This is the best local spot! My husband and I love walking up here on a weekend night for drinks and dinner and we bring every out of town guest here and they love it too! They have a great variety of drinks - lots of beers on tap, wine, and mixed drinks. They also have great non-alcoholic options. The ambiance of the place is great - string lights, best patio in town, and big garage doors that open to create an indoor/outdoor feel. They do different daily specials that I always find myself trying when there. I love the Italian Cobb Salad - I think it might be the best salad in time. The salad dressing is wonderful! And I always have to order the fig and prosciutto pizza. This is a great local place with great service. Also, I hope they bring back Bengals brunch next fall! read more

Our second night as new Northern Kentucky residents, and we thought we'd give this restaurant a try because this place was recommended by several different locals (and Yelp! reviewers too!) - and we loved it! It was pretty busy (a Tuesday around 7 pm) and finding a parking space was a bit of a challenge, but it didn't take us too long to find one - we parked around the side facing the building where there was a sign that said "parking for dentist office only until 5 PM"). We were seated right away, and the service was quick, friendly, and our server's suggestions were helpful. Our drinks came quickly, and they were perfect - and the prices were good as well (about $9 each). I had a glass of Cabernet and my husband had a cocktail (Americana) that the bartender recommended while we were waiting to be seated - and he loved it! Our appetizer was meatballs - The presentation was nice and they tasted delicious... They make their meatballs fresh in house every day. We had the all meat pizza, wood fired, which comes in the 12 inch size (The other option is a 16 inch made in the electric Italian-made pizza oven). I had planned to go to Camporosso for the first time with my parents and sister tonight because of how well they tried to treat their staff during the height of covid and because of all the positive feedback I saw about their food on social media. Then earlier today I also saw where Food and Wine magazine selected them as one of the best pizza places in the state so I knew this was a good plan. We thought we might not be able to find a place to park because it was busy but we luckily found a spot and even though we were told a 50 minute wait til it took less than 30 minutes to get a table. There were four adults and we shared three wood fire 12 inch pizzas, the meat pizza, the four cheese (with no red sauce) and the classic cheese. My personal favorite was the 4 cheese but they were all very good. It was the perfect amount of food. My mom and sister shared a salad and especially liked the dressing. We all shared a dessert my mom wanted to try that I can't remember the exact name of but it's basically gelato that you pour a shot of expresso on top. I'm not a big coffee person but even I liked the flavor. It's a cute place and absolutely worth trying out. read more

Great with a capital G! Got there right at 5pm and there was a line to get in, always a good sign. Service was fast and efficient. On to the food! I ordered the wood fired Margherita pizza and my husband ordered the Camporosso deluxe. Both we're great. To quote my husband, "one of the best pizzas I've had in a while." When mine came out I was nervous the crust would be soft looking at the toppings. I was wrong. Had a wonderful crisp bottom with a delightful wood fired flavor. Lets get to the point, the hot honey pizza is the sauce! It is one of the most unique and tasty flavors I have the privilege of folding into my mouth. Its like the moment you met your lover; hot, passionate, spicy, and sweet. It's light and easy leaving you wanting more. It makes you fall in love, but with pizza. The wait staff is super friendly and you can tell the ownership really cares. This is their life's dream and I'm so glad they had the guts to go for it! This is my absolute favorite pizza in the area. The ingredients are always fresh, the wood fired crust is always baked to perfection, and the service is always super quick. I've worked my way through a lot of the menu, and the soppressata hot honey pizza is my go to every time. I also really enjoy the pepper and the pig, and the prosciutto and fig pizzas. On top of their amazing pizza, they always make really yummy cocktails! They've got a small indoor space, but they make up for that with their spacious patio and outdoor dining area. Camporosso is casual enough for a quick lunch and fancy enough for a celebration dinner. I went to Camporosso last night with my mom and fiancé, and we really enjoyed it! We got there at 5:30 on a Friday night, and they were 3/4 full. By the time we left, there was a line out the door. It's a small space, but they've used it very efficiently! I didn't feel too crammed in. We started with the house meatballs. There were 3 meatballs in a bowl with tomato sauce and 2 slices of bread. I would have liked one more slice of bread to match the number of meatballs, but they were very good. I'm sure they'd be great on the sub or spaghetti! Next, we ordered 3 Neapolitan pizzas. They are 11-inch pizzas, which are someone small. Our server suggested that each person order one. Depending on your appetite, you may or may not have leftovers. They range from $12-16 dollars, so it's a bit pricey if each person orders one pizza. However, because of the quality of the ingredients, I don't think the price is unjustified. We ordered the Pepper and the Pig (not pictured), Pepperoni and Sausage, and Quattro Formaggi-4 Cheese. The Pepper and the Pig was my favorite. The peppers were sweet and spicy, and the wild boar salami was delicious! It has a similar taste to pepperoni. I will definitely order this again. I enjoyed the pepperoni and sausage as well. The pizza cake with onions on it, which isn't listed as an ingredient on the menu. I'm not sure if it's meant to be on there, or if it was a mistake. Either way, it was fine. The last pizza we tried was the Quattro Formaggi. This was my least favorite pizza, although there was nothing wrong with it! It's just cheese, and I prefer a little more flavor. However, it was still good. For dessert, we ordered the lemon cake and the s'mores calzone. The "cake" was more of a tarte, in my opinion. It seemed to be a lemon curd-filled crust, with some sort of topping. It's served with raspberry sauce. It was tasty, but it has an interesting mouth feel. I probably wouldn't order it again, because I will always order the s'mores calzone! The calzone was delicious. The only thing to note is that it's made with pizza crust, so it's much more chewy than a pie crust. But I still liked it. It's also HUGE! Well worth the $12, in my opinion. The three of us happily shared it. It's very decadent! The service was a bit slow last night, but they've only been open for a few weeks, AND they were pretty busy, so that's understandable. I can imagine that it'll only improve. The owner was in the dining room bussing tables, which I admired. He also stopped by each table to make sure everyone was happy. The entire staff was working very hard! All of the customers seemed very pleased. Overall, I really enjoyed Camporosso, and we will certainly be back! read more

If you make a special request, the servers have a can do attitude. We have taken out of town guests here as well as brought in from here when we have had company. Yum yum yum! I didn't get any pictures bc we chowed down mighty fast. Very good thin crust wood fired pizza. The two of us split The Pepper and The Pig. I was surprised (and glad) that the boar salami wasn't more potent, it complimented the tang of the peppadew peppers. We also tried the side Caesar salad and it was VERY good. If you bring three people you should definitely get two wood fired pizzas. I would very much like to go back, bring a cupcake over from Little Flour (why they don't partner already is beyond me), and enjoy their LaVazza coffee --- LaVazza is some of the best coffee around and definitely authentic Italian. It gets extremely busy very quickly - we arrived literally the minute they opened and not 8 minutes later the outdoor patio was FULL. I'm so glad they have this "problem". Between the other customers and the road traffic it isn't ideal for conversation but I think the inside is better. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, but again bc it was packed, the service was the tiniest bit lack luster - but given the current circumstances, you can't hold it against them! read more

This place offers great wood-fired pizza. The crust is As close as I have come in NK to New York City which in my opinion has the best pizza in the world. Except possibly Italy itself. It's been awhile since I've eaten pizza over there. The pasta here is quite good as well. Thank god this isn't another national American style pizza chain. They all seem to taste the same with the possible exception of Mellow Mushroom that has a unique and good flavor. Good pizza, awful service, over prices beverages. A 6 oz glass of house cab is 11 bucks but you get the privilege of enjoying your dirty plates the entire dinner while looking garbage on the floor and your empty water glass. For the lucky few that had their dirty plates removed you get to keep an eye on them as they piled up on the server station. I especially liked the disinfectant spray bottle and dirty rags sitting right next to the outgoing pizza area. I could identify my server but she never gave us her name and we only saw her a few times. Take our order, bring our overpriced 22 dollar round of wine that took 10 minutes to deliver. I guess she had an update to post when I saw her on the phone in the kitchen area. And finally when she dropped off the check to our dirty plates. Rule #1 of waiting tables is NEVER deliver the check to dirty plates. It does make me feel better that we were not alone in the complete lack of service experience. Great service, great atmosphere, wonderful people and the wood fired pizza was awesome - such great crust and the sausage was delicious!!! Owner Eric shared the story of Camporosso with me and he took the time to visit virtually every diner from what I could see. Great to see him working with and training his staff in between conversations with guests! Clearly a favorite hang out for many as it seemed like everyone knew each other. I've eaten wood fired pizza all over the US and this is really one of the best! We got there around 430 on a Saturday. It was nice day so there were people eating inside and out but still plenty of empty tables so we were seated quickly inside. You have the option for the smaller wood fire pizza or the larger oven baked but the great smell of the WF pizza baking made us want that one. We opted for the WF version with crushed tomato, fresh mozzarella and EVOO & I got char pepperoni on my 1/2. It took awhile for the pizza to come out but well worth it. The crust was thin and chewy from the wood oven and had a great flavor. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the service. The server was extremely friendly but we had a hard time tracking her down for refills and even paying the tab so we could leave. It filled up quickly after we got there and looks like she had a lot of tables to take care of. It is a good value and would still highly recommend and would go back. read more

We had lunch here today for the first time. Great atmosphere and incredible pizza! We got a Margherita Pizza and the Pesto Chicken Pizza. My daughter got the meatballs and she loved them. I might have taken one from her and tried it... it was fantastic. Great place to eat. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Update: The owner came out today to let us know that the pizza we ordered did not come out to his standards so he brought us a small pizza to snack on while they fixed another pizza for us. We had a great time at Camporosso. It looks like they have added to their outdoor dining to help accommodate more people and they have reasonable spacing between tables. We had the wedge salad and two pizzas. The wedge is very large so unless your plan to have that as your meal I recommend splitting it with someone else. The two pizzas we had were pesto chicken and margarita. We got both of the pizzas done in the wood fire oven and they were great. I recommend both of the pizzas we had and the wedge salad.
