Good spot for Mexican - lots of parking. In on a Thursday, promptly seated - nice clean dinning room and bar area. Isabella took drink orders. - good margaritas, chips and salsa. Had the steak burrito- good with beans and rice.

Great chain restaurant. Service is always friendly and attentive. We have been numerous times and keep going back. They offer smaller lunch options too. Margaritas are delicious, the spicy margaritas is def one of the spicier ones I e ever had but still really good. Do not sleep on their desserts! I didn't get a picture but the sizzling apple pie will change your life, it's that good.

Came here for a work event. The service was phenomenal for hosting 21 people. They have a small private room, but the seating is pretty tight for 21 people. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Food was pretty good. Happy hour specials are available. $7.50 house margaritas were a thumbs up. They can and will sneak up on you. They offer table side guacamole, offer chips and salsa for the table. Even queso. I ordered a small house salad. The cilantro lime vinegar dressing is a must. Fajitas were good (chicken), nothing special. Ordered chocolate brownie and ice cream to go. Both good as well. Average Mexican cuisine. Not incredibly expensive.

I have to start this review by first complementing Luci! First impression speaks volumes and this is $1 million hostess here! Her humor, genuine, smile, and professionalism go beyond reproach! Logan was our server and I have to say he was great! Very patient as the four of us kept talking and he wanted to know if we were ready to order and when we realized we were talking so much he just handled it like a true champ. Gave us our time to catch up and then came back. His knowledge of the menu was outstanding, and his recommendations were spot on. Each of us interestingly enough had tacos. The traditional taco was a bit salty from my taste, but had good flavor. The sirloin taco was outstanding. The restaurant is clean, warm and inviting. What really sets it off though is the outstanding customer service received by Logan and Luci!!! They truly made this a special visit

This is a good place to go for dinner but I was disappointed with lunch. Everything was overly salty and the chips were cooked in old oil, so they tasted bad. The guacamole they make is good my fajitas were good but not as good as they were when I had then for dinner last month.

This is considered upscale Mexican food and it WAS upscale in regard to decor, service (Tory was AMAZING!), food (the relleno de camarones had layers of flavors!! and the salsa was on point), and drinks (the cucumber chili marg was crisp & refreshing ). The only un-upscale part of the meal was the fly buzzing around my food.

I attended a friends birthday party at Cantina Laredo in early March. We had the entire patio to ourselves. Our server Ali was fabulous! We had two tables of folks and she kept up with our food and drink orders like a champ (and with a smile)! I tried the ceviche and it was zesty and delish! The table made guac was fabulous, smooth and creamy. We also had a large variety of tacos which were also tasty. I highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try!

My 1st visit to Cantina Laredo. It was a friends Birthday. Set up was in a protected side of patio which was perfect on the windy Sunday afternoon. Our server Alli was so awesome. She prepared table side several orders of Guacamole with special.l request. Served a tray full of Margaritas for a Birthday Toast. And then more drinks as we all love to celebrate! Then came an array of Tacos with beans and rice. All was delicious. I can't wait to return!

We came for a work lunch with about 20 of us. We had the private room off the dining room which had plenty of space for us. The service was quick for a group our size but most of the restaurant was slow since it was a Friday afternoon around 1:30. They had a good selection of different options on the lunch menu and the pricing was good for the portion sizes. A lot of us got enchiladas and tacos and a fair amount got the Chipotle chicken. The waiter was on his A game and got all food and drink orders correct which can be tricky with a large group. Nothing to complain about- we had a really good lunch

Always a great stop during shopping at town center. The chips and salsa are delicious. The bar tender is always attentive and busy! During the weekday lunch time it's not too busy. Recommend sitting at the bar for fast service!

Cantina Laredo is one of my favorite places to eat. When we lived in Jacksonville, one of my friends introduced me to this wonderful restaurant and I fell in love with it. I love that you get a warm and cold salsa (warm is my favorite of the two) and my favorite dish is the Enchiladas Suizas. I don't live near here anymore but any time I see one (I spotted one in Dallas airport before) I make it a point to stop in and eat. The service is always good (table side quac!) and the atmosphere is always on point. Truly one of my favorite places! The picture I've added was my birthday brownie from my last visit!

This is our third try one time every year for the last three years to see if this place has improved. Why? Because we are Texas Tex-Mex fans, and we love their restaurants in Arkansas and in Texas. But the one here in Jacksonville leaves me speechless and not in a good way. I recall writing a Google review over five years ago about how outdated and dirty this restaurant was. Nothing has changed. After five years, nothing has changed. It's still dirty and in need of a desperate renovation. It makes me sad because they are sitting on a gold mine being located in St. John's Town Center with Jacksonville having no higher end Mexican food restaurant. And that's what this restaurant is in other states. They keep the crowd coming in because of its location, but the ambience and the decor and the food are severely lacking. Our waitress was fantastic. And the manager was good because she did address our concerns. However, I only took one picture because I was so exasperated and that is of this dish. I requested the pork Carnitas to be substituted for a fresh grilled chicken breast. Please look at the chicken. Not only is it not a fresh grilled chicken breast, but it's a pressed chicken breast - not a real chicken breast . It's more like a deli meat chicken breast cubed into my dish. All I had to do is look at it and send it back immediately. We also enjoyed the cheese dip and the tableside guacamole. The cheese dip was not true cheese dip, but rather a cheese dip mixture. But I have to give kudos because the tableside guacamole always rocks. It was delicious. Here's to hoping that the restaurant sees my yelp review. Bring back the Cantina Laredo quality that I know from other states. Return to your high dining upscale Mexican experience. Update your decor and cash in on the true Cantina Laredo offering!

Hey, guess what? Cantina Laredo has an awesome patio! A bunch of my friends went there this month and loved it. We were tucked away in a quiet corner, tons of room, and didn't bother anyone else. They treated us great, starting with margaritas for a toast. Then, fresh guacamole at our table, amazing ceviche and tacos with all sorts of various meats and gorgeous garden toppings plus rice and beans. Seriously, they were fantastic, and I'd totally go back. They even offer $2 Mimosas and $2 Great Bloody Marys!

The staff were friendly but super busy due to inside volume of people. The food looks good and the steak was cooked fine, but the chimichurri had too much oil & fries were super salty. Like it was fried in it and topped off with it... I had let the person who brought the food out know (who works with the chef), and they never offered to bring me different fries. They just said they would tell the kitchen but didn't offer anything and so I didn't eat the fries at all. This plate being $38 before tax, I mean you want good fries....For the drink I got one of their mocktails which honestly was not up to par at all tasting like water and cucumber and nothing else, and I ended up ordering a soda... Again staff are friendly, but if management could pay attention a little more even when they're busy, it would help a lot, especially if someone is not happy with their food. I will not try this place again for a while as there are other places better than this that have similar dishes. Again when people are eating alone or in a group, make them happy with the food please...

And for the price, I wanted a little more than "well, I ate." We ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and Seasonal Breakfast Bowl, and neither gave me a reason to want to order them again. Service -- 3/5 Stars The service was fine. Our server was nice, but I do wish he would've checked on our table more often. Our Colombian coffees arrived cold and honestly weren't good at all. It took quite a while before we were able to catch our server and let him know so we could order something different. There wasn't anything particularly wrong with his attitude; the service just didn't feel very engaged or attentive. It felt more like we were an afterthought than a table actively being taken care of. Ambiance -- 1/5 Stars It's Another Broken Egg Cafe, so I wasn't exactly expecting some elaborate, curated vibe. It's a chain, and that's perfectly fine. What I wasn't expecting was the smell when we walked in. It smelled unpleasant enough that my first instinct was genuinely to turn around and leave. We stayed, but between that and the otherwise standard chain-restaurant atmosphere, there wasn't much about the ambiance I enjoyed. Overall -- 2/5 Stars Overall...yeah, I don't think we'd return. Cold coffee, lackluster food, and service that felt like an afterthought made the entire experience pretty underwhelming. Nothing was so outrageously terrible that I have a dramatic story to tell. It was almost worse than that--it was just incredibly forgettable. For nearly $50 for breakfast for two, I need a little more than "it was food."
