Gotta drop it to one star because the guy who works the counter daytime doesn't care to greet customers. No welcome No hello No hi how can I help you. I'm just in awe. How can management hire this unwelcoming person. And I was just about to update the review to 4 stars because they finally changed the cheese to " grande " brand mozz. I won't be back if this guy is at the counter. Oh almost forgot he doesn't say thank you either. Just incredible

First visit to Slice House and it did not disappoint. We tried several items New York Pepperoni Slice -- Tomato sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. Classic slice with great flavor and structure. Traditional Sicilian Square -- Pepperoni and sausage. Good flavor, but the crust was a bit hard and slightly greasy compared to the others. Wiseguy Slice -- Mozzarella, tomato sauce, pepperoni, hot honey sausage, Italian sausage, ricotta, green onion, and Tony's hot oil. Great combination of flavors with a little kick. Signature Meatballs (3) -- Served with marinara. The marinara sauce was outstanding with rich flavor, and the meatballs were seasoned perfectly. Gemelli with Vodka Cream -- Fresh gemelli pasta with smoked pancetta, garlic, and vodka tomato cream sauce finished with Romano. Creamy and flavorful. Everything we ordered had great flavor. The pizza dough might be the highlight. I picked up my slice expecting it to fall, but it held perfectly. Great texture and balance. Customer service at the register was excellent. The lady was patient, informative, and helpful since it was our first time. We stopped in after work at the right time because right after we ordered, the place filled up with a steady flow of dine-in and pickup customers. Always a good sign. Favorites in order Meatballs Pepperoni slice and Wiseguy slice (tie) Gemelli with vodka cream Traditional Sicilian square (last only because of the crust texture and slight grease) Overall great food, great experience, and a vibrant spot we'll definitely be back to.

Tried the newly opened Slice House and they have tons of options. It's a pretty casual setting to grab a pizza. Looking at the menu they have lots of flavor combos that I like that are more Italian. We went with the Cal Italia and the Purple Potato 12". The Cal Italia is what they're known for and I normally think fig and cheese is a great combo on pizzas but this one was a bit sweet. The prosciutto was also a bit chewy and not the best quality. Still a pretty good pizza but just too sweet. The Purple Potato was promising as potato and bacon is a classic Italian combo as well. The potato was sliced pretty thinly so missing some crunchy texture. Flavor profile was pretty good. Crust was chewy on both. I thought but pizzas were pretty good and nice to have more authentic options. The flavor overall was good but just missed the mark on execution. However, the big elephant in the room is the price. $25-26 per 12" pizza is very pricey and I expected more for that price point. That's what you expect to pay from a high end Italian restaurant.

I was really excited about this new pizza shop! I live in Frisco, and while I think there is some good pizza in Dallas, I don't yet have a go to spot close to my house. I do always get nervous when trying a restaurant when a famous chef has it name on it, as it is very typical for the price to be high because of the name of the person attached to it, but the quality fall short. Pizza here is expensive even as someone who has lived in NY, the pizza is priced as top tier pizza joints, with slices going for $7, a 12in pie being around $23 and a 20in pie being around $35-$38. I can say that the quality was there, along with great service with a very friendly staff , and the experience was worth the price I paid for the pizza. Let me start with the meatballs which I got as an appetizer, they were simply delicious, with the marinara sauce they used standing out on its own. It was packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with the meatball. Highly recommended getting this an appetizer! Next, was the slice of the Drunken Italian! As a former New Yorker, and someone who has had pizza from some of the best pizza joints in NY, the drunken Italian stands on its own with all those top tier pizza joints slices. It is packed with flavor and the vodka cream sauce simply stands out as an ingredient that simply elevates the slice. If you come here, this is the one slice you must get or you're simply missing out. I also got a slice of the wiseguy, which was also really good. I don't typically love slices with a lot of different toppings, but this combination worked well, and each ingredient complemented each other well. I also got a pepperoni pizza, to share with my family, and while it didn't standout relative to other pepperoni pizzas I've had in Dallas, it was still really good. After coming here and getting both slices and a pie my recommendation would be to get slices as there is a very good variety of options, and while good a whole pie is very expensive. I will though splurge on a Detroit style drunken Italian. My only negative feedback is I don't believe you can get full pies unless they are a NY style, and that was not made clear right away, as I did want get to the pepperoni pizza as a Detroit style, but would assume as some point it will be an option, especially as I do want a full Detroit Style Drunken Italian. Looking forward to coming back and trying the different styles of pizza they have to offer!

Pizza is very, very good! A great place to order a full pizza, but also slices that go beyond the usual pepperoni and cheese options. Even though they were slammed with orders for both eat-in as well as carry out, the restaurant seems to be running smoothly and quickly. Every person we interacted with was calm and so nice. I truly appreciate great service, and we saw this tonight. One of the three pizzas we ordered was burnt. They wouldn't even let us have it, but instead decided to remake it and also refund it on the spot. I didn't even ask for this to happen. Great place to bring the family, but also for carry out as well. The seating area is a bit small, but we were able to easily find spots for our group. We'll be back for sure!

Line to get in on opening day!

I have been waiting for a legit slice house in the DFW ever since I moved to Texas from glorious San Francisco. I am a hSge fan of Tony, and good for him getting his coin and franchising his slice houses. Big glow up for Tony in Texas! This Frisco location is owned by Dan, or maybe Dave, but big thanks to that man either way. The place was supposed to open tomorrow, but with an ice storm headed straight for DFW, they wisely pivoted and opened a day early. Fine by me. I am retired and Friday is definitely less chaotic than Saturday. The first 50 people in line got a hat, and the very first guy in line, who showed up at 8:30 (AM!) in the morning, got a cookbook. Fully deserved. I arrived about 30 minutes before opening in my limited edition Tony's T-shirt, fully prepared to get my grub on. There were already about six people ahead of me, and inside there were easily 30 employees hustling around getting ready. When the doors opened, we ordered three slices to split. Pro tip, you get five dollars off your first order if you download the app. We went with a grandma slice, a Detroit slice, and an exclusive slice just for this location. I really hope they keep this exclusive slice on the menu all the time - because it might be my new favorite. It was a Texas brisket New York style slice with BBQ sauce and crispy onions. Absolute yum. The Tony's quality I am soooo familiar with is 100 percent there, and you can tell Tony is serious about making sure the franchises match the standards he is known for. This place delivers in a big way. And can we just say every time I have met Tony, he is such a cool and nice dude!! Please Dan, or Dave, open one in Las Colinas or Coppell so I can have this little slice of San Francisco even closer to my heart.

Another native New Yorker here. I was also super disappointed. We stopped by here with intentions to get a full meal for the 4 of us. When we came and saw the exorbitant prices - we got 1 plain slice for my son and then went elsewhere. My son said his slice was good but it should not have cost $6-$7 for a plain slice (even more for specialty slices). It wasn't overly large or fresh or anything like that. Everyone working there was extremely friendly, though.

Slice house is a wonderful addition to Collin County's pizza scene. They have a great variety of pizzas and they also have other dishes like pasta and appetizers. I tried a slice of the cheese pizza and my daughter had a slice of the pepperoni and sausage with ricotta and hot honey. Both were delicious and crunchy. I can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu. They also give a 10% discount to first responders which I think is awesome.

Trio hand pipped cannoli about $18 for all 3
    Julie K.

1st day of opening was bustling. If you ordered a slice, the wait was about 5-10 minutes for a slice. I'd recommend to pop them in a toaster for a hot slice as they give it to you the slice in a small box, room temp. New York - 4/5: pepperoni, wise guy, tomato pie. The slice was bigger than a Costco pizza slice, thin, light chewy crust. You can eat it with one hand, no soggy bottom. Sicilian - 5/5: pepperoni sausage, it was more like lighter focaccia bread, crunchy, light, pillowy pizza. Grandma - 5/5; thin crust, very crispy, and easy to eat, surprisingly delicious. Like an elevated Pillsbury roll crust, my favorite. Detroit - 3/5: heavier focaccia like pizza, with crispy edges of baked in cheese, sauce was distributed in one strip of the pizza, sauce was too sweet for my taste, like Prego sauce. Cannoli- 5+/5: expect a wait, they hand pipe the filling. Light, sweet cannoli pastry cream, the shell was crispy and easy to eat, would recommend! For a slice cost range about $6-$8, not bad for a quick meal for a single person. For a family could add it. But they have whole pizzas, salads, pasta, subs, wings. They even have vegan cheese and pepperoni! They even sell the Pizza Bible cookbook there! This place is a must try! Overall 4.5.

The Pizza was very good - 4 stars. They have 4 different styles. I tried a slice of grandma style (square, thinner but not quite thin crust). The rest of my family had the NY style. I look forward to trying the other varieties they offer. The cannoli was the highlight for me. Just perfect.

Hot Honey XL 20" NY Pizza Pie
    Eric R.

Eaten here three times (dining in) so will give an early review. The pizza is very good. I've ordered the XL (20"?) NY pie twice and once the 12" pie. The large pie gives more of the NY slice experience, so go for that. All the pizzas I've eaten have been whole pies so cooked-to-order. They do take some time so prep accordingly. A huge emphasis here per the name is the slices. They have a display of slice pies and if you order a slice they flash-heat in their oven. But when I've seen slices on other people's tables they seem visibly overdone and so I've steered away from that and ordered whole pies. Your mileage may vary but I'd encourage them to adjust how they cook the slice pies. They have a little special item -- a pepper-infused olive oil of their own branding. It's a fun add-on for a bite or two -- or every bite if you ignore the calorie implications. The salads have been good and show effort far beyond that of the standard pizza joint. Have had wings all 3 visits, 2 really good and 1 time skin a bit too flabby. The last time the skin was rendered well and this is again a plus over the average pizza joint wings. Good job! Believe it or not, the Cannoli is good. The shell is crispy so they seem filled to order. I've tried a cannoli from a nearby Italian bakery with a lot of bend in it so am pleased with this. The seating area is small and quite casual, very much a lunch-place vibe. But my dine-ins have been at dinner hours and its been full and everyone seems to be enjoying the food -- including the guy happily downing a couple of those slice orders I thought were hopelessly overdone. :-) One item of suggestion is to give your customers drinking water something better than these flimsy, tiny (6 oz?) plastic cups. I'm not asking for your logo-ized soda cups, but something that isn't what your dentist hands you to rinse. Welcome to Frisco! The restaurant market here is ruthlessly competitive and so being consistent with food quality, service, and pricing are needed. So far, so good.

We came here for something as simple as a slice of pie. Well, upon arrival on a Friday night they had only 4 choices for slices at that time. None that I wanted. My wife went for the traditional, it was actually pretty tasty, thick crust and a good flavor. The size of the slice was good. The meat was also good. We shared as I didn't want any of the other three that were available. Rather disappointed with the selection. Someone behind us in line left due to the selection of slices available. Not a good business model in my opinion. The full pies looked good when they came out, but they were probably ordered online or called in. The poor kid behind the counter was on his own and it wasn't even that busy at that time. Overall, I probably won't come back, other than if I have a desire for a full pie to go. And at those prices, I can get a decent pie at closer.

Hit up Slice House today. And here are MY opinions of MY visit. 1st off CLEAN and tidy ( should be since they are BRAND NEW) but I have been to restaurants that are new and they're already not kept up. Slice house super tidy, ready to go. Greeted by a very warm and friendly person on the counter. again which is expected, but today's restaurant business You just don't get that all the time BUT here I did. A very well balanced menu, not just slices of pizza so there is something for everybody, they had salads and other goodies along with pasta dishes that are gonna be made to order . SO DONT COMPLAIN when it's not handed to you after you pay. Had three different slices and a Caprese salad, all three pieces were well cooked. The crust was tasty and crunchy which I like toppings were fresh and delicious. My favorite was the Detroit style second would be the pepperoni third would be the grandma slices. The salad was a nice little take on a traditional Caprese Salad. They have refill sodas and drinks, napkin dispensers at the tables and at the window bar seating .. I had to use the restroom. The restroom is clean as expected, but again lotta restaurants out there, don't have clean restrooms in, which means the kitchen is not clean. That was not the case here at slice house bathroom is clean and all the things that needed to do what you need to do in the restroom Place was busy, which is always great to see, especially as a new business trying to get their footing. There has been a few negative reviews here on yelp by people I feel our keyboard warriors, people that maybe didn't have a conversation with the manager before going home and rattling off paragraph after paragraph of ridiculous stuff ... but that's typical in today's hide behind the curtain culture.. Now to the other meet and potatoes, our the prices fair? Should a slice of pizza be more than 3.99?? I felt the pricing was fair. Would I like it to be less expensive? Of course so! I think most everybody feels restaurants, should cut corners making their food CHEAP and selling it to you cheap. But let's be honest folks post Covid, and with workers wanting and demanding more money per hour and food costs high for every buddy in America , if you have NOT BEEN TO A grocery store lately, then you need to pull your head out of the sand.... Stuff WAS $$ BUT it's great quality pizza.... if it's not your thing, and you're bringing 12 kids from the baseball game that are seven years old yeah take them to some pizza joint that sells crappy pizza. That's not sliced house, it's high quality food and prices that reflect that. Everybody give them a try. I think I'll you'll enjoy the pizza, is it gonna be a Friday night regular probably not ... But I definitely will come and visit at least once a month for a couple of slices so I can get my fix ..... THANKS SLICE HOUSE !!

I heard they just changed management a few months back, so if you had a bad experience in the past I was suggest coming and letting Manuel and the team take care of you.

The food was amazingly good--one of the best italian places I've had in a while. Our service was subpar. We were a group of 5 people all around the age of 23-24, and it seemed like our server just assumed that made all his shortcomings okay because he tried to act kind of bro-like with us. There were multiple periods of time where we were left alone for anywhere from 10 minutes to 40. It took us a LONG time to get our food even though we were one of maybe 4 parties in the restaurant. One friend got told they were out of something, ordered something else, and the waiter went, "that's a joke, right?" and told him they were out of that too. His entree came out almost a full 30-40 minutes after the rest of ours so he just packed it up to-go. Only a halfhearted apology that everything was taking so long and no type of compensation. The food was good enough that I would go back to try again since partner and I live in the area. But i really hope we don't get this guy as our server again.

I had the chance to finally try Baonecci this past week and it was a phenomenal experience!…read more Our waiter, Rogelio, taught us all about the restaurant's history and about the menu. Baonecci used to be in San Francisco and recently came to Frisco, TX in the last 3 years. Their entire menu is ordered in fresh from Europe, pastas and pizzas are handmade in house, and everything lacks processed ingredients. To begin, we ordered white wine and I believe the Judas Spritz, which contained red wine, orange, and more. Both were excellent and paired perfectly with our appetizers and meals. For our appetizers, we ordered the Bruschetta and the Tagliere Toscano, or charcuterie board. The bruschetta was some of the best we have ever had and was made with excellently toasted bread. The Tagliere Toscano contained a variety of tasty meats, cheese, olives, as well as focaccia bread. It was a perfect board and not too heavy before our main meal. We also split the Baonecci Salad, which contained romaine lettuce, arugula, goat cheese and pears. It was absolutely delicious and perfect for the two of us. For our entrees, we ordered the Ravioloni Riccotta e Spinaci and an item from the secret menu, veal ravioli with white sauce. We also spilt a Contadina pizza. We were absolutely blown away by each of these dishes, the Ravioloni Riccotta e Spinaci was my particular favorite. The ravioli ricotta and spinach was served with the best gorgonzola cream sauce and topped with walnuts, it was honestly one of my favorite dishes I have had this year. The secret menu item was classic Italian and another hit. We loved the Contadina pizza as well. It was made very thin and crispy, echoing true Italian style. It definitely could be an appetizer because it was very light. It was made with gorgonzola, mozzarella, parmesan and topped with curly pears, it was delicious! Lastly, for dessert, Rogelio recommended we try the Coppa Amarena over the Tiramisu, so we did. It was a great choice! The Coppa Amarena is vanilla gelato topped with Amarena cherries. It is a perfect, fruity and light dessert to end the night with. However, I would love to come back for the Tiramisu! Overall, it was an absolutely amazing experience. The food is authentic, Italian and clearly made fresh and in-house. Our waiter, Rogelio, also made it such a fun night and gave us amazing recommendations that made the entire experience great. I cannot wait to come back and try more from the menu and have some of these dishes again. Don't let it deter you that it is located in a strip mall, it is truly a hidden, Italian gem. I look forward to returning soon! Thank you so much for a great experience and night!!

We've been here a few times, but our last visit was rough…read more We asked how long the wait was and were told 15 minutes. The hostess added us to the list and said they would send a text once our table was ready. She even read our phone number back to us. We waited outside and 30 minutes went by before we went back inside to see how much longer. Yea, they somehow didn't actually add us to the list. There were plenty of tables available by then and they gave us a table immediately. We placed our order and after receiving everything except the penne alla vodka and waiting almost 20 minutes after we'd gotten everything, I asked where our pasta was. Our waiter said it should've come out long ago and he would check. Somewhere along the line, it was forgotten. Either it was never put in or the kitchen staff lost it. It ended up being on a completely separate bill because they had to put it in again. By this point, we were over this dinner experience. An extra hour had been added on due to no fault of our own. So why am I giving it 4 stars? Because the manager made it right. Patrick, the manager, came over to our table to talk to us. We politely explained how this evening was a failure across multiple points and he was very apologetic and comped our entire $50 meal. I wasn't expecting that as I had already given our waiter my credit card and he already ran it. We weren't looking for a free meal, we just wanted to give him honest feedback about how things went wrong. Because he took the time to chat with us, I wouldn't hesitate to return. This experience had never happened before there so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was just a rough night for folks. As for the food, the pepperoni pizza and chicken soup were delicious. The short rib comes pretty much comes in soup, but it was fall of the bone tender. The penne alla vodka that we waited so long for missed the mark. It was incredibly sour and mushy. We've gotten the bolognese and pappardelle pastas before and those were both excellent.
