It was mislabeled as an EXL but owning a FIT myself, I could see it was an EX. But the price was right. We were not anticipating any problems. . We took it on an extended test drive and something was off with the electronic display. Among other things, you couldnt see the gas gauge. Restarting the car did not reset anything. We were assured that it would be fixed either by the Lash service department or taken to a Honda dealership. That was written in the contract as an exception to an "as is" purchase. But Honda makes very reliable cars so we were okay with "as is" provided the electronic display got fixed. And it did...for about 3 days in mostly undriveable weather. Then the problem reappeared. I urged my son to immediately contact our salesperson and the dealership. And he did many times, by phone, text and email. Crickets. Everyone was always "off"or away. After all, it was in the written contract that THIS problem would be fixed. But they had his money. Now me, I would have driven the car to the dealership and camped out with Lash's unresponsiveness. But my son is an adult who prefers to avoid confrontations. Long and the short is my very positive initial experience with Lash has changed to a very negative experience. They should have fixed what they said they would when the problem almost immediately returned.

They were very busy but got to me with in 15 minutes. After they were finished they put the tire back to my car. However, any mechanical repair is extremely expensive. I received an estimate to change the sway away bars, rear suspension/rear shock absorbers and change the tripods for close to $1,500. I found a local small shop mechanic that did it for less than $700. Also, on another vehicle, the horn wasn't working, so Oxford gave me an estimate to fix it for $450. I reviewed YouTube videos and was able to fix it myself, since the problem was simply that the ground cable was not making contact. Bought a 2' copper cable, changed the horn and changed the plug, all for less than $60. Yes, $450 vs $60. Again, I don't think they are bad mechanics, but way too pricey. Won't go back.

Had a bent right, rear axle on my Tahoe and the whole rear-end was under warranty from Las Vegas…read more Jim tried to work with the parts company out of Vegas, but they were being difficult. They wanted him to remove the whole rear-end and pay for a new one to have them send another one to Ohio. Jim saved me a ton on labor by arguing that they only needed an axle replaced. He really tried to straighten it out when it really wasn't his problem. My Tahoe was at his shop for over a month (no charge) before we gave up on that company to remedy their faulty part and he had it fixed in a day. I came back up from NC, picked it up, and I'm back on the road with the vehicle driving smoothly again. Great work, and the best customer service I've dealt with at a mechanic shop...EVER. He was always available when I called and he always kept me in the loop. Very professional. 6 stars.
