House Special General Chicken- supposedly? Where's the chicken?! It's all donut like inside..
Lori M.

Ordered door dash for lunch. Not sure what they are doing with their general tso chicken, but it's literally almost all breading. Where's the chicken?! I was wondering why it tasted so sweet and the texture was off. I split the "chicken" up on several pieces and it's pretty much 99% breading that's fluffy almost like a donut inside. There might be a tiny piece of what might be chicken in there... not sure. Chicken chow mein was good so 2 stars. I wouldn't recommend. Yikes.

Honey walnut shrimp. Flavour was good!!

This is one of the full service Chinese restaurant serves 100% halal. The place might have been previously under different ownership and wasn't halal at that time. Current owner needs to take down old pictures, this confuses Customers who cares about 100% halal food.

The food is delicious and never disappoint! The ambiance is amazing and the service is great! Absolutely recommend. This has been our go to spot for Halal Chinese food in the area. We really recommend Mandarin chicken/shrimp, the wantons and the chow mien.

Pretty good price and good food. We ordered House Chow mien that we had ordered to go before so we knew it was good. Shrimp fried rice, was good according to hubby who is a picky lol Wonton soup (forgot to take pic), was average Mongolian Beef was blah and disappointed. I had no idea how to describe it. Sadly. Service was good. The place is nice and clean. Water served in a Kirkland water bottle. They have free coffee and tea if I could recall but unfortunately no one refills the dispenser by the time we were there. We would come back to try some other food besides Mongolian.

I've eaten Chinese food all over the west coast everywhere from a liquor store to places in or around Malibu and this was by far the absolute best Chinese food I have ever had. The potstickers were double to triple the size of other places in regards to both overall size and the amount of meat inside. The sauce was outstanding too. I mean I knew Chinese food was outstanding mathematically/logically but never got to actually taste it until now. Best potstickers in the Sacramento area I'd bet money on it. Well done

Another successful date night with my husband. We love the food and portion sizes here. The staff is wonderful, shoutout to Mason, he is so helpful, hospitable and attentive. Food comes out fast and is fresh. We love coming here.

Juicy and well seasoned chicken! I ordered the chicken koobideh and my mom got their chicken kabob…read more Great portions too. I had enough for leftovers for my next meal! The pita bread was also so fresh and light with the veggies. The service was great! Workers here greeted us with big smiles and continuously check on us. The decor is also beautiful inside with gorgeous paintings and interior designs. Lots of space and room for big parties too. The price wasn't too bad either -- $25 for two delicious entree plates that usually are more expensive at other persian restaurants. You can't beat that!

Kolbeh Kabob serves Persian and Mediterranean cuisine…read more Language barrier issues with our server affected my ability to order what I wanted, led to an upsell, and prevented me from separating or splitting the bill. Server did offer to let us choose 2 different meats for our two #41 Koobideh plates (2 beef skewers for $25), but I think we would have been better off just ordering one #61 All Koobideh plate (3 different meat skewers for $34). One plate has plenty of basmati rice for two people to share. She suggested the two #41 orders, instead of answering how much an extra order of rice would cost. Maybe you can't order a side of rice? Rice comes with each entree. By ordering the 2nd plate, she offered or included the $8 Bread Basket for no extra charge. It was my friend's birthday. I wanted to pay, and she wanted to order extra to go, so I wanted two separate bills, but it seemed too complicated to explain or disallowed. After the food was delivered to the table, server didn't check on us anymore. I guess the restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays. My friend thought all the koobideh tasted the same. I liked them in this order: 1) Lamb, 2) Chicken, and 3) Beef, but they're the same texture, so they aren't all that different. I should have ordered a different 2nd entree, instead of two Koobideh plates. The #18 Bademjan Borani eggplant appetizer was yummy. It did come with some bread, so you don't have to order the bread basket. The bread is served warm. The basmati rice was light and fluffy, but not flavorful or buttery. You can pay a $4 upgrade to switch the rice to salad or a fancier stir fried rice. Read the Vegetarian Dishes menu section to learn about the various fried rice or polo preparations. Our server suggested the Fava Bean Rice or Baghali Polo because it is a Persian New Year dish. Yelp reviewers recommended the Zereshk Polo, which includes barberries, a fruit similar to currants. $10 to add a skewer of veggies. $4 to add a salad is mentioned under the Vegetarian Dishes menu and Seafood & Combination Plates menu. I didn't like how the sugar cubes for the Persian Tea were served. It looked communal and exposed to the elements. You could see sugar dust on the serving bowl. Other Persian restaurants serve the sugar in a smaller covered bowl. Formal dining room. Lunch specials are Monday to Friday, 11 am to 3 pm, excluding holidays. Lunch prices range from $16-$20. 3 different $8 soup offerings: chicken barley, ashe reshteh, or green lentil.

I woke up on Sunday and decided I needed a milkshake. It was the only thing in the world I wanted…read more I looked for places near me to get one, because I didn't wanna make it myself and this restaurant popped up. I have thought about trying it for sometime, and Sunday was the day. I got my person off of his computer game and we drove down to a decently busy drive through, so we decided to go inside as we wanted to review the menu anyways. The restaurant was clean and cute, almost set up like a little diner. THIS PLACE HAS EVERYTHING. or at least every fast food type item I wanted to see on the menu. We ordered chicken strip basket, a jalapeño burger, a chocolate shake and fried zucchini. There was at least 40 other things on the menu that I wanted to order, but figured this was a solid order for our first time. There was a little confusion with the cashier over the jalapeño burger, but I refuse to dock stars for a cashier who looked like they were still in training. The important part of the mix up, was the chef came out to clarify exactly what we wanted, so it was never really a problem to begin with. That chocolate shake has been living in my head rent free ever since, because it was perfect. The jalapeño burger (we ended up with 3 patties instead of two, per the menu confusion) basically brought tears to my partners eyes because it was so perfect. And they actually season their fries!!! I would give 6 stars if I could. Don't sleep on this gem. Whether you would call it a drive in or just fast food it is AWESOME.

We've had Burger Shack on our list for a while. We love stopping by old school drive in type burger…read moreshops for a no frills, just good food experience. We stopped in later in the evening for dinner and got the mushroom cheeseburger combo ($12.99), the Pastrami Cheeseburger combo ($14.99), cheese curds ($5.99) and fried okra ($5.99). They gave us our drinks right away and they have the nice crushed ice that's like tiny pebbles. It's always a treat when a spot has this ice because it's tiny and crunchy and not offered a lot. The food didn't take too long and came out on a tray for our dine in experience. There are plenty of booths here and during our visit there were a lot of other people enjoying meals in small groups and couples. The food was hot and fresh and the fries were nicely cooked crinkle cut fries. The fried okra as good, but needed a bit more seasoning or sauce to dip (we had ranch). The cheese curds were great, hot and the cheese was perfectly melty. My husband got the mushroom cheeseburger with just mushrooms, cheese, pickles and added bacon. He said it was a good burger and satisfied his craving, but isn't something he'd specifically seek out. I got the pastrami burger with everything on it and thought it was delicious, but the pastrami was a bit overcooked and dried out so the texture was a bit hard to bite through with the burger and I found myself eating the pastrami separately from the burger. There's plenty of parking here and they have a drive through. I heard the milkshakes are great, so if we stop by again we'll try one.

Small restaurant in strip mall. Has a few tables for dine in, which we did for Saturday afternoon…read more Owners are super friendly and very efficient considering how fresh everything is. They want to make sure you love their food. We ordered the beef and lamb Gyro as well as the falafel Gyro, both were excellent and huge portions. Never tasted such a good Gyro! We saw that they have the chocolate strawberry desserts, as well as baklava, as well as Dubai chocolate. We ordered the homemade baklava, and it was excellent! Since we had never heard of the Dubai chocolate, the owners gave us a piece to try, and OMG, that is a winner! If you love milk chocolate, and pistachio cream inside. It's in a small plaza next to a pawn shop and a Mexican spot, and while the restaurant is on the smaller side, all the window signs make it easy to find. Inside there are a few booths and people waiting for to go orders, but I didn't see anyone dining in. My food was made fresh and took about ten minutes. The man who greeted me didn't talk much, but it was a fast and simple pickup. When the order came out, everything was already packed up and ready to go. I peeked inside the bag before leaving and was excited to see a full chicken platter with rice, salad, hummus, and tzatziki. They also included a chicken gyro on a super soft pita with lots of chicken chunks and fresh veggies and herbs. The food was delicious even after a twenty minute drive home. The tzatziki tasted really fresh, the rice was fluffy and seasoned well, and the chicken had great flavor. There was plenty of food for me, my husband, and our four year old to share. I noticed they offer catering too, and I would definitely consider them for a future gathering. Really impressed and looking forward to coming back to try more.
