Tire Tread Service - If it'll fit in our lot, we'll service it!

    Tire Tread Service

My Grandma used Tire Tread services recently. She has been a loyal customer for the past 40+ years,…read moreand I have never once heard her complain about how they treated her before this most recent visit. I am not sure who "Danny" is that works there, but he embarrassed my sweet Grandma so unacceptably on multiple occasions, I would be surprised if she ever felt comfortable or safe using their services again. He tried to take advantage of her by quoting her over $800 for a $250 auto part. When she tried to question it and advocate for herself, he put her on blast and argued with her, causing a scene in front of multiple other customers. Now, I don't typically give negative reviews, I love supporting local businesses, but when I hear that an innocent person was taken advantage of by a supposedly "specialized professional", I find it severely disconcerting. We are supposed to be able to trust these individuals to take care of our loved ones by providing the best care possible for their automobiles and make them safe and reliable to drive. At the very least, I would have expected my Grandma to have been treated respectfully and professionally. I was shocked to hear otherwise. I won't encourage others to avoid this business just because my Grandma was victimized by a single employee, but I do hope that a certain level of accountability will be maintained within their staff moving forward.

UPDATE 2020 THERES AN ALL NEW TEAM HERE AND THEY ARE awesome…read morenow. OLD 2018 REVIEW Took my car here for a diagnostic and some brake work. My car is on its last legs, so I know they can't fix everything. Interesting part is they charged me $220+ (that's after they refunded $80) and I had to take it to another place only for them to tell me I need an alignment and rotation and balance. They will say that it was all labor, the only work they did which is questionable is they supposedly replace my emergency break. Where are the parts they took off my car, they never even offered to show them to me.

I recently visited Little Tire Company with a few questions regarding work that had been performed…read moreand to puck up and pay for my vehicle and unfortunately the customer service left a lot to be desired. When I walked in, I expected a professional and welcoming environment. Instead, I was met with an attitude that made me feel as though my questions were an inconvenience. The young employee behind the counter seemed far more interested in his cell phone than engaging with a customer who was simply seeking clarification about services provided. Rather than taking the time to answer questions courteously, his demeanor came across as dismissive and uninterested. What stood out most was the contrast between the level of customer service I expected and what I experienced. A customer should never feel like they are bothering staff by asking reasonable questions about work they have paid for. Professionalism, communication, and respect are just as important as the work being performed, and unfortunately those qualities were lacking during my visit. I also couldn't help but notice that the shop appeared much quieter than I remember it being in years past. Seeing employees sitting in the bays and on their phones while receiving such a cold reception only reinforced my impression that customer service is no longer a priority. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. A more welcoming attitude and a greater focus on customer interactions would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.
