    This the rude old lady

there's a rude old lady with the worst attitude she clearly does not want to work here. her coworker had to jump in because she saw how awful she was being. The lady beautiful on her right arm was the one who jumped in and was super kind. It just sucks how one person can really ruin your whole experience. We tried ordering the breakfast in the beginning, and the old lady said that the kitchen was closed in the rudest way possible. And the food is not even that great it actually kind of old and this is the second time we got food here both times they tasted old.

    Umm black picadillo?

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! Keep giving them the benefit of the doubt and keep going back and every time the quality continues to decline. Go early so you think your getting fresh pastries but get heated up pastries from the day before. The croquettes tasted only of grease ham taste was nonexistent . It seems like they refry them. I won't even get started on the customer service. Drive further to another location or maybe even go to Publix. Looking forward to the opening of the new location of Party Cake by Tamiami Airport. I didn't have a good experience at this bakery and not because of the people, they were nice but the food was not as fresh as I would expect it.

There's something about bakeries that just lead to excitement! The showcasing of all the colorful pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts! The aroma of all things terrible for my thighs! Sometimes in life I just have to give in and indulge a little. They have so many options its hard to choose. You have your croquettas(ham, cheese,or chicken), empanadas(both chicken or beef or Colombian style) sweet pastries(guava & cheese or coconut etc),meat filled pastries, and then they have all these breakfast sandwiches like scrambled eggs with cheese and some protein on Cuban bread or a croissant. Then they have their traditional cuban steak sandwiches, media noche sandwich and then some. It's all good here, especially the cafe con léche! So whether needing a hot breakfast, a good lunch, or needing platters for a party or some festivity,Vicky's has it all!

ZERO STARS* do not waste your time coming here. absolutely disgusting and the customer service is trash. first time coming here and we are from cali so we are used to delicious sweets, first time trying cuban desserts and they were absolutely, distraughtfully disgusting!!!! i am so scarred because of this. like seriously. what is going on? how are they in business ?!?!?!

    Bocaditos

I love this place but you must check any and all prepared food prior to leaving the establishment. For the second time since I remember, the bocaditos (pasta) that I have purchased to go, have mold in/on them. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I have brought this to their attention, but they still refuse to place date labels and or routinely check the food they are placing in the fridge.

Not all Vicky Bakeries are created equal. This location does make good fresh pastries and the desserts are pretty original. I grew up eating only Cuban desserts with recipes that came from Cuba. I wouldn't say it's top notch but they are good. The pastries like pastel de guava are on the little sweeter side which I assume most people may not like but I do. . The staff is why I took off the star. They are just there to do their job and nothing more. They should be a little more friendlier since they are in the service industry. The coffee is okay, it doesn't taste great but it's good. I do love that this place is on the way to my job so that's a perk for me because there are only 2 bakeries on the way and I like this one. It's early on a Saturday so it's time for me to get another cafe con leche ;).

I love me some Cuban Bakeries and always so happy when I find a good one! Today while in Miami we found this bakery. The line was long but the staff got through the line fast. Lots of pastries! They ALL looked so good! Hubby and I had a tostada with croquets it's our usual whenever we hit up a Cuban bakery, we also ordered guava pastry, some sweets and bread pudding to go. I can comment that the bread (tostadas) tasted SUPER fresh! Like they just made it, nice and warm with butter. Haven't eaten the pastries yet but the guava is oozing out the sides (which is how I determine a good guava pastry) can't wait to munch on them later. Service was nice, a lil bit of a wait cause it IS packed. But well worth it. The inside is really cute, couple of tables on the inside and out. We don't drink coffee but it did smell good. We had a mango and Mamey milkshake which tasted a lil off so we didn't finish them. Other than that it's definitely a nice bakery to check out!

AMBIANCE Parking: Dedicated lot and surrounding parking options, though it can get busy during peak hours. Seating: Plenty! Large dining rooms capable of accommodating individuals, families, tour groups, and everyone in between. Vibes: Welcome to Little Havana. It's a bit spaced out for you to experience Cuban culture. The restaurant itself gives you that classic, old-school charm with some history of the Cuban community. I dig the Cuban music giving it a nice cultural touch. This spot is no hidden gem. This is a common place for everyone - locals to tourists. FOOD / DRINKS Cubano (Recommend) Ofcourse you have to get a Cubano. Nothing too flashy but definitely gets the job done. Classic pressed bread with a satisfying crunch with a medley of roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard to give it a nice savory and comforting taste. Every bite had a good balance of texture and flavor. CUSTOMER SERVICE Awesome! Efficient and experienced. They know this place serves a lot of people so they know they had to come correct. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. Great selections, fair prices, and a solid cultural experience. Versailles does a great job perserving and celebrating Cuban culture. For those interested for that Cuban-Miami experience, this is the place to be. TIPS * Come hungry--the portions are generous

The food is the kind of Cuban cooking that makes you go quiet for a second: a beef and rice bowl with black beans, sweet plantains, and avocado that was rich and deep and comforting, plus a flaky empanada that disappeared in about four bites. An older waitress served our table. She first brought us calamari that was undercooked, sticky, and raw. She replaced it with octopus, which was more expensive, and we agreed to keep it. We also asked for tap water, but she brought us bottled water instead, which cost $10. The restaurant was very dark, making it difficult to notice these things right away. Before we had a chance to review everything, the food was already served. When the check arrived, she pressured me to pay quickly, so I didn't have enough time to carefully review the bill. Later, I realized we had been charged for additional side dishes that we never ordered, which increased the total significantly. This restaurant is wonderful and doesn't need these kinds of tactics. I only wish they employed more honest waitstaff. My advice is to carefully check your order and your bill before paying so you don't end up spending extra money or dealing with unnecessary stress that could ruin an otherwise enjoyable evening. I truly loved the atmosphere and the food, but I was very disappointed by the service. For me, the ambiance and food deserve 5 stars, while the service deserves only 1 star. That averages out to a 3-star review.
