The last time I went there, the gentleman left the counter and came to my car and helped me remove the cabin air filter. Which I would've had no idea where it was located otherwise. He then proceeded to help me find an affordable option to treat my vehicle for rodents. He educated me about looking for signs of them and then gave me a product that cost less than $10 to purchase. I left feeling satisfied and amazed at the quality of customer service. The next time I called advanced auto parts and asked if they had any products like the one that the other employee had recommended and the employee on the phone answered confidently to just use peppermint oil. Yesterday I ordered peppermint oil and expected to come in today. They went above and beyond by giving me advice that was helpful and effective without asking me to pay anything. This to me says that they value quality customer service over a price tag. I rely on advanced auto parts in Worcester on W. Boylston St. for education and quality service .

I gave her my phone number for the warranty. When I got back later to bring my old battery she did not find me in the system. She blamed the system but in fact she put the wrong number. A giant man comes and find me in a different number but he deny my money for the old battery jus because I told the lady that she put in the wrong number. They pushed me out of the store without giving me my money even though they find me in the system. just because her feeling was hurt when I told her that she put a wrong number. This people act like thugs in the street. They do not care about costumers that they spend their money there. I will ask everybody to avoid going there for anything.

Always been a good experience in this store. Convenient location; the parking can be a little tight at times, but manageable.

The…read moreemployees there even offered to put my newly purchased windshield wipers on for me on multiple occasions. When I went in to C.A.P. , I expected the same. Instead, I felt as if I was interrupting a hang-out session. They gave me the battery I needed, but I later discovered that I could have bought a cheaper version that they probably had, but probably didn't tell me about because they needed to make their daily goal and I'm quite clearly a girl that doesn't know anything about cars. (I'm pretty sure I could have done without the NASCAR high-performance battery for my beat up car that probably won't last until the end of the year, especially on my tight budget.) In my experience at other car parts stores, I have always been offered multiple choices of parts that will fit my car and prices that range from low to high. Here, I just got an, "okay, it will be $122.99". When the 4 or 5 employees behind the counter all saw me almost drop the battery while removing it from the counter because it was much heavier than expected, no one even offered to get the door for me...they all just stood staring at me struggling with the weight of the battery (note: I was wearing a visible wrist brace, which I'm sure the employee saw, because I have carpal tunnel syndrome and because of that I have a weak arm). I should probably also add that there were no other customers in the store and it didn't seem like they were doing any work of any sort. (I should know because I work in retail.) When I went to return the old battery core, I came in and placed the battery on the counter where I was greeted with a dead stare rather than a, "how can I help you?", so I had to start the conversation. I didn't even get a "hello". If you're looking for the absolute bare minimum amount of customer service, this is the place to go. If you would like some common decency, go somewhere else. Next time, I will drive the extra few miles.

This company is a complete SCAM! Everything sounds good & it seems legit, but I am not one to just…read moregive my money away. The lady "Rachel" pretty much called me time after time after time trying to persuade me to purchase and/or put a deposit down for an engine that was supposedly 20,000-25,000 driven miles. She told me that I could put a $200 deposit down & that they'd reach out to try to find a local mechanic in my area that would be able to install. After that I'd pay the remaining $2500 for the shipment. They did in fact do all of that & I was able to talk with the mechanic as well, but he wasn't familiar with them. I'm very familiar with the mechanic because his business is less than 10 minutes from my house. I became suspicious after asking for a refund of the deposit & she then tells me that there would be a $800 restocking fee for cancelling. I then told her that I wouldn't be paying a restocking fee because that was never discussed. What was discussed was that if I didn't want to use the chosen mechanic that they'd refund the deposit in full. I informed "Rachel" that I'd be contacting my lawyer & that they'd hear from him concerning the matter. The whole conversation changed at that point & within a day my deposit was placed back on my card. I wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with this company at all.
