Stopped by for the first time. Was out shopping and walking around and wanted something quick! Was craving pizza but didn't want to have to order a whole pie, so looked for a place that sold by the slice. Always seemed to be busy when walking by so figured should give it a try. I got a slice of cheese. Ny style slice. And it was good. The crust was firm and crispy and the sauce/cheese ratio was good. Their ranch was also good. The person I was with got Sicilian slice and said it was okay. We then got the garlic sticks to split. Website said knots but then it was sticks that came out. The dipping sauce was good but the bread was soaked in garlic and out of the order of 4 I only opted for one since it was soaked and a little to heavy on the garlic imo but to each their own. New York style done right. I had the slice with pepperoni and the crust was awesome and the crisp was perfectly even and had the taste to go with it. Right amount of sauce and Grande cheese makes this pie a good choice for your New York fix. They have lots of other styles I'll have to get back to. The crew was super friendly and attentive. This is by far the best pizza shop in arizona! Im usually in old town area on Thursday's/Fridays and I always stop here for a slice for an " Italian statlion and sweet heat" slice and a cold pop! Great spot for NYC style pizza! The crust was a little crunchier than true NYC pizza, but it was just as thin and still incredibly delicious. We loved the meat and pepperoni slices. The cheese Sicilian was also good but we definitely preferred the traditional slices. Aside from that though, the staff and atmosphere were awesome. We actually accidentally left a shopping bag in the store, and when we went back to look for it, the cashier had already put it aside, and she immediately recognized us and returned it to us before we could even ask. I saw 5 star reviews and decided to order a pizza. I asked for pepperoni and green pepper. $2.50 for extra toppings. The green pepper was miniscle slivers of green pepper. More like $.50 cents worth. But the biggest reason they get One Star . . . they obviously took a pepperoni pizza, already cooked, threw some green pepper on, and threw it in the oven. The bottom of the crust was dark brown and tasted burnt. Avoid this place! read more

My husband and I first tasted Dana's (owner) pizza at Lil' Capo at Westgate, us being Bronx born and raised fell in love with her pizza, some of the best since we moved here in the 80's. She recently opened up her own pizza place this past August in Old Town Scottsdale. Again, we went yesterday and I had a Sicilian slice while my husband had a pepperoni slice, absolutely delicious. Easily the best pizza in Old Town Scottsdale. Great crust, quality ingredients and an owner who clearly knows what they're doing. I tried a slice of the "Italian Stallion" and the Capicola and Provolone are the ticket. The Sicilian slice is great too, and I'm not usually a fan of Sicilian style pies because if it's not done right you're chewing for days. Not the case here. The crust is fantastic.
