was always packed for pickup since the start of COVID and they don't have a website, so them adding an updated menu and delivery ability on slice is huge. The Sicilian and grandma pie are killer (and perhaps moderately artery closing), standard pies and toppings are reliable (try the meatball!) and I've got a calzone sitting in my fridge for lunch tomorrow that looks divine. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable and there's always some extra in the freezer for later - glad to see them doing well in this crazy time, keep it up! read more

Hands down the best pizza out here in the hamps! Was Enroute to EH and saw this place. Stopped in on my way back for a slice and man am I happy I did! The dough was perfectly cooped and had the right amount of salty sweetness and as for sauce to cheese ratio- mama Mia! Absolute bliss! For $3.00 you can't beat that out here! It is also an excellent place to have chicken francese, and a host of other Italian dishes ( either to eat there or to take out to enjoy it at home). I love coming here to eat. They have so many different pizza and it's all good. I especially love the spinach one and their garlic knots. The people there are so nice. We live about 5 minutes from this place and are super happy that we have a solid go-to pizza spot. After trying a few of the other pizzerias in the area, this is the one that we always go to for a quick and cheap meal. The price is great and the pizza is consistently solid quality. Our favorites have been the grandma pie, sicilian, or our fave--the meatball. The only trick to this is this--make sure you order the pie WELL DONE. It is a game changer, trust me. Solid option for pizza in the area. We ordered takeout, was ready quick and prices were fair. 1 large pepperoni and a dozen classic wings was $30, not bad! The wings were surprisingly delicious. Not overly breaded, nice and crispy with a good buffalo sauce ratio. They have a good size parking lot, not a ton of seating inside. Consistently tasty food prepared by a friendly staff makes this Wainscott joint worth driving to if you're living between Bridge and East.... In this waters opinion they offer a product superior to World Pie and the blank that I'm drawing for pizza in East Hampton. Surprisingly good Penne alla vodka (yup, you read that correctly) and decent pizza provide no frills options for a range of palates. That said, ambience is not their calling card, unless the view of Home Goods and The Post Office work for you. For take out, they deliver! I'll be back again soon. read more

They do a really good job. Pizza is ready when they say it will be. It's warm and fresh. Tastes good. Well priced - especially for the neighborhood. The garlic pie is our favorite. Who knew garlic was so delicious? Close enough to the beach that it'll still be steaming by the time you set up your chair. Use tin foil to keep the sand off rather than paper plates. You can pick up a handy dandy foldable beach table at the hardware store down the road. My wife got me one for Father's Day. Varsity move. Pls don't feed it to the sea gulls. It's too delicious, and you'll be ruining it for all of us if they can identify the Capannina boxes as the good stuff. read more

Been stopping at this place for lunch, well, 20 years now. Always consistent. Good NY-style pizza. 2 slices and a Pepsi were $5.00 in the 2000's. Nowadays, just as good, and I usually buy a 1/2 plain, 1/2 meatball pizza. Their garden salads are also excellent and fresh. The place looks a little outdated. Don't let it bother you. Probably one of the best and reasonable pizza places on eastern Long Island. read more

The best place we've eaten in the Hamptons thus far. I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of choices, so I ordered entirely too much. The chicken parm over pasta is delicious, always a big serving of chicken, the chicken parm hero is also as good. The pizza is the best around! This local establishment has been around for many years. It draws a great lunch crowd due to workers stopping in due to it's location. We have been noticing for months now The pizza slices no matter what you order, are getting thinner and thinner and thinner. They have been cutting back on everything for quite a while and it is very apparent to everyone that I bring in . We used to avoid the local pizzeria 's like pepperoni's and Fierro's and would drive to Wainscott to get a very delicious full heavy pizza. That is no more. Most of the locals are talking and that's all it takes. I know they are from up island somewhere . But they are short changing us for sure. They have changed!! I will no longer recommend them. And this has not gone unnoticed by the owner of Pepperoni's who has doubled the size of his pizzas and toppings.I hope these people/owners who are probably from Middle Island wading River area wise up soon. Winter is coming and we don't forget. Just sayin! My opinion, But anyone can see the pizza slices a razor thin. Good luck read more

This place is great. If ever tourung or just driving around this area of Suffolk County do yourself a favor and stop here to eat. The menu is varied and all is made fresh on the premises. The puzzas are delicious with crispy bottoms and all. I recommend the Margarita (personal fave), my son loves the meats specialty and my husband likes the mushrooms. We got Gramps to eat eggplant on his pizza...that tells you its goid. The decor is simple, straight up pizza joint with restrooms in the rear outside of dtore. There are way too many vacant stores and closed restaurants! That being said I finally made it to Cluckmans on a beautiful September day about 1PM. There's a beautiful park with picnic tables adjacent to the parking lot that overlooks the harbor. The restaurant was not busy as I walked right up to order. The place is clean and well organized with about 8 tables and a condiment counter with free ketchup, mayo, mustard,ranch and honey mustard. Since it's my first visit I ordered the Traditional Chicken Sandwich and Hand cut fries. Service was quick but the sandwich is way too big for the small bun, there was way too much Thousand Island dressing and it was spilling out all over the wrapper! I took the sandwich apart and wiped away as much of the dressing and ate the chicken and avocado separately! It was actually pretty good! The fries were a very generous sized sack but they obviously had been sitting for a while because they were not crisp, very soggy and oily! I would like to give them another try but I would definitely think about a larger bun and ease up on the dressing! I wish them good luck!
