Steak medallions with hashbrowns and carrots. Melt in your mouth.

What a lovely surprise! While staying in Center Harbor, we didn't feel like driving far and this restaurant came recommended. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some cocktails before dinner. Hubby had the last shot of Blanton's, and they graciously gave him the decorative horse from the bottle. I ordered the tenderloin medallions with the cheesy hashbrowns. The medallions were cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the hashbrowns had a beautiful gruyere cheese in them. Hubby had the seafood special which consisted of pappardelle pasta in a beautiful mushroom sauce with the most gorgeous and generous portion of scallops and shrimp. There was also warm bread and butter to go with the dinner. Service was great and the value was amazing. Highly recommend!

Food was great as it always is! Highly recommend any of their multiple steak offerings or any comfort food dish such as the meatloaf or haddock. Our service was great from the moment we walked in the door until we left. The manager held the door for us as we left. The server communicated about the wait times and specials and had great food/wine suggestions! The ambiance was fun and upbeat, but quiet in other areas! Definitely worth stopping by to see it for yourself! Was also pleased to know they have multiple resturants and locations! P.S Don't forget to try their yummy warm cinnamon bun for dessert!

The food was amazing, and it is definitely one my favorite places in the mountains. The service was great and our waitress was attentive to making sure we had everything we needed. We were sat down stairs and a large party was seated. They were very loud and kind of ruined the ambiance. I could see other people also bothered by it, and one group even told the waitress about it. Of course, nothing was done, so it was just quite noisy there.

Pan seared salmon with risotto, and the surf and turf special.

First timers.... my wife had the filet mignon and half lobster tail special. It was served with brussel sprouts and mashed sweet potatoes. I had the pan seared salmon with risotto, both dishes were delicious and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely go back .

Pan-seared Salmon with risotto and the filet special with mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels! Mezcalita cocktail too... 10/10!

We almost couldn't hear each other across a small table. Decent wine list. They had a Prisoner Chardonnay $14 and Unshackled Cabernet Sauvignon $13. I got an Oberon Sauvignon Blanc for $10. The crab cake appetizer for $18 came with two burger-sized crab cakes, a peach salsa that was the star of the show, and a dill remoulade sauce. Enough to share. However, the texture was like moist breadcrumbs, similar to falafel, and we saw no crabmeat. It was seasoned to taste like seafood, but the crab didn't show up to the party. My husband got the Tuscan filet for $43 and said it was tender but not medium rare as he ordered. It was definitely medium. I got the seafood saffron for $32 that came with two medium sized scallops, 3-4 medium shrimp and a few small pieces of lobster. I saw a few shorts threads of saffron but the sauce was sweet! Not coconut sweet, but sugary sweet. I thought it would be sherry based like a light Newburgh sauce, but no. I'm not keen on sweet seafood. I thought a lemon or sherry based light sauce would have complimented the scallops and lobster better. Sorry Breeze kitchen staff. I have to be honest, but hopefully kind. The food was plated beautifully. You set out cloth napkins. But we can't see coming back for a long while. That was our anniversary dinner. $137.91 plus tip. Swing and a miss.

Being in season today the entire down town was extremely busy! Sophie was our server. She did a great job! She was friendly, personal, and professional! The Restaurant itself, from what we saw, was well kept and tables cleaned off! We ordered adult beverages, a Manhattan for me and their wow wow wow for my wife. The wow wow wow was a spritzer. I think my wife is finally decided she doesn't care for soda water. That said she did finish your drink, my Manhattan was perfect! We ordered a their housemate chips. In fact, we had two orders! Most of our beverages in one of the bowls of house made chips, we ordered our main course. My wife decided on their macaroni and cheese with grilled chicken while I decided on their chopped Mediterranean salad, adding salmon. I asked that the salmon be blackened and rare if they could do so. When are meals arrived? My salmon was grilled and dry and unfortunately, my wife's chicken was dry as well. Not sure why they couldn't do rare salmon and had to overcook the chicken. That said, my wife's macaroni and cheese actually had some great flavors to it and I truly enjoyed the Asian chop salad. Sophie was the main reason for four stars. If our meats would not have been overcooked, it would've been easily five stars! Better luck next time?

When we arrived, there was a large bus with tourists that had just arrived so we opted to eat in the bar area versus eating outdoors. Our waitress (Trisha) was one of two bar tenders covering a bar that sat about 12 patrons plus about 6 other tables, She took our orders and then was tied up trying to assist others. We only saw her again when she asked if we desired dessert. My Pasta Fattoria had chicken, spinach, bacon , sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and was very enjoyable. My wife had the steak tips. I could not finish mine so I have lunch for another day. Overall, a nice meal and given the circumstances, Covered Bridge covered most needs.
