I found Canelo's Auto Service by using the Yelp Project feature. They were the first one to reach out to me to provide a quote and at a fair price! I needed headlight restoration and headlight light bulb installed on my mother's vehicle. I am not sure who "Danny" is that works there, but he embarrassed my sweet Grandma so unacceptably on multiple occasions, I would be surprised if she ever felt comfortable or safe using their services again. He tried to take advantage of her by quoting her over $800 for a $250 auto part. When she tried to question it and advocate for herself, he put her on blast and argued with her, causing a scene in front of multiple other customers. Now, I don't typically give negative reviews, I love supporting local businesses, but when I hear that an innocent person was taken advantage of by a supposedly "specialized professional", I find it severely disconcerting. We are supposed to be able to trust these individuals to take care of our loved ones by providing the best care possible for their automobiles and make them safe and reliable to drive. At the very least, I would have expected my Grandma to have been treated respectfully and professionally. I was shocked to hear otherwise. I won't encourage others to avoid this business just because my Grandma was victimized by a single employee, but I do hope that a certain level of accountability will be maintained within their staff moving forward.

Figured it would just be a quick in and out for the inspection. Btw. My new tires and bulbs elsewhere came to 650.00 total. So they inspected my car and said well all the original things were corrected to pass but we see that your front turn signals are not amber in color so it will cost you 89.00. Wtf. The glass in the turn signals is amber so the bulbs have always been clear since purchasing the vehicle as new in 2018. I asked and they said no the bulbs have to be amber also. BS. So no I won't recommend them for anything other then rip off of the year. I've heard good things about this location for months from other low car folks for tire replacement, but I saw they have an in-ground alignment rack and figured I'd give them a try. Note: I was a walk in customer, I never reached out over the phone if they did appointments or if they were available/slow right now so it's partially my fault. Well unfortunately because of how busy the place gets my custom alignment became a 3 day long ordeal, I had to come back 3 different times due to minor errors, misunderstandings, and a slammed shop. I perfectly understand from a business perspective to keep things moving (time is money!) because of my car and specific requests to camber/caster/ toe values (all well off stock spec numbers) it made the alignment machine act a little funky and the technician had to repeatedly bring the car down, reset the machine, calibrate, and raise car for every single adjustment made just creating a back up for other people just trying to get a simple alignment. The technicians, front desk, and the manager were all really friendly and helpful people. whenever I wasn't pleased with something, they went out of their way to make things right with me when they could of easily just told me to kick rocks after day 1. I did come back later to get 6 tires replaced, they were quick and caused no scratches to my expensive real wheels. Overall, I probably won't be bringing back my drift car for my niche alignment mainly because their time is limited (maybe if they were a clamer/ less busy shop I would) I'll bring in my street/track car for alignment in the future which is definitely less of a headache to align. Definitely a fantastic tire shop though, I'll be bringing my nice sets of wheels here in the future. They price themselves competitively to many shops in the Fredericksburg/spotsy area, they aren't the cheapest but the value u get from them for the price is great. He ran my tire over to dominion tire company and within minutes they fixed my tire and my valve for only $50! So this morning when I discovered a nail in my mom's tire, I of course thought of this place. I'm super impressed. They were able to fix the tire and patch it up within minutes and it only cost $20. To me they seem to be pretty consistent with being fast, affordable, and efficient. I highly recommend this place!

I sent my elderly mother to get her air conditioning fixed after she stated it wasn't working. After speaking to Filipe, he assured me he'd pick her up and deliver her home safely while he worked on it. He was very honest with us, and let us know she had accidentally turned the A/C off without knowing and nothing was wrong with it after testing it to be absolutely sure! He did check and noticed her oil needed changing and took care of that for her. Filipe is a great value to the community and I can highly recommend his work and honesty. read more

FIVE STARS! TWO THUMBS UP! IT'S THE BEES KNEES! Had some car trouble about two hours into a fourteen hour road trip. He was so down to earth and honest. I went in with my 2020 Toyota Camery because I thought that I had engine troubles (which is costly of course), he did a full diagnostic, and he found out it was something else (less expensive).
