I don't know where to start, I was apart of a 16 top party this afternoon at the Star in frisco and I happen to be greeted by a younger man and a lady! Later I realized that lady was going to be our server. We are aware it was a last-minute accommodation, but she was able to enter in all of our lunch items and even though we had a Cowboys tour right at 3 o'clock she was able to get us in and out within 45 minutes. Dani was incredible on timing! She originally initiated that we order the pizzas because it typically cooks in 90 seconds!! Wow, she wasn't lying about that. Let me start off saying this The service is amazing! Our server was nice and polite. Inside the restaurant looks homey and welcoming. Love the Star Wars stuff. The food was good-ish. The cheese with chips was disappointing. The cheese had no flavor whatsoever. The pizza was too oily and wet. It almost looked like the crust was undercooked but somehow it tasted burnet. The more I think of our experience last night the more I'm disappointed. I don't know that we did anything to upset our waiter, but his attitude was off-putting from the beginning. He became disgruntled when we all ordered water. He came to fill our waters and he filled my husband's water and my teenager's water. Mine was as empty as theirs and he still had water in the pitcher. He didn't fill mine and walked away. I joked with my husband if he did it on purpose-- which I would have thought was an oversight. However, he did it again later in the meal. I do not know why he was so disrespectful towards me. Plus-- we are good tippers-- and it's me that writes the tip amount and pays the check. Pizza at Cane Rosso never disappoints. Third time dining and taking orders to go at this location. I order the build your own pizza which is Margherita pizza added prosciutto and mushrooms. With drizzle of habanero honey sauce. Brunch menu Chicken and waffles with candied bacon , gravy and habanero honey sauce. Both very delicious. I was here Saturday night celebrating a birthday and I had an impeccable time!! Everything from the food suggestions to the attentiveness of our server was on point !! Dani is one of the best waitresses I have ran across in a long time, personality is not only very inviting but it amazes me how quick she is with refilling things without our party even asking!! Not only was it busy so we understood that things may take time but from start to finish just making sure we were catered to. I want to also shout out the manager on the floor I believe his name was chett or chex I'm not sure !! But he would always check in on our party and other tables just making sure things were being handled properly !! I've had the honey bastard at the Deep Ellum location several times. It's a family favorite! Online ordering not "turned on" at the Frisco location. Called in an order with Emma, who it may have been her first time answering the phone. She couldn't tell me when our order would be ready. She said, "10, 15, 20 mins. I'm not sure, we're busy." The honey bastard flavor was still great, however the pizza was soggy and the crust was too burnt on the Zoli for my liking. I did pick off the sausage and eat that though. Would I eat here at the Frisco location again? Probably not when there are other great food options in the area. read more

You know, I really try not to give 1 star reviews to a lot of places but I do not have a choice with this. To get it out of the way, the pizza is good, but it's not worth the terrible customer service. You can get pizza that's just as good and probably better at other places that will treat you with respect. Came here with my family and got seated right away, but 10-15 minutes later, still no waiter, no one greeted us or anything. Four tables came in after us and were greeted immediately and already offered drinks and had their orders taken and still no one. I don't want to believe that it was due to being the poc family but its hard not to feel that way. I asked to speak to management and advised that we had been waiting and that other tables who came in after us had been helped already and her response was "I know but I can go find you a server now" So you knew that we had been there and you didn't even come over to help? Terrible service. There are very few places that I say this about but I will not be returning to Cane Rosso. Very unpleasant experience when someone tells you they know you've been there and obviously were just ignoring you. read more

We had 75 mins before our 7 pm game right next door. It wasn't crowded. After a few minutes of waiting, someone finally came to our table and took our drink and appetizer order. We asked our waitress how long it would take to get pizza as we didn't want to have it too early. She let us know that it was probably 5 to 10 minutes so we decided to wait. About 10 minutes later. We ordered the pizza. About 15 minutes later we asked her what was going on and she said oh there's some problem and it'll be another 10 minutes. She asked if we wanted cancel your pizza? We had 20 minutes and so we decided no to wait for the pizza expected to arrive in 10 minutes. After 18 minutes I flagged her down and said it's been 18 minutes since you told us 10 minutes. I said we have to be next-door at seven and it was 6:50. She said oh I don't know if it has even been started and disappeared for a minute or two. We went and found her just hanging out and said cancel the pizza. She had not returned either tell us how long or with the pizza. We paid our bill and and we left. I don't know what changed in the 10 minutes we waited, but apparently the 10 minutes became more than 30. Also, It wasn't until after the second time that she refilled our drinks. Super nice person, but awful waitress. FYI- Brussel sprouts were great! read more

Our first visit to the Carrollton Cane Rosso location wasn't a good one but Frisco definitely compensated for our first disappointment. We had a great first time visit here and we definitely will be back again. The staff was very friendly. Our bartender even came over to check to see if we were happy with our drink, and offered to make it over. I got a lot of recommendations to try their honey bastard so decided to stop in for dinner. Honey Bastard - I loved the sweet, salty, and spicy flavor combination. The bacon marmalade and habanero honey really made the pizza. I'd recommend getting this. The pizza has a very thin crust so the bottom was pretty soggy, which was disappointing. The crust itself was soft and lacked a crunch so I left it when I got to it. Prosciutto & Arugula - this pizza lacked flavor. It was a sad prosciutto and arugula pizza. I thought the oil and honey from the honey bastard made it soggy but the crust on this pizza was also soggy. read more

I needed to amend my review from 5 years ago. We tried the brunch and have always been fans but they just can't get it right anymore. No consistency in the menu which was never a problem years ago. We gave the manager some feedback on the new menu but I guess it wasn't what she wanted to hear and she didn't have much to say. The service was always mediocre but that has also taken a turn for the worst over the last few years as well. The only bright spot is the $2 mimosas but that's not even worth it anymore. First time eating expensive paper thin pizza. I came here with a group of friends because it was a sunday and Cowboys were playing. It was my first time here and they hyped it up a lot. We were all very hungry so we ordered 4 pizzas and 2 large salads. All the pizzas tasted good but they were soooooo thin! With the price of the pizza, I definitely do not thing that was worth it. Touring the Cowboys amenities and decided to grab a bite to eat here. We were seated right away and our waitress came over to take our drink orders. She was a trainee so another waiter accompanied her. Drink orders came out quickly, we ordered our food and waited no more than 20 mins for our pizza to come out. Of all the times I have been to -- and loved -- Cane Rosso, my visit last night was not one of them, unfortunately. My husband, mother-in-law, and I went to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our server seemed nice and even suggested a few dishes she liked. All was fine until my mother-in-law found a piece of plastic (about 1" in length) in her pasta. We waited on our server to come check on us so we could let her know, but our patience wore out about 8-10 minutes later and we flagged down another server to have a manager come by. Once she did, we let her know what happened and showed her the piece of plastic. After she examined it, she brushed it off by saying "It looks like it's just part of the label from the pasta box or something." and then proceeded to ask if we actually wanted them to remake the dish for us. Ummmm .... huh???? I politely refused and then asked her to just take that item off our tab, as my mother-in-law didn't want to eat anything else there. She said ok, and left. No apology, no suggestion on how they would fix the mistake (because, yes, mistakes happen!); instead asked if they SHOULD fix it! We were kind of bummed at the reaction, and after a few minutes, decided to box up our remaining meals and go home. We must have waited another 5-8 minutes, thinking our server who we still hadn't seen since us since she initially brought us our food, would come by and check in. NOPE. We flagged down another server -- yet again -- to just grab us boxes, which he promptly did. Another 10 minutes later, we're still waiting on our server. NOTHING. Another server actually stopped at our table to ask if we were ok, to which I responded "We're just waiting on our server to come check on us." She went looking for her and came back soon enough to let us know she was busy. When she finally showed up, she put the check on the table (mind you, we hadn't even asked for it yet), and said "Here you go. We took the pasta off." That's it, no apology for not tending to us, no apology for the plastic mishap, no thanks for coming in .... nothing. Just presented the check, and left. We paid our check and left, almost stunned at the lack of hospitality and customer service, we have grown to expect at a place like Cane Rosso. It was clear she wanted nothing to do with us or our situation, or to deal with what she thought would be unpleasant. The irony of it is, that's not how I would ever address the wait staff when voicing a concern. I hope this review makes it to the management team and they use it as an opportunity to hold all their staff and shift managers to a standard that should be base line, let alone above and beyond. So disappointed in what used to be a family favorite. We will not be returning. read more

Cane Rossi is known for their Neapolitan style pizza. We've previously tried the location in downtown, which was AMAZING, but the one at the stars just wasn't the same. First of all, we were told that there was a 45 minute wait, but we ended up waiting a little longer until my mom went to up to ask why there were so many empty tables. They ended up giving us one of those table, so maybe try kindly asking after your wait time is up. Next, our food took forever to come and they also just didn't meet to taste of the Cane Rose in downtown. Furthermore, the menu just smaller as well. I would recommend the meatball and calamari appetizer. For entrees, I would recommend their pizzas (I got the Emma), their pasta was meh and also took much longer to come out. Skip the lasagna unless you're into the super cheesy kind of lasagna. All in all, go to the location in downtown. I would recommend this Cane Rosso a 7/1 read more

We have been to this location a handful of times. Each visit we have enjoyed our pizza. Service is hit or miss sometimes but not terrible just sometimes slower. I feel like everything tastes fresh! Most recent visit we sat out on the patio and enjoyed the weather and view. Awesome weekend drink prices for mimosa was $2 each and I believe my Bloody Mary was $5 or $6? I love the Caesar salad there as it does not come with big chunky hard croutons but shaved/crumbly croutons which is delicious. Big enough to order one and share with one other person with pizza! The mimosas are only $2 you can't beat that! Next best thing to bottomless. Plus they have a nice little kick, they give a splash of juice which I appreciate. Don't know what to make of this place and not sure will be back. In a way, kind of a nice vibe but don't like the layout.
