Great customer service. Estimator arrived right on time. Prices were competitive, install was quick (door was in stock) and efficient. Wish the worker had cleaned up better. When I asked the installer if to please clean up; Sheetrock dust all over garage door sensors and floor, metal shavings scattered throughout garage, screws and nuts scattered in driveway , he said "that's why we tell you to wear shoes". Hmmm...seemed like a poor response. I swept and vacuumed the floor. We have dogs and I routinely walk outdoors without shoes. Campbell Overhead Door installed my new CHI garage door and a new Lift master opener in December 2024 and they did a wonderful job. Justin gave us a very reasonable estimate for a style we liked and we waited for 6 weeks for it. Francisco and Kevin came on time and finished the installation in a few hours without any delay. They also replaced the old wooden trimming around the garage door, making my garage door appearance looking even nicer. There were patient and courteous. Recently the myQ mobile app suddenly was not able to connect and control LiftMaster opener on my phone and while trying to fix it ourselves we ended up breaking the system and could not even open the garage door with the wall unit or our remote control devices. We've had two doors replaced by Campbell Overhead at different houses in the past 35 years. They've done such a great job in the past that I knew who to call when my spring broke last week! I also decided to replace the motor to one that has battery back-up in the event of a power outage (we've had several outages recently and the battery makes it easier for us us we get older.) The new DC motor is very quiet and is much gentler on the garage door. It comes with WiFi and a host of routines that can be programmed. We also had an external keypad installed so we could open/close the door on our hikes/runs. Such a convenience! Jorge the installer is friendly, skilled, and quick. I hired Campbell Overhead to install a new garage opener (I wanted the WIFI feature) and they came out promptly to install it. Less than a month later the door wouldn't shut. They came back out quickly to fix it. The repair man, George, said it was defective and replaced the entire unit & I didn't have to pay since it was under warranty too! He was excellent and very customer service oriented. Today I had some issues setting up the WIFI connection & he helped me over text. I was able to figure it out! I was stressed because last night someone broke into my garage. Now I have peace of mind that my app will alert me if it's open. Now I can sleep at night (not easy being a single woman figuring this stuff out lol.) A big thanks to George! The Best Service! I used these guys twice recently. Once was to replace the belt on my moms garage door opener. Jorge did an awesome job! Super efficient and super polite. A true gentleman that did excellent work. He was finished in a couple of hours and now my mom's garage door opens just beautifully! Kevin came last year and installed a Linear Garage Door Opener in my garage. He was polite, courteous and helpful in making sure I was comfortable with the set up. While he was here I decided to install a belt drive motor unit. He had one in his truck and removed the old motor and installed the new. I had this company come out to replace the tension rod to my garage door a few months ago. I noticed a gap has developed on the left side. I had them come out again to look at it. And the 2 techs told me that it was because my floor is uneven. I knew that was a LIE. And they wanted to charge me $200 to replace the weather strip and the gap will magically go away. That was another LIE. Instead of them taking responsibility for their poor installation of the rods. They wanted to charge me a fee for something that would not work! I called another company out for their opinion and the new tech assured me that they were misleading me. Nothing was wrong with the weather strip. And the gap was caused by Campbell incorrectly installing the tension rod because it was too tight which made the door hang from the rod. I was able to get it fixed with the new company. My garage door cable came loose with the door stuck open, and I made things worse while manually getting the door closed by messing with things myself (gave it a shot). James was the best. He went above and beyond what was expected of him. He called about 15 minutes before arriving. He got things fixed in less than an hour (maintenance tune up, reset travel limits, adjusted safety eyes, reset cables, spring torsion system). He even offered to vacuum the spider webs around the garage door if I had a hand vacuum available (which I did). Now my garage door is fixed, and I can put my precious car back in there. I booked a 2-hour window the following morning & he let me know that George will be our technician. George arrived within the 2-hour window & explained the work to be done as well as the cost. He had the part in his truck & got right to work. Took about 90 minutes & included lubricating the rollers. Additionally, George programmed my garage door opener since the trolley was hitting the backstop screw when opening & exerting excess force on the rail when closing since it wasn't dialed in when I replaced the motor myself a few years earlier. George didn't have to do this but it was much appreciated & he didn't charge me any extra for the time he spent making my opener work more efficiently. I am so losing my patience with Campbell Overhead Door. I purchased my garage door and motor a few years back from them. It has been working great and no complaints whatever until now... I called them two weeks ago asking if they can help replace the bottom rail of my garage door since it was broken. I also wanted help to see if they can replace the windows decor design of the garage door. Someone came over a few days after my call and the gentleman was very helpful and professional. He checked the broken rail and also the windows design I wanted to change. Everything was written down an a piece of paper and I was promised a call back to discuss further and a quote. A week passed and I recieved no call backs or email. I decided to give them a call to get an update. In my head, they could been busy which I can understand.. I spoke with a lady on the phone and she mentioned that the owner was going to check and call me back. After a week of waiting paitently, again I recieved no call backs. I've been calling them a few times after and no one picked up the phone. I really liked this company when I purchased my garage door and motor a few years back. Maybe when it comes to maintanance and fixing small things, they dont't really care. Not sure what is going on with them now totally ghosting me.. Campbell Overhead Door is a great company. They replaced two springs for $285 which is an excellent price. Rick adjusted both of the springs to make sure they were perfectly balanced which lowers the amount of strain on the motor, and sprayed them with lithium grease to reduce the noise. It is super quiet now. The springs should last about 10-15 years. We had only one broken spring, but make sense to replace both of them. You definitely want to avoid the Garage Services Company flyer that comes in the mailpack. That firm is a total ripoff. They quoted $800 for their "springs made in Germany" and then tried to charge me $200 for a house call which was never quoted over the phone. This is the type of job you do not want to do on your own. The parts on Amazon are about $100, but winding the springs is relatively dangerous. You can easily break your fingers if you don't know what you're doing. This job is best left for the pros. He spent about 30 minutes getting it perfectly aligned. It's worth paying for the expertise and customer service. read more

The problem was to open the tilted garage door manually when power fails. He identified the problem right away and asked when were springs installed? The springs were weak and were not able to contract to keep the door open. He was right. The springs were installed by Harry 10 years back. In no time he took out 4 springs from the back of his pickup and installed it immediately. The bill was also very reasonable. Highly recommend Keith for all your garage door work. read more

Pros Estimators and installers did an excellent job. The estimator inspected the motor, springs, and garage door and recommended replacing just the motor. The installer educated us on how to maintain the new lift and increase the life span of the door itself. Cons Schedulers were unreliable. The first attempt was on a Monday between Noon and 1:00 PM. At 1:00, we called. The girl over the phone said that the installer was running an hour behind schedule. We called again at 3:30 PM and learned that he was not coming at all. The installers never got the work order. We rescheduled again for Tuesday, but the installer called saying he ran out of time. We scheduled yet a third time for Thursday at 2:00 PM. He showed up a little after 5:00 PM. For all the trouble, they did give us a $50 discount. Recommendation When calling, ask for Linda. She has a mature voice and is the best. If a young girl answers, ask for Linda. The young girl does not know much and will give you false information. read more
