Happy Hour Menu

Came here for a work event. The service was phenomenal for hosting 21 people. They have a small private room, but the seating is pretty tight for 21 people. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Food was pretty good. Happy hour specials are available. $7.50 house margaritas were a thumbs up. They can and will sneak up on you. They offer table side guacamole, offer chips and salsa for the table. Even queso. I ordered a small house salad. The cilantro lime vinegar dressing is a must. Fajitas were good (chicken), nothing special. Ordered chocolate brownie and ice cream to go. Both good as well. Average Mexican cuisine. Not incredibly expensive.

This is a good place to go for dinner but I was disappointed with lunch. Everything was overly salty and the chips were cooked in old oil, so they tasted bad. The guacamole they make is good my fajitas were good but not as good as they were when I had then for dinner last month.

This is considered upscale Mexican food and it WAS upscale in regard to decor, service (Tory was AMAZING!), food (the relleno de camarones had layers of flavors!! and the salsa was on point), and drinks (the cucumber chili marg was crisp & refreshing ). The only un-upscale part of the meal was the fly buzzing around my food.

I have to start this review by first complementing Luci! First impression speaks volumes and this is $1 million hostess here! Her humor, genuine, smile, and professionalism go beyond reproach! Logan was our server and I have to say he was great! Very patient as the four of us kept talking and he wanted to know if we were ready to order and when we realized we were talking so much he just handled it like a true champ. Gave us our time to catch up and then came back. His knowledge of the menu was outstanding, and his recommendations were spot on. Each of us interestingly enough had tacos. The traditional taco was a bit salty from my taste, but had good flavor. The sirloin taco was outstanding. The restaurant is clean, warm and inviting. What really sets it off though is the outstanding customer service received by Logan and Luci!!! They truly made this a special visit

I attended a friends birthday party at Cantina Laredo in early March. We had the entire patio to ourselves. Our server Ali was fabulous! We had two tables of folks and she kept up with our food and drink orders like a champ (and with a smile)! I tried the ceviche and it was zesty and delish! The table made guac was fabulous, smooth and creamy. We also had a large variety of tacos which were also tasty. I highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try!

My 1st visit to Cantina Laredo. It was a friends Birthday. Set up was in a protected side of patio which was perfect on the windy Sunday afternoon. Our server Alli was so awesome. She prepared table side several orders of Guacamole with special.l request. Served a tray full of Margaritas for a Birthday Toast. And then more drinks as we all love to celebrate! Then came an array of Tacos with beans and rice. All was delicious. I can't wait to return!

We came for a work lunch with about 20 of us. We had the private room off the dining room which had plenty of space for us. The service was quick for a group our size but most of the restaurant was slow since it was a Friday afternoon around 1:30. They had a good selection of different options on the lunch menu and the pricing was good for the portion sizes. A lot of us got enchiladas and tacos and a fair amount got the Chipotle chicken. The waiter was on his A game and got all food and drink orders correct which can be tricky with a large group. Nothing to complain about- we had a really good lunch

Always a great stop during shopping at town center. The chips and salsa are delicious. The bar tender is always attentive and busy! During the weekday lunch time it's not too busy. Recommend sitting at the bar for fast service!

Cantina Laredo is one of my favorite places to eat. When we lived in Jacksonville, one of my friends introduced me to this wonderful restaurant and I fell in love with it. I love that you get a warm and cold salsa (warm is my favorite of the two) and my favorite dish is the Enchiladas Suizas. I don't live near here anymore but any time I see one (I spotted one in Dallas airport before) I make it a point to stop in and eat. The service is always good (table side quac!) and the atmosphere is always on point. Truly one of my favorite places! The picture I've added was my birthday brownie from my last visit!

This is our third try one time every year for the last three years to see if this place has improved. Why? Because we are Texas Tex-Mex fans, and we love their restaurants in Arkansas and in Texas. But the one here in Jacksonville leaves me speechless and not in a good way. I recall writing a Google review over five years ago about how outdated and dirty this restaurant was. Nothing has changed. After five years, nothing has changed. It's still dirty and in need of a desperate renovation. It makes me sad because they are sitting on a gold mine being located in St. John's Town Center with Jacksonville having no higher end Mexican food restaurant. And that's what this restaurant is in other states. They keep the crowd coming in because of its location, but the ambience and the decor and the food are severely lacking. Our waitress was fantastic. And the manager was good because she did address our concerns. However, I only took one picture because I was so exasperated and that is of this dish. I requested the pork Carnitas to be substituted for a fresh grilled chicken breast. Please look at the chicken. Not only is it not a fresh grilled chicken breast, but it's a pressed chicken breast - not a real chicken breast . It's more like a deli meat chicken breast cubed into my dish. All I had to do is look at it and send it back immediately. We also enjoyed the cheese dip and the tableside guacamole. The cheese dip was not true cheese dip, but rather a cheese dip mixture. But I have to give kudos because the tableside guacamole always rocks. It was delicious. Here's to hoping that the restaurant sees my yelp review. Bring back the Cantina Laredo quality that I know from other states. Return to your high dining upscale Mexican experience. Update your decor and cash in on the true Cantina Laredo offering!

I came here for happy hour with my husband and a friend on a Friday evening. It was not too crowded. Their happy hour is mon- Friday 4-7 PM. They serve happy hour food and drinks at the bar and happy hour drinks anywhere else around the restaurant. You get free chips and salsa. The atmosphere was nice and service was quick. Not a bad place for fun happy hour experience!

Hey, guess what? Cantina Laredo has an awesome patio! A bunch of my friends went there this month and loved it. We were tucked away in a quiet corner, tons of room, and didn't bother anyone else. They treated us great, starting with margaritas for a toast. Then, fresh guacamole at our table, amazing ceviche and tacos with all sorts of various meats and gorgeous garden toppings plus rice and beans. Seriously, they were fantastic, and I'd totally go back. They even offer $2 Mimosas and $2 Great Bloody Marys!

Not Mexican cuisine and the quality has declined since the pandemic. A soggy mess with no flavor in the tacos.

Even though we had a reservation, it didn't seem to make a difference. We waited about 15 minutes just to find a host or hostess to be seated. During that time, we saw several other groups leave because no one was available to greet or seat them. It wasn't the best first impression and definitely set the tone for the visit. Once we were seated, the food was excellent. You can really tell that everything is made from scratch, and the quality and freshness stood out. The Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts, topped with garlic aioli and Parmesan cheese, were delicious and packed with flavor. I also ordered the Kale Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, which was fresh and well-balanced with house greens, Parmesan cheese, and Caesar vinaigrette. My little ones ordered the Crispy Southern Fried Chicken Fingers with fries, and they both really enjoyed their meals. Overall, the food was definitely the highlight of our visit, but the service and lack of organization upon arrival could use improvement. If they can address the front-of-house experience, it would make for a much better visit.

We've gone there for Valentine's Day, birthdays and even with friends and family the night before our wedding. So when Lauren suggested it for tonight, the first thing I said was "but it's not a special occasion" lol. Per usual, we made it a special occasion just because. They change over from the lunch menu to dinner at 5 and we got there a little early, so we took a seat at the bar. Good thing we did because that allowed me to start with their amazing Tiramisu Martini! At 5, we cashed out at the bar and headed to our table where we started with their bread House Bread. We've had the bread so many times before but it's such a great go-to. After that, I ordered one of their specials for tonight which was a twist on their Risotto that included mussels. I'm not very big on tomatoes but I left them in for this because I've been trying to just trust these great chefs in our area and enjoy the dishes the way they intended them. And again, I'm glad I did. I didn't exactly scarf down the tomatoes but they did add something to the overall flavor, so I'm glad I left them in. Lauren had the Hand Cut Fettuccine. She LOVED it. She said it hit every note on the flavor palette. Take a look at the attached photos and you'll see how much she loved it. She said it was sweet, savory, tangy and everything in between. Per usual, we finished up with Midtown Table Ice Craam. I *rarely* use this phrase but if you haven't had it, you're just plain missing out. Take a look at the ingredients list on the menu photo I've included. You'll probably say the say thing I said the first time, which was "h*ll to the no". We literally had to be talking into trying it by a server a while back. I've never been more happy with the result of arm twisting in my life. It's just so, so good. So yeah, we didn't have a special occasion as a reason to go to Midtown Table but I'm so glad my wife reminded me that every day can be a special occasion if you want to. What a fabulous dinner. This review originally appeared in the Jacksonville Fun, Eats & Drinks Facebook group.

From the moment we walked in until we left, the staff was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. We started with the Calabrian chili wings. They were crispy, hot, and packed with flavor. My only criticisms are that a few of the wings could have used a little more of the Calabrian glaze, they were disrespectfully small, they were all flats, and surprisingly, the restaurant doesn't serve blue cheese dressing despite offering several dishes featuring blue cheese. For my entrée, I ordered the hand-cut fettuccine with glacier blue cheese cream sauce, Calabrian honey, tomato confit, crispy pancetta, and added steak. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the dish had an incredible balance of sweet and savory flavors. I've ordered this same dish on all three visits because it's that good. Every time I tell myself I'm going to try something different, and every time I end up ordering it again. My wife ordered the vodka pizza, and it was excellent. After trying a slice, I can confidently recommend it. On future visits, we'll probably order the pizza as an appetizer to share. It's delicious, easily shareable, and a much better value than the wings or some of the other starters. We also enjoyed a couple of cocktails, and each one was excellent. The frozen fruit and vegetables embedded in the ice cubes were a creative touch that made the drinks feel even more special. If I had one suggestion, it would be to serve bread with the pasta dishes. It would be the perfect accompaniment to soak up every last bit of those incredible sauces. Overall, Midtown Table continues to impress. The food is consistently excellent, the cocktails are creative, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. If you're looking for one of the best dining experiences in the area, Midtown Table absolutely deserves a visit

What I Ordered: - Tokyo: For $16.95, I thought this was reasonably priced and excited to try as reading reviews raved about the umami flavor of their ramen. Without exaggeration, this was a life-changing ramen. The best ramen that I've had in my life!! The torched egg was genius and added a beautiful texture to the rich, and flavorful broth. The fried chicken thigh was a delicious protein and cooked so well. Honestly, every ingredient was crafted well and combined to make such a beautiful bowl. - Lychee Martini: What better way to toast to life, then with a martini! The second thing that thoroughly surprised and bothered me was after ordering another round of drinks, the second the drink was put at our table the waitress came over to check us out.
