After having Cam and his team come out to my condo for 3 years servicing and repairing my 20+ year old unit, I decided to look at upgrading the full heat pump system. Cam was priced competitively and promised a part and labor warranty after install. We ran into some issues due to my part and got held up by 3 weeks waiting for my HOA to approve some new lines that needed to be ran Once I got approval, can was able to schedule his team out there within just a couple days from our call to get the new unit installed. The new unit did amazing dropping my condo down to 75F while it was 105+ outside but did result in some leakage due to condensation build up. Cam seemed like a nice guy who had just started his small HVAC business, so I decided to help him. He quoted me about 17k to replace my unit. He reused moldy plenum ducting, moldy plenum inner insulation, and didn't seal the plenum in the back where it was out of site. He didn't nitrogen purge while soldering, which shortens your system's life. Cam also used a fraudulent duct testing guy to do his leak testing once he was done. Do your research if you don't believe me. I am posting with this account because he's a crook and I am afraid he'll damage my property if he finds out who I am. That's the kind of guy he is. We had concerns about our air conditioning, the compressor was making a nasty noise all of a sudden, and we were heading into a heat wave! Cam came out and found a capacitor that was at the limits of functionality, so we told him to replace it, before it failed. He said our compressor fan was also a bit noisy, and since it was still under warranty for parts he got that for us free, and just charged us labor. He explained everything as he went, he was very helpful and informative, too. He is super professional, lots of texts and reports both before and after the visit. On time, courteous, wore a mask. Awesome Service, Highly recommend. Cam was the first to respond to me via a yelp project request for Maintenance on my older AC unit. He was available within 2 days for an appointment which was great considering the heat wave and how busy HVAC companies are right now. We kept in touch through yelp up until the appointment and on the day of he called me to ask if he could come a bit earlier which was even better. Cam showed up early and wearing a mask which was very considerate and I showed him to the Thermostat, filters AC unit and my hose/water for cleaning. He was done in under an hour with everything and gave me a thorough overview of the status of my AC unit and recommended parts which are close to end of life. He then cleaned up his work area, packed up and provided me the invoice via email which I paid via credit card. Cam accepts credit cards, cash, or checks.
