The family had been out in the sun all morning - we needed lunch. Tired of burgers we looked for pizza places. This place was between where we were and our hotel - so why not give it a try. We had garlic cheese bread, the meatball sub, the chicken sub, and a 10inch pizza. We didn't take photos because we dove right in. The chicken sub was perfect. Two slices of chicken breast (thick) with the perfect tangy vinaigrette and banana peppers. My picky daughter even ate half of it! The wife said the meatball was perfect. Not spicy (sometimes marinara has a kick) The other kiddo had the pizza and he ate the whole thing. Was a little greasy but it was pepperoni - so you can't really avoid that. All in all it was great food - quiet atmosphere - nice server -- and best of all a good value. It's hard to eat out for a family of four for less than $100 - we were about 65 with everyone eating, an appetizer, 2 Sammie's, a 10 inch pizza and my daughter had cheese bread. Wow- it's been four years since I was here last. I meant to come back but we don't live nearby, and time flies...This place is really great! Once again my son and I ordered the garlic cheese bread - fantastic, crisp and garlicky. We split a 10" cheese/pepperoni pizza and had a very nice surprise. I would bet that our server was a manager (or a Crust Brother) because he set our pizza down and announced he'd made us a replacement that would be coming out free of charge because he felt this one wasn't good enough. What?! It looked quite fine to us - just a small area you could nitpick if you were a jerk. And now we would be receiving a full second pizza for free. We thought that was very cool of him. I didn't catch his name but his service game was on point. Now I MUST bring the rest of the family out here to enjoy this wonderful place and try more items on the menu. Just as great as the last time! We got the supreme pizza add banana peppers. And a pitcher of cold beer. Came out in a great amount of time. Our server was wonderful. They had the doors open (which was great before someone started smoking outside). I asked if they could shut the main one and they were super awesome about it. Sorry, I'm not a mean person but as a girl with asthma who doesn't enjoy smoke filled pizza, it was very accommodating and kind. This pizza was awesome!! We will definitely order it again before leaving back to Richmond. It reminded me of my hometown Pizza joint in Cleveland Ohio. The crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are fresh. The saltines of the pepperoni, sausage and cheese was balanced by the onions, peppers and black olives. We ordered it for delivery at the awesome camelback resort in Scottsdale which I will be reviewing soon. Anyways, the delivery driver was prompt and very nice. I first discovered Crust Brothers Pizza shortly after it opened in 2019. At that time, I was working on my driver's permit, and when I saw the high ratings of Crust Brothers Pizza, I decided to drive over and try it. While I do not remember what I got there the first time, it involved pepperoni, which is my favorite pizza topping. The style of pepperoni they serve is fantastic. I especially like the shape of the pepperoni, like little cups. In my opinion, Crust Brothers Pizza is the best pizza in Arizona. It is a nice, thin, Ohio-style pizza crust, and I like the generous amount of topping they put on their pizzas. Whenever I visit Crust Brothers, I usually get two different meats, two different vegetables, and garlic. Their barbecue chicken pizza is also fantastic, as are their salads and wings. The service is outstanding. I especially like how the owner, Mark, makes me feel welcome whenever I visit. He always makes me feel right at home as I enjoy a delicious meal. The other staff members are also friendly and helpful. I also appreciate how patient they are whenever I need some time to decide what I am going to eat on any particular day. I also like that the restaurant gives you the option of sitting anywhere. The atmosphere is also great, with walls covered in famous quotes from some of the greatest movies of all time. Crust Brothers Pizza is an excellent option for anyone looking for a pizza place in the Phoenix area. I highly recommend it and am looking forward to my next visit when I am in the Scottsdale area. read more

DELICIOUS This is one of my favorite pizza places by far! Their sandwiches are also phenomenal. Don't even get me started on the garlic bread, can't be beat. I've been here more times than I can count and every time it hits! They never miss! I tried the pepperoni chips this time and those were strangely good. Their ranch that they put on the side is so yummy, I want some for home! The pizza is cut in these cute little squares for a perfect bite size every time. The crust is what I love the most, so crispy! You can't go wrong with anything here. Obviously will be back again and again! Crust Brothers Pizza - We have been going here for a couple years, and always had a pleasant experience and the pizza is amazing! On Monday evening, we were there at 4:15 PM, and the staff was lively and attentive and wonderful. A manager named Mark came out and proceeded to admonish the staff and was pointing fingers, raising his voice at them, being totally unprofessional and making everyone uncomfortable, including the customers. He even made our wonderful young waitress start to cry. That made me so angry. Very disappointed with what happened I think people should know that this manager needs to be dealt with. If anyone knows the owners, please pass this along. I found out his name is Mark, and here is a picture of him after he ran off and belittled all of his staff for no apparent reason. Since I'm not a confrontational person, I didn't feel comfortable, confronting him directly, but I did ask some of the staff members why that happened and they said that he is very moody and does not really ever treat them well. read more

Tuesdays are 20% off take-out and if you pay via Toast app you get a $10 sign-up reward you can also apply, which was a good deal. We got a classic cheese, Hawaiian and supreme pizza, and all tasted good. The pepperoni and jalapeno was delicious - thin, crispy crust with plenty of toppings. The Cory's Creation was good, but given the amount of cheese that is on it - quite greasy in the end. We're longtime Grimaldi's fans, but decided to give Crust Brothers a try one evening since they're right in our neighborhood. We ordered a salad, one large pizza, and one medium, and with tax, tip, and fees, the total came to just over $100. For that price, we could have enjoyed Grimaldi's, with dessert included. While everyone's tastes differ, I was disappointed with the double-cut, soggy crust. We also had to pay extra for sides of ranch, and the salad looked like someone grabbed a single handful and tossed it into a container. Maybe using a smaller container would have made it feel like an actual side salad? The pizza itself wasn't terrible, but it didn't live up to the cost. I'd consider eating here again, at about half the price. For those who love it, that's great, but if you're a fan of Grimaldi's or the crisp, wood-fired crust style, I'd recommend skipping this one for the price. read more

Beware- this establishment doesn't like children. First off, we've been here many times with many different groups of people including children ages 0 to 10. We have never had an issue regarding our children or any other children in our family with excessive noise at any restaurant. On this particular day it was just myself, my husband, and our three kids ages 6, 3, and 18 months. Throughout the meal we had small bursts of my 18 month old being 'noisy' but nothing that I or anyone else would consider disruptive. Normal 18 month old behavior. Halfway through our meal the owner proceeds to aggressively come to our table and tell us, not ask us, to take my 18 month old outside (in the 105 degree heat) to calm her down. We honestly thought this was a joke. He claims the entire restaurant (10 people btw) was giving him looks and he needed to address the situation. He rudely used sentences like 'do you understand that?' and 'you get that though, right?'. He was speaking to us with such attitude and disrespectfulness that was completely undeserved. Our children don't act wildly in restaurants. She was an 18 month old acting like an 18 month old. We no longer felt welcome at this 'family' pizza joint. We left before they could bring us our pizza. This interaction has us seriously questioning ever coming back. read more

We came here for some pizza after reading some amazing reviews about this place. The pictures of the pizzas looked too good so we had to come and see for ourselves. I want to start off by saying our waitress was very patient with us and friendly. We started off with 2 Shirley temples, I've never had one till now and it was good. Their ranch is one of the best ranches I've ever had, the flavor was amazing. I could probably eat a big bowl of pepperoni chips with that ranch. For pizza we were taking our time deciding what pizza we wanted. It was a hard choice but we had to choose something eventually, I went with the meat lovers pizza and my boyfriend got the margherita pizza. The meat lovers had all the meat you could imagine, bacon, ham, meatball, pepperoni, and sausage. The margherita pizza had marinara, cheese, basil, and tomatoes, it was a simple pizza but full of flavor. The crust on the pizza was very crispy, which I loved. The pizzas were packed with flavor, and the meat on the meat lovers had crispy pepperonis which made it so much better. Obviously I had to ask for some ranch on the side and pepper flakes. The pizza itself was already amazing but with ranch it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I definitely want to come back and try out Dori's favorite, it has a combination of banana peppers, mushrooms, red onions, and tomatoes. It sounds amazing and one of the pictures from a review caught my attention. The restaurant itself gives you the option to sit wherever. First off, the pizza was good. But just good isn't saying much for a place with a 4.6 rating - I expected more. The cracker thin crust and toppings legitimately reminded me of an elevated Totino's frozen pizza.... except this one cost me upwards of 28 dollars. Simply not worth the price, so I can only give 3 stars here. That said, the ranch was flavorful and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. This was our very first time to Crust Brothers and we didn't leave disappointed. We had the sweetest server, she was so nice and gave us all the information we asked for. We started with a meatball and it was delicious. I told my husband I would just order meatballs if I ever didn't want pizza, like that will happen. Then we decided on a 13 in all meat pizza. It also had meatballs on it!!! It was perfectly cooked, the crust was crisp and never got soggy! It is a true Midwest pizza!! Then I just HAD to try the buckeyes. I have had them in OH..IO and these are a true buckeye. No crispy cereal hiding in them. We left full and had leftovers. The restaurant was very clean. The table didn't wobble and agin the service was outstanding. We drove from Surprise so I asked if I could take the rest of my Diet Coke in a to go cup for the ride home. Food preparation is done in full view of customers, but I noticed some employees touching their faces and other parts of their bodies without properly sanitizing their hands or changing gloves afterward. The food itself was excellent, but observing these sanitation lapses affected my overall impression. I also noticed customers leaning on the food preparation area while speaking with staff behind the counter, which appeared to be permitted by management. I have never seen so much put on one pizza and it was evenly placed. Check out the photos. Overall, the pizza was good. I like that it is sliced into small pieces. It is not mozzarella cheese, but a Parmesan cheese blend. I think the pizza lacked flavor. I would've liked to have some oregano or garlic on it. Perhaps next time that is what I will ask for. The sauce and pepperoni were mild, and if you're someone who likes a bit more spice and flavor you can add some peppers or, my favorite, hot honey!
