The team is polite, responsive, and easy to work with. I do believe this company is great and perhaps missed the mark on this job or may be busy, etc... I had very poor water pressure coming out of my bathtub and Capelli plumbing came to diagnose the issue. I paid for one hour of labor, (which is fine), however, I was told I'd be getting an estimate for them to come complete the job/ look for other issues when they could send a plumber with "more experience" with showers, etc. The initial interaction was great and understandable. Almost 3 weeks after they initially came - I've called twice and politely asked for an estimate and it still hasn't been sent to me, no followup, etc. I finally ended up calling another plumbing company and the issue was fixed within 1.5 hours, during their first visit. Thank you to the Capelli team, however, I don't feel comfortable using them again as I am confident the initial triaging of the main issue should not have taken a full hour when it only took the other company 5 minutes to explain what he'd be doing and fix it. I would reconsider my review of Capelli Plumbing if they hadn't spent an entire hour at my place & charge for labor only to tell me they'd send an estimate that never came. After seeing how quick the other plumbing company fixed it, I sincerely feel Capelli Plumbing did not need to spend an entire hour at my place and could've left after 10 minutes if he didn't know how to fix it. Well... I managed to plug our kitchen sink drain again... With a "sinking feeling" (pun intended), I glanced to my refrigerator when the magnetic business card for Capelli Plumbing is affixed. Gave them a call and presto change o, the crew was there and the "fix was on" . Actually, it wasn't magic and it did take a while cuz of traffic and other business... but it got fixed and a reasonable time frame, the crew fix everything, tested the system and then allowed me to inspect. Looked good to me... and the water disappear from our sink.... Unlike the condition I had left it. Try them, I'm certain you will love their way of doing business. I assume they are okay, so I am not going to be overly critical (e.g., with a one-star review), but I told them I had guests coming soon and wanted to move ASAP. They said they were busy but the estimate would come in "a couple days." When I followed up the manager/owner apologized and said, "this week." But he never got back to me, even after I reminded him (again). This resulted in an unnecessary delay. I guess my smallish job was not enough to rise to the level of meriting his serious attention. I can't say anything but wonderful things about Capelli Plumbing! I was in town visiting my senior parents and their sewer backed up on a Sundy. After calling another big-named company to relieve the clog, the sewer backed up again two days later. After receiving a bid from them to do the work, we asked a neighbor for a recommendation and she said to call Capelli! So glad we did! Edward and Preston were the best! They cleared the clog so my parents and I could use the restroom and then came back the next day to replace the leaking sewer pipes under the house. They stayed until 9pm to make sure that we would have a sewer line so we could take showers and use the bathroom! These two men were kind, knowledgeable, respectful and informative! Capelli is great! They are timely, describe their diagnostics clearly, state the price, and the scheduling is rapid. They were able to assess the cause of a rather substantial leak. It was in our landscape watering system. They repaired it. Their pricing is in line with other firms. The team arrived on time, ready to work, checked in with us as the job progressed, cleaned up at the end of the day, and were friendly communicators throughout the process. In addition to the repair in the water line, they perfomed a few minor plumbing repair jobs that we had but that most companies didn't want to handle because they were so small. Our toilet flooded and left a message on Sunday. I thought of supporting a local small business and called Capelli. I followed up with another call on Monday morning. They dispatched Rick Chaves. Rick was nice. They charged $205 for toilet clog auger. This didn't work. So they removed the toilet and used a toilet clog cable as they had go 10 ft to clear blockage they charged an additional $585 for this service. He said that it need a couple of closet flange spacers as the closet flange was 3/4 inch below tile grade. He quoted $40 for this but ended up charging $50. $840 for the the 1 hr 15 mts he was at the job. Rick spoke well. He left saying everything works and that he had flushed 6-7 times. When the bathroom was used it started to drip from the ceiling below. When the office was notified, Rick called back promptly and said it would be $205 for diagnostics. I had no choice but to pay. He came back cut a hole on the ceiling and said everything was alright. There must have been some water from the previous issue and that when installed the spacers it must have got trapped and that came to the ceiling. No issues to report and everything works fine. In short there was time and $1045 to plunge. Seems excessive and their whole billing system is debatable. Ricks service was good the rating is for how they charge. The problem didnt end here. a few days after the clog was still there. This time Rick said he didnt know what people can stuff the toilet with there is no warrant. He charged me another $ 710 for snaking it and going with a camera to see what the issue is. The problem is still not solved. This has been nothing but a nightmare. We are about $1800 down and still havent fixed the issue and my ceiling is cut open. For a colg that should have been fixed on the first attempt. read more

In this day and age, due to this "f l u " thing... it difficult to get a tradesperson to come and do the small things. As an experienced elderly gentleman, I have come to realize my personal limitations. The wife and I had a garbage disposal jam up that required replacement. After calling many reputable company's, I got a personal recommendation from Kyle at Jebs Appliance. Contacted James and at the moment he was occupied completing another job. I contacted a few more individuals. Low and behold, several hours later, James called and followed up with whether or not I found someone to do my little job. (My definition, not his) After contact, he arrive bright and early with just the "right stuff" We are "all better" now. I agreed to the price and he asked me to call the office to schedule the service. I have called and left three messages and emailed twice. No response. Nothing. Response was great but advertisement was misleading. I called to have him come out for a "free estimate" to check the problem with my water heater and to let me know how much it would be to fix it. Apparently, he just re-lit the pilot light, told me it was fine and charged me $168 - 10% off for a senior discount. I get I should pay you for coming out but $168 for driving 5 blocks over to do something that took you 2 minutes with your advertisement of a FREE estimate? Technically, no "work" was actually performed as you had to figure out why it wasn't working by trying to light the pilot which should be considered an estimate! Yet, he still collected $150. Sad that local companies treat their community this way. Tried to support a local business and felt like I got ripped off instead! read more

I have a upstair bathroom shower clogging problem, I don't know whether it is only upstair or the cleanout is clogg. (maybe whole house is clog). I have been search yelp for a good plumber . Found Capelli and I call this morning(today is weekday). James answer the phone and call me right back, and send David to my house. David is very on time on the time-frame that they give me. David nail the problem immediately and fix the upstair shower for me very fast. And then I have a loose faucet (in kitchen), David help me to tighten it for free. Very very honest people. Also they told me to buy a screen (small round thing) to catch my hair. And then David left and he come back to my house and said he found a "screen" in his truck and he consult with his boss to give it to me for "free". Rick Chavez of Capelli Plumbing just left my house, and he was great! I needed a kitchen faucet replacement for an old 1930's home, and it had an attached multipure water filter unit. Rick was able to replace the faucet and get the multipure unit working. Now no drips, leaks, etc. I highly recommend Rick as he was friendly, professional, and so knowledgeable. Capelli plumbing took care of all the plumbing needs in my 63 year old home. James was very responsive and came out and looked at my broken tub drain and leaking bathroom sink and determined what was wrong with both, explained what needed to be done, gave me a reasonable estimate and set up an appointment. He showed up promptly and fixed the sink with an increased water flow to the sink after James I stalled the proper materials. James and David had to work together to replace the tub drain and pea trap so now my tub/showers drains! While James was under the house, he discovered several pipes were corroded and there was a small hole in one pipe. He also discovered mold in the crawlspace and I had been smelling mold/mildew for a while. James quoted me a reasonable price to tear out the damaged pipes and replace them and we set up an appointment. David and Ron came out to replace the pipes and once the old pipes were cut off I got to see how severely they were corroded and also see the holes in the pipes. David and Ron finished all the work, picked up after themselves and double checked to make sure everything worked. Im so thankful I called Capelli plumbing...Thank goodness for James - he fixed the sink & bathtub and then caught the pipe problems early - this could have been a nightmare. read more

During the home inspection before we closed on our new home, the home inspector mentioned that the laundry hookups were suspect and we should hire a licensed plumber to come take a look. We called several plumbers and James at Capelli Plumbing was the most responsive and most professional of all of the individuals I spoke with. He came out to take a look and quickly identified what work needed to be done. We also discussed gas versus electric dryers and he highly recommended gas. So we decided to also have him run a gas line to the laundry room in addition to fixing the washer hookups and washer drain. He came out early on a Saturday to do the work. It took him and his helper about 2 hours to make all the repairs and run the gas line. When it came time to hook up the dryer . . . he informed me that Lowe's had actually delivered an electric dryer . . . which was obviously not the gas dryer I ordered. Oops. I called Lowe's to sort out the issue and James offered to come back to hook up the gas dryer once Lowe's swapped the appliance. He stopped by the following Monday and hooked up the gas dryer in under 5 minutes. Super awesome service. We definitely plan to call Capelli Plumbing again when we need any additional plumbing work done. read more

I had the misfortune of having Dave from Capelli Plumbing come to my house for a water leak from the main pipe in the front of my house. When he saw the leak coming from the small nut he told me I had BIG BIG problems. I was going to have to tear out my landscaping and my lawn to get to the water meter. He asked for a clipper to cut my plant in front of the pipe. Totally unnecessary the nut that was leaking was visible he then went to his truck and got a SMALL wrench he then made a 1 1/2 to 2 turn on the SMALL nut and the leak stopped. He then told me I was a very LUCKY LUCKY LADY. For this Dave charged me $165.00. "NICE GUY" NO STARS FOR HIM! I live the next block over from the business and that was with a senior discount. Well, decided to give this guy another chance....first, they promised a time to come over like 10-11 am which was fine but then later called and left a message that they would be there at 7am....not good since this was for my 91 year old mother and I could not be there at 7am and mom cannot hear, and no way to call them! Second, although they did clear the laundry line which was what they were to do, they left a mess in the back shower that appeared to be backflow (dried lint and dirt) likely from the laundry clean out and it dried so took some elbow grease to clean up. So overall....not the worst experience but not the greatest experience either. read more
