Always enjoyed going here but moved away and can't go here as often. However, my family and I were recently in town and decided to stop by on Sunday for lunch. The place was completely empty. Which was great since we had several smaller kids with us. The service was great. The employees were nice and kind but that is the only good part about our experience. We were dinning in so we got the restaurant plates. All of them were dirty. And by dirty I mean grease, cheese and sauce still on the plates. We asked for new plates and got paper ones which was great. Next, they have a small arcade area which needs quarters. The quarter machine did not work so we asked the employee to exchange a few dollars for quarters. The employee happily did but after handling money, he went back to preparing the food without washing hands and no gloves. We let them know you have to wash your hands, money is dirty. Well we finally got our pizza and the pizza tasted good until we found one of the employees hair in there. That is when we all stopped eating and left. We politely let the employees know all of the issues we experienced during our visit. Which they listened to. Hoping to return one day but doubt that we will due to this experience. read more

There was nobody else in the restaurant so it's fairly safe to assume But this is why our, pizza took an hour. So initially we ordered a round of beers. Piece of bread came out about 10 When we did not hear from anybody for almost 45 minutes and when I finally got up he said I'm sorry your pizza got burned. And then he brought out the second pizza 10 minutes later. Overall, the restaurant was filthy. I asked for a rag to wipe down the table and I even stacked most of the dishes from the surrounding three tables that were dirty and full of plates. When you spend over 120.00 for dinner at 9:00 pm for a family of 7 and not many options to choose from at that time .. and when we got the pizza it was some of the worst pizza my family have ever gotten ! Even my kids didn't like it with EXTRA cheese !! It was soggy if you can imagine !? It was cooked in a dirty pan , meaning you could taste the burnt residue from the nights baking ... The dough was the worst part of all of it with huge pockets of missing dough and when you picked it up all toppings slid off... My business and family's business will not be supporting this pizza place ... I hope that who reads this really takes into consideration the length I went into this review and that it's not because they were good and I'm upset cause of some other reason .. Was told my pizza would be ready in 40 min , I show up only to have to wait another 20 min. This isn't the first time , I have to wait an extra 15-20 min everytime ! I had stopped by after my hair appointment and opted into a lunch deal! M-F 11am-3pm! I chose the lunch special with a personal pizza (unlimited toppings, um yes!!) and a drink!! I got myself a cheese, jalapeño, and pineapple pizza and the garlic pizza special on their menu for my bf!! They were so good!! We try to go to Campelli's every 3 ish months. We went a few days ago, the pizza was great. We ordered 3 pitchers of beer. It cost $96.00 for beer! We will probably never go back after that. For unknown reasons, it's been over six years since I've paid a visit to Campelli's Pizza, located on Foothills Blvd., in Roseville, CA, to enjoy some of the best pizza you can imagine in western Placer County. Foothills Blvd. should be renamed to "Pizza Blvd." as within a mile, there are no less than thirteen pizza restaurants! Campelli's West , as the restaurant is now known, stands head and shoulders above the Foothills piaaz crowd, as their staff is amazingly friendly, and their pizza is as good as pizza gets... Since my last visit, there have been many changes, including an expansion to include a "party room," and as a result of COVID-19, outdoor dining was installed, which now is a permanent part of the restaurant. As you enter the restaurant, you're greeted with the menu, placed above the cashier's station, and pans on the wall, which show you the sizes of pizza you can choose from. Most of the menu features "Campelli's Creations," but they'll be happy to build a pizza to your specifications, as that option is on the menu. The beer bar serves locally produced micro brew, and is displayed on a monitor above the taps, and also on the restaurant's web site, www.campellispizza.com. I'd never had the pleasure to enjoy most of the selections, so Justin offered me generous free pours of the various brews on the menu. After enjoying several general sample of fine, locally-brewed beer - all delicious - I went #1 on the menu, which was a glass of Loomis Basin "Get Back Jack" porter stout. The menu is on video and online, as it's dynamic and constantly changing. Since today was Friday - a weekday - I ordered a "Lunch Specials" and a "Camp's Combo" pizza from the "Campelli's Creations" section of the pizza menu. The "Lunch Special" is a "personal size pizza" - which is 7" - and a soft drink for price of this writing of $7.99 plus state sales tax. Beer can be substituted rather than a soft drink, at a price. I opted for a beer, in my case, a local brew, a Loomis Basin "Get Back Jack" porter stout. At 8.5% alcohol content, one was enough to make my lunch complete. The menu describes the "Camp's Combo" as, "Our classic combination of pepperoni, ham, salami, Italian sausage, olive, onion, bell pepper and mushroom." Such a modest description for a superior pizza! My definition: One of the best pizzas in western Placer County! The foundation of an amazing pizza is the crust, and Campelli's makes their dough from scratch; nothing is loaded from the Sysco truck, as the dough is made in-house, from scratch, and the dough is made fresh daily before the restaurant opens. The crust is hand tossed, and baked to a thin and crispy golden brown, and holds together as you enjoy your amazing pizza. Naturally, there is lots of perfectly melted mozzarella cheese to hold all the delicious ingredients together. "Camp's Combo" includes pepperoni, ham, salami, sausage, olive, onion, bell pepper and mushroom. Your pizza includes lots of meat, as Campelli's doesn't skimp on the meat, and it's fresh and delicious. I was amazed as the bell pepper had a little "crunch" which added to the attraction, while the other veggies were baked smooth, and perfectly placed on top of the amazing crust, meat and cheese combination. "Camp's Combo" is a pizza that you'll tell your grandchildren about, as Campelli's West produces one of the best pizzas in western Placer County. The pizza is hand made from fresh ingredients, skillfully crafted, baked to perfection, and served by friendly staff. What more could you ask for a perfect pizza? Campelli's West never fails to offer some of the best pizza you can imagine, and the "Camp's Combo" never fails to disappoint. Ordered my pizzas in advance earlier in the day for their Fairy Godmother Event. The girls' cheese pizza looked great and they liked it. My keto pizza was messed up according to cashier and it'll take 15 minutes to remake. 15 minutes later was told it'll take another 15 minutes because they had to make the dough and now they're making the pizza. No apologies and no compensation...free soda or anything like any other establishment would do. It's a madhouse with kiddos as well but that's expected for this event. I do like that they have these for the kids and the only reason I'm noting 2 stars. Updating to 4 stars person who brought pizza apologized. I did not like my keto pizza but probably because of the selection on toppings... should have stuck with their custom ones. I'll come back and try garlic ranch.
