Speaking of which... My best friend Rob took one look at that classic twin-prop Beech 18 on the wall and the hairs on his arms stood straight up. Turns out he actually flew one of those exact legends back in the day. There's a killer story behind it -- ask the staff about it, they'll hook you up with the full tale. Goosebumps guaranteed. From where we were sitting (not part of the group involved), I noticed a man becoming aggressive toward another nearby group--yelling at them and eventually shoving someone, which led to a fight. As someone simply watching it unfold, it was pretty clear who escalated the situation. What was most surprising, though, was how it was handled. The owner appeared to side with the individual who initiated the confrontation and ultimately removed the group instead. Later, we heard that the man involved was actually a friend of the owner. From an outside perspective, the group that was asked to leave seemed calm and was minding their business before things escalated. Watching everything unfold--and seeing how it was handled--left a really negative impression. Unfortunately, that experience made the environment feel uncomfortable and biased, which is disappointing because the night had started on such a positive note.
