Mark after he belittled his staff

Crust Brothers Pizza - We have been going here for a couple years, and always had a pleasant experience and the pizza is amazing! On Monday evening, we were there at 4:15 PM, and the staff was lively and attentive and wonderful. A manager named Mark came out and proceeded to admonish the staff and was pointing fingers, raising his voice at them, being totally unprofessional and making everyone uncomfortable, including the customers. He even made our wonderful young waitress start to cry. That made me so angry. Very disappointed with what happened I think people should know that this manager needs to be dealt with. If anyone knows the owners, please pass this along. I found out his name is Mark, and here is a picture of him after he ran off and belittled all of his staff for no apparent reason. Since I'm not a confrontational person, I didn't feel comfortable, confronting him directly, but I did ask some of the staff members why that happened and they said that he is very moody and does not really ever treat them well.

We ordered delivery. The margherita pizza I ordered was tasty would I order again probably not. But everything was fresh and they gave a good amount of toppings.

DELICIOUS This is one of my favorite pizza places by far! Their sandwiches are also phenomenal. Don't even get me started on the garlic bread, can't be beat. I've been here more times than I can count and every time it hits! They never miss! I tried the pepperoni chips this time and those were strangely good. Their ranch that they put on the side is so yummy, I want some for home! The pizza is cut in these cute little squares for a perfect bite size every time. The crust is what I love the most, so crispy! You can't go wrong with anything here. Obviously will be back again and again! They have cute indoor or outdoor seating and the staff is extremely friendly. The owner is very nice and he makes sure everyone is taken care of!

This pizza was awesome!! We will definitely order it again before leaving back to Richmond. It reminded me of my hometown Pizza joint in Cleveland Ohio. The crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are fresh. The saltines of the pepperoni, sausage and cheese was balanced by the onions, peppers and black olives. We ordered it for delivery at the awesome camelback resort in Scottsdale which I will be reviewing soon. Anyways, the delivery driver was prompt and very nice. He found my room with ease and made sure the handoff was secure. The pizza was still super hot and crispy and smelled amazing. We will be ordering again.

I thought I'd do an updated review. Today I went with a couple of friends. I had a Caesar salad to start which was off the charts followed by a large pepperoni and sausage pizza well done (I like it extra crispy). Nice people and amazing food. What more do you want?

I think this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. It's a thin crust, crispy version that's a Midwest staple. Yesterday we had a personal pizza plus an Italian sub. This was the first sub that I've had there, and it was wonderful. Once again, one of the best ever. As always, everyone was incredibly friendly and the service was great. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Kind of a strip mall pizza joint with a cool, retro interior. The menu has some good options - Build Your Pizza, specialty pizzas, salads, and subs. We opted to start with a Caesar salad. A good sized portion that served 3 of us with some to spare. For pizza we went for the Cory's Creation and pepperoni & jalapeno. The pepperoni and jalapeno was delicious - thin, crispy crust with plenty of toppings. The Cory's Creation was good, but given the amount of cheese that is on it - quite greasy in the end. Service is good as well - friendly and engaging. In the area - worth a look. N*joy

Stopped in for a speedy snack before my movie. My server was great. Sweet and fast. I ordered a side wedge. It was fresh though a bit too heavy on dressing and had a bit of a ginger like aftertaste i didn't love. I'll give it a 4.

Ask the Community - Crust Brothers Pizza

    Is the patio pup friendly?

    No patio

Do you have a taco pizza? It has taken me 28 years to find a crust like this in Arizona. Where I grew up in the PNW, this crust is the norm. Now all I need to do is find a taco pizza like Papa Pete's, Pietro's or Abby Legendary Pizza

Hello Allen, we are glad that you have found a crust in Arizona. At this time we do not offer a taco pizza. Thank you for you support.

Do you have gluten free pizzas?

I believe they do. But I would call and make sure before going. The pizza was delicious!

Can you request that your pizza be sliced in triangles instead of squares?

I sure hope so! I can't even figure out how you're supposed to eat a pizza cut in squares with soggy pieces in the center - how do you pick them up?

Do you have a Happy Hour?

We do not. Our food and beverage are aggressively priced so everyone gets a great value all day, every day. Hope to see you soon. Sincerely, Mark!

Do you have a non-service dog friendly patio?

As of Tuesday February 28th 2023, Crust Brothers will no longer be a dog friendly restaurant. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to make this difficult decision.…

    Do you have vegan options?

    Yes

    Is delivery available?

Yes, you can order through Grubhub and Uber Eats.

You order first and then find a seat, so it's a little bit of a shuffle, but the woman behind the counter was genuinely helpful with recommendations and what's popular. And once we ordered, the food came out pretty fast. We kicked things off with the Big Dill appetizer, and when they say "giant," they're not kidding. It's a comically large pickle, seasoned up and cut into four spears. The seasoning was actually really good, nice flavor, the right amount of spice. I'll be honest: I'm not a huge pickle person, so I didn't fall in love... but if you are a pickle person, this is absolutely your moment. I tried the brunch burrito and it was a solid portion, filling, well-built, and the avocado salsa helped a lot (I was using it like a cheat code). The only reason I wouldn't come back specifically for that burrito is the flavors didn't really pop for me, and I wished the potatoes had more crisp and there was more seasoning on the eggs. It wasn't bad at all just not a "I'm still thinking about this tomorrow" type of burrito. The drinks though? Really unique, I had the French toast latte and the banana hazelnut latte, and they serve them in this super cool commercial can sealer setup. It's such a clever touch as if your coffee came with packaging confidence. Better yet, the lattes were actually delicious and you could taste the quality of the beans underneath the flavors. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak, and it's a BIG sandwich on what tastes like a homemade sesame hoagie. The "shaved ribeye" looked more like finely chopped/ground ribeye, but honestly... it worked. It tasted great with the cheese sauce and hit the spot. The fries that came with it were steak fries, cooked to perfection, with a few extra-crispy pieces mixed in (which is basically the fry jackpot). And then there was the avocado + burrata bagel... which might be the best bagel I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. The everything bagel was fresh, toasted perfectly, and the toppings blended together so well that every bite somehow got better than the last. I also tried the lox and it was worth the money, generous smoked salmon, capers, tomato, the whole deal. Bottom line: there's a lot to love here, and it's going to take me a few more visits to work through all the menu items that look worth trying. Come hungry, expect a line at peak brunch, and don't leave without that avocado burrata bagel (and maybe one of those sealed lattes, because it's just fun).

For our bagel, we ordered an everything bagel with charcuterie cream cheese, which I can best describe as everything but the kitchen sink - capicola, mortadella, salami, provolone, artichokes, tomoatoes, roasted peppers, pepperocini, olives and red onion - all chopped up and mixed into the cream cheese. Somehow it all seems to work in terms of flavor, but as for the bagel itself I wish it were a bit bigger and had more chew, although it was decent. The biggest disappointment was with our cinnamon roll and coffees. They were out of the regular cinnamon roll so we ordered the salted caramel one. The sad part was it was cold. I mean who wants a cold cinnamon roll, even the one at Cinnabon is warm. As for the coffees, we ordered the banana hazelnut and strawberry matcha. We assumed the coffees would be hot but were given iced coffees. Only later we noticed they can be ordered either hot or iced, and wished the server had asked for our preference. As for the iced coffees, I'm not quite sure I understand the whole concept of putting them in soda cans, as the foam got stuck to the top of the can and all the flavor sank down to the bottom.
