Let's face it folks, Villanova is in the middle of nowhere when you're considering the standard college town. If you don't have a car, you're stranded on campus or left with taking public transport and hiking distances. Campus Corner was a great relief while I was on campus during the summer, and pretty much the only option within walking distance. The people here were friendly, and they served decent food. I've been very happy to live on their hoagies here (turkey and italian), and I can say that they taste great. To sooth my junk food cravings, I had orders of piping hot gravy fries. Mmm, gravy. They even take credit card over the phone when you get delivery! You have no idea how awesome that is when you don't want to step out in the overbearing heat and you're strapped for cash because you don't want to be slapped with an ATM fee. So thank you Campus Corner, for saving this foodie with decent food in the midst of 7 weeks of crappy summer college food. read more

I have had a few things here during my summer session at Villanova. Both times were memorable especially the onion rings which took forever. I swear that I never had such a nice thick onion ring with actual beefy onions. Here is a sampling below. Be sure to check out their weekly specials M-Th. Going to Villanova University left a bad taste in my mouth, but Campco did not. Those disco fries saved me, giving me sustenance and hope in an austere place where the Chinese takeout sucked and everything else closed at 10 PM. You were the shining beacon of hope at the end of a long night, the guilty pleasure in the middle of the afternoon. When college left a debt of happiness comparable only to my student loans, the only form of salvation I knew was to gorge myself on the glorious combination of fries and gravy alongside my similarly depressed friends. My point is Campco was damn good in a place where there were few such pleasures. Note that my review may be affected by the general shitty-ness of the surrounding area, which made average look like Michelin Star. Now I have graduated and am back home in NYC, feeling much happier, eating that good food, all while free of student loans and homework. But you know what, sometimes I do miss you, large disco fries. Last night, my friends and I went to Campco for some quality Villanovan cuisine. One of us being a Villanova student, we were quite set on getting ZILLY FRIES (aka the nectar of the Lord). Additionally, we ordered boneless wings which were so incredibly delicious. Not only was the food good but the service was impeccable with friendly staff all around. And to top it all off, we were able to see The Harry Styles's receipt and photo on the wall and sat in the same booth he sat in as well. My pals in the office were practically foaming at the mouth at the thought of going back to this place, so I tagged along to see what all the fuss was about. Maybe it was just high expectations from all the hype, but I was pretty unimpressed. I ordered a small cheesesteak and onion rings, pulling a ten-dollar bill out of my wallet. My jaw nearly hit the floor when my total turned out to be over $12--are you kidding me? To be fair, it was a very yummy cheesesteak (and the bread is awesome) but I would never pay that for a 6" sandwich and a side. The restaurant itself looks like any other college-infested diner around Villanova. Nothing special. Word on the street is that the ice cream is the real winner. I might come back, but only to try that, and only because a Yelp check-in gets you a free one-scoop dish. Horrible place to go sober. I work down the street from this sh*t hole, and they have got me more than once--but i am never going back. The little girl at the front counter is obnoxious. The patrons are ridiculous nova students who think the world revolves around their dior sunglasses. The food is good--if your drunk or starving; otherwise, it is mediocore on its best day. The prices are like crazy eddie...insane! But in a totally bad way. I hate this place. honestly. Pretty solid little college pizza joint. I came in for lunch on a Tuesday, and made the poorly thought out decision to get two slices of pizza for myself. Unbeknownst to me, a "slice" here, is about four dominos slices. Gotta love little pizza shops. I essentially had a medium pie on my hands, and chicken parm no less. Delicious, very filling, should have stopped after the first slice and gotten a box but couldn't help myself kind of pizza. The menu seems sizable, with some options for lots of different people. A new co-worker of mine recommended their salads, which I'm not generally big on, especially at a place where I can stuff my face with something far less healthy. The people working seemed friendly and helpful, but they were quite busy around lunch and I was a bit hard pressed to find somewhere to eat, and somewhere to park. Be warned. First yelp review ever so here it goes: Campus corner is a staple of the main line. I have been coming here for a cheese steak and strawberry milkshake since I was a kid, and the quality has been great the entire time. Cheesesteaks are meaty and full with the perfect amount of provolone (how it should be made, no wizz nonsense here) and on fresh amoroso rolls. I just got their boneless wings for the first time last night and they were great; on par with Buffalo Wild Wings boneless. I recommend the honey BBQ. Milkshakes are also good and are big for the price, pizza is solid and they always have the food made quickly. For the price you won't get better eats anywhere else nearby, I highly recommend Campus Corner. read more

Solid example of an on-campus eatery for college kids-- great prices, pizza, wings, soda, lots of sandwiches, and chicken options, etc. An additional bonus is the large ice cream bar. Like I said, there are great prices-- you pay $3 for what amounts to probably a half-pint or a pint of ice cream. There's ample space to sit and eat your bounty, but most of the times that I've come here, I've just grabbed the food to go. Plus, like every good college eating space-- CampCo is open late. There is nothing better than calling Campus Corner on your way home from a bar or party so it is waiting when you get home! I can remember many a nights ordering hoagies or pizza late at night to satisfy those cravings. Their milkshakes are awesome and their hoagies are always fresh. So as I lay starving in my dorm, I was hit by such hard hunger cravings that I looked on Yelp fo lr a solution. Unfortunately, there are not many places that deliver after 10, or even 10:30... I called a multitude of places, many of which stop delivery at 10... However, Campus Corner was my saving light. I got a Fat Cat ($8.99) and the single Brushcetta which came with Herr's potato chips ($6.99)... needless to say, but I'm still going to say, I have enoygh food leftover for a good breakfast. .. P.s. the delivery guy was really nice... I wanted to give a lot of tip because it was so late at night... but I only had quarters, no small bills. So as I explain this while awkwardly handing over $22.00 (~$4 in actual tip and half of it in quarters), he says, "I 'll be putting these into a jar for my grandson, for when he goes to college." We came here after tailgating for the homecoming game. The guy who took our order was super friendly. I got the buffalo chicken cheesesteak and my boyfriend got a regular cheesesteak. He already loved this place but this was my first time. The entire place was really clean and has plenty of seating. The woman who brought our food out was very cheery and polite. And let me just say this place understands that good bread can either make or break the sandwich. The bread was awesome-so flaky and fresh. My buffalo chicken cheesesteak was wonderful but I do think they could have gotten way more meat on that delicious bun. See you next time! read more

This is another favorite pizza place of mine. I've been coming to this place since I met my bf back in 2008. My bf on the other hand has been coming here with his late grandpa ever since he was a kid. Their cheese pizza is still the best out there ! I think it's even better than NYC famous pizzas !! Not to mention, they have all kinds of milkshakes :) my go to is cookies and cream - delicious even on your last sip Lastly, the people/service here is hands down friendly and welcoming. Campus Corner is a pizza and burgers type of place, located on the edge of the Villanova University campus. It is popular with students (and professors), but other folks enjoy eating there, too. Campus Corner offers the sort of things you'd expect college students to eat: pizza, burgers, hoagies, fries, etc., though they do also serve things like salads and soups. Campus Corner seems to be a "must-go-to" place if you're attending Villanova. Stopped in here with friends between classes and shared a large pizza. The slices are huge, the price is just right and the food is delicious! Parking is super tight here, so if you go to 'Nova and have a permit, it is definitely a whole lot better to park in the "Nova lot and walk. This is literally the most college place ever. I used to get a large Pepperoni Stromboli on every Thursday back in my student days there before going out, and many times with a Mint Chocolate Chip Milkshake. I would highly recommend both to anyone that enjoys that type of food. The pizza is pretty good as well, and they have weekly specials like buy one get one free on meatball subs on Mondays (mmmmm). The prices are good and the food is pizza or sandwiches, sodas, Snapple, water, etc. Casual a cut above fast food and you place your order, sit at a table and it is brought out to you. Took a star off for the obnoxious loudmouth Beavis and Buttheads sitting at the next table....... I got the BLT and my cohorts got 1) beefsteak sandwich and 2) pizza. This place is exactly what you picture when you hear 'campus corner'. They've pretty much monopolized the area for college students around Villanova. I generally expected the food to be mediocre, but it was surprisingly above average. I've gone a couple times now, and I have yet to have a bad experience. Service is great, and the food comes out quick. I've had the pizza and the cheesesteak there and they were absolutely savaged me. Literally nothing screams more 'college' than campus corner. Now I live close to campus and we love to order from them on the weekends, especially the yummy wings watching football.
