LEXIE WAS A GEM!!!…read more We came in a bachelorette (group of 18) as many of us have worked in the service industry we understand a delay in service but unfortunately the male bartenders ignored us for over 20min finally we were served and then SAVED BY LEXIE we would of left if it wasn't for her and then a table, bottle service and buckets later (even got our bride to spin the wheel that the male bartender told us was closed and no) LEXIE got our service! She was absolutely amazing and I could not say anything more highly about her! She was super tentative making sure we had everything we needed! AMAZING SERVICE ON LEXIE PART!

HOT TO TROT After…read morehours at this this sports bar can heat up the night life. On Saturdays the music spinning is classic club hits from the early 2000s to 2010's. There is a 'DJ' but he is more like an MC, because the music is on a preset playlist that syncs with the respective music video playing on all the TVs in the venue. The songs are only played a minute of the track before it plays the next tune, but it still gets the people moving. There is no dance floor , perse, but people will just find a corner or open space to do all their twerking. It is really casual, yet I did see a bachelorette party in there shaking bridesmaid booties. Be ready for when they play 'SHOTS' by LMFAO and Lil Jon, because that's when the waitresses stand on the bar counter and start pouring free liquor down anyone one's mouth who is willing get alcohol dripped all over them in the process. It is much like the bars in Mexico without the annoying whistles and gropey men, thank goodness! It stays warm throughout the bar, but there is some relief with misters on the patio and big industrial fans placed here and there on the inside. Working up a sweat will definitely make you want to drink more. Usually there is a line to get in but it goes fast. Guys will have to be checked by security to make sure you aren't carrying a blick or stabby objects. The good thing is that there is no cover charge, cuz entry fees are not cool.

I asked two nice gents at the bar if they'd mind making room for me to pull up an unused stool a couple nearby let me move. Such kindness by everyone involved! This is the norm here and includes the entire staff. New buddies Shane and John, who made room for me and I, enjoyed our conversation, the match, and great atmosphere. I ordered my favorite (off-menu) Cuban sandwich with a side of extreme horseradish and steak fries. So good I forgot to get a pic. After settling my tab I returned to the also great pet grooming spot nearby to bring our pooches home. I would've enjoyed staying but duty called. Once home I received a wonderful thank-you text from John with a photo. His first (& highly likely not the last) Cuban sandwich! So delicious. Photo is his. What an incredible day!

As a side, y'all Ranch eaters need to grow up and be adults and start ordering Bleu Cheese. There's a whole different taste explosion when you stop eating Chicken tendies with ranch, a toy and a cleverly shaped box it all comes in. Come on over to the Bleu Cheese side and watch your finances grow, you'll find the woman of your dreams (or man), you'll drive a car instead of taking a Segway to work; possibilities are endless. I digress... Tavern Grille is one of my favorite Scottsdale staples. It's worth anyone's time to drop in and enjoy the experience.

My friends thought it could have been more "refreshing" (seems more wine heavy but was still delicious to me!) Bread and garlic butter - A must order. So tasty. We weren't ready! I think he was disappointed that we were not going to build a big bar tab. Only 2 of us ordered from the bar list. Now to the food. We've eaten at this place many many times over the years. And returned because the food and service were excellent. However this time, our food was far from what we expected, and the waiter seemed like he wished he were anywhere else but there! The appetizer ordered was so haphazardly put on the plate, and was also not tasty. My husband's salmon was thin and dry. I don't think this place has seen any updating since it opened. Currently, it feels dank and dirty with no signs of welcoming any changes. It's always sad to see the neglect of management/investors in not protecting their stock in trade- their reputation and respect for their customers.

I've been hearing sooo much about this place, so of course I had to finally try it. We got super…read morelucky because they were open late. I think until 10 PM if I remember correctly. The outside honestly looked like one of those cozy restaurants you'd see in a K-drama with the glowing lights and busy vibe. When we walked in, it was already pretty packed, and more people kept coming in after us, so that's always a good sign lol. The service was also amazing and everyone was really nice. Obviously we had to order the fried chicken, and I loved that all the sauces came on the side so you could dip and try different flavors without the chicken getting soggy. And the biggest surprise for me was the cheesy corn topped with pork. I would have never thought of that combo myself, but it was actually so good. Creamy, savory, cheesy perfection. We went pretty late at night, so parking was easy for us, but I could definitely see it getting hectic during the day since it's in the same plaza as H Mart. So best to double check before going!

After deciding on fried chicken, instead of traditional wings, it took way too long to place an order despite 5 employees (not sure if they were actually employees, it just seemed like 5 people running a co op and hanging out or something) being near us. As we were waiting for our food, we glanced around and saw many odd things like a filing cabinet used to store chopsticks and other items. We wanted to sit at the bar but half of it was taken by employees, boxes of shoes, really random items. After about 15 minutes the chicken came out. No sign of the ranch that we requested, but at least we had food. After looking at the chicken, it became apparent that they had brought us wings. I asked the employee if they had made a mistake, but he let me know that their fried chicken is all wings, despite the word "wings" never appearing on the menu in the fried chicken section. The saving grace here is that the chicken WINGS were quite tasty. The breading was crispy and the sauces were good. I could see how this would get soggy for takeout, so I recommend dining in for fried chicken WINGS. Overall, super weird place but the chicken WINGS are good.

A Hidden Gem Worth the Drive!…read more I had the most amazing chicken dinner at Caribbean Palms! The chicken was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, with just the right amount of spice. The rice was absolutely delicious, and the plantains were cooked to perfection. What truly made the experience exceptional was the outstanding customer service. We interacted with three different staff members during our visit, and every single one was warm, welcoming, polite, and genuinely kind. You can tell they take pride in both their food and hospitality. I drove over 30 minutes from the other side of town to dine here, and it was worth every minute of the drive. There was a steady stream of customers picking up to-go orders, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food. While takeout is clearly popular, I highly recommend dining in and enjoying the full experience. This family-owned restaurant is a true hidden gem, and honestly, it serves the best Caribbean food I've ever had. I will absolutely be back and will be recommending Caribbean Palms to everyone I know!

From the outside it doesn't look as large on the inside but it is! If you're looking for a spot to have an event, this could be it. We were set quickly b/c it was a weekday and it wasn't crowded at all. We ordered curry chicken patties, jerk shrimp, jerk chicken and two alcoholic drinks. Everything was delicious! If and when I'm back in Scottsdale, this is on the list. Now the only downside is you have to choose between the plantains and cabbage.
