Finally got a chance to try Texas Roadhouse. We have tried twice before but don't do 45 minute waits. The second time the hostess told us about their online waitlist. Saturday night we decided to give it a try. Logged in and there was a 20-30 minute wait. It's about 15 minutes away so we put our names in and headed out. At the hostess desk the couple in front of us was told the wait was 45-50 minutes. At my turn I told her we were on the wait list. She checked, and we were seated within 5 minutes!. (They have " hand cut" steaks. Before taking us to our table I was able to select my steak from their case. ) This place is loud. It's a roadhouse, so I suppose the noise goes with that atmosphere. Loud music, and loud people, plus the wait staff sing and do line dancing occasionally, which is just weird. The food was good. They brought out rolls that were great. We had an order of Rattlesnake bites for appetizers. (Jalapeño, no rattlesnakes were involved.) My steak was a little over the rare I ordered, but edible. I ordered chili as a side which was delicious. My second side was a baked sweet potato, which came with brown sugar and cinnamon. (That wasn't listed on the menu and I don't do cinnamon so had to ask for a replacement. - My bad.) My wife had the "Roadkill" chopped steak. She said it was tasty, but a little greasy. Me and my boyfriend drove to atlanta for a late night trip, we went here for a last minute dinner and i believe our server was kira or kia not too sure, she had dark brown hair that was in a braid pony tail. She was not attentive towards us at all. We finished our whole meal without her even checking on us. Didn't even refill my water. i had to drink from my boyfriend's water. Then we were just sitting waiting for her to come bring a box while we already finished our food. I get it, i'm a server myself, i'm sure she was doing her closing tasks but she didn't even come back at all to do the 2 bites in check to make sure everything was okay. Still 1 of the best chain restaurants! Always loved this place for the rolls as a kid. Can't beat a meal under $15 with 2 sides now days. I had the roadkill that was cooked perfectly medium, topped with onions and mushrooms. House salad was fresh, sweet potato with the honey butter always hits, and the rolls were as fluffy as I remember. There's a reason the wait gets long in the evening. I dont know why,But Ive always liked TR for their value. I mean eating steak can be exspensive. However as i took my seat Kevin soon arrived. He took my drink order and i informed him I needed a little more time with the menu. By the time he returned I settled on the 11oz sirloin,loaded mashed potatoes and ceasar salad. What i appreciated was the timing of the food. I liked that the salad came out,and i was able to enjoy the salad before bringing out my steak. My pet peeve is when steak places bring your steak before you even finish your salad. Then your steak sets getting cold. Ok some might think that $26 is exspensive for a meal. What a vibe haha - Texas Roadhouse is one of those places where you and your friends go to when you're feelin a night of hanging out over top tier bread and a chaotic environment. Came here at 8pm on a Saturday and there was about a 25 minute wait (pro tip: call ahead to be put on the waitlist!) Some of my friends had never been to a Texas Roadhouse and I was excited for them to receive an experience! Hot, buttery bread rolls, employees line dancing and yelling yeehaws for someone's birthday, eating our peanuts and leaving the shells behind, and yelling across the table just to hear each other over all the noise - this is the classic Texas Roadhouse experience that I've missed for so long. The service was ok, as we didn't receive utensils until our food came out, even though we had an app and thought we had asked for some prior to that as well. It was a busy night though. I came here to catch up with a friend of mine. This was my first time coming to this location and it was also my first time coming here in a very long time. My friend and I got sat instantly even though it was pretty busy in there. Our server did a great job on our table. He checked on us constantly. There rolls are iconic. They were really the highlight of my meal. I ordered a full rack of ribs with green beans and a sweet potato. She got salmon with corn and a sweet potato. My bill came out to about $25. I visited Texas Roadhouse and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We waited from 7:00 PM until after 9:15 PM while watching other parties get seated ahead of us. The host staff, including McKenzie, were rude and repeatedly referred to my parents as "ladies" in an uncomfortable way. We were eventually told they weren't sure they could even serve us and were handed a free appetizer instead. The manager, Devonte, refused to speak with us in person and later hung up during a phone call when we tried to address the issue. Wife ordered the sirloin topped with onions/mushrooms cooked medium rare with a Caesar salad and chili, mother-in-law got a sirloin as well with green beans and a loaded baked potato, I ordered the burger that comes with barbecue sauce. We also tried to order rattlesnake bites -they were out and probably the best thing on the menu, but instead settled for the blooming onion thing. The blooming onion was solid. All the steaks were ordered medium-rare and all came out well done. My burger was terrible - came out cold and waaaaay greasier than any I've ordered in a long time. We've had mixed service coming here the last couple of times, but the last time our waitress was outstanding and I wish I could remember her name to give her the credit on here. Whoever she was - she kept our drinks filled and was super polite and took the time to answer all of our questions and offered a couple options to help with our 1 year old. I got there a few minutes before her, I told the greeter for 2 people and my wife would be here in a minute and they refused to seat me without my wife being with me. Had a great experience at Texas Roadhouse. I enjoyed the food and our server Caroline was very accommodating as we had our little one with us. We came here on Sunday afternoon and there was a birthday party and families all around us. Ordered the steak sirloin because why not? It's a roadhouse. The steak was cooked to order and medium rare. Note you can choose your steak at the front counter as you are seated by the host. The meal was great and service was prompt. Really enjoyed this spot as a first time visit. R and I came here for lunch today, on Veteran's Day. I'm a proud Air Force veteran, and I came here to enjoy Texas Roadhouse's offer of a free meal to all military veterans. We arrived at the parking lot at around 11:30 am. There was an employee greeting everyone driving up in their cars, offering a paper voucher to every veteran in each car, so I got one, then we parked in the large parking lot. Checking in at the host counter, we were told that the wait would be between 10 and 20 minutes. Looking around, there were so many people sitting in the waiting area, that I just knew the hostess was wrong with her wait time estimation. Nope, the customers in the large waiting area were getting seated at their tables quickly, including the two of us. This is the first time in years that I've visited a Texas Roadhouse, the last time being in Cleveland, OH, where I left over 8 years ago. I miss that Texas Roadhouses don't offer salted roasted peanuts anymore, but not having them sure prevents the spread of germs and diseases, plus the floors are a lot cleaner. We were seated at a booth near the bar, and the beautiful and friendly server came by and wished me a Happy Veteran's Day. While she left, I looked at the voucher that had a list of the free meals offered to veterans, and spied the chicken fried sirloin on it. My decision was made, because who doesn't want some fried steak smothered with white gravy! That's exactly what I ordered, along with mashed potatoes (also smothered with white gravy), and a side Caesar salad (no white gravy, please!). R ordered a 6 oz sirloin, medium rare, and a Caesar salad. Our salads came first - Perfectly made and the croutons were perfectly soft and crunchy at the same time. Nice portion size too. Our entrees arrived, nice and hot. I had a slice of the R's sirloin steak. Oh, it was so delicious! My chicken fried sirloin was pounded a little too thin. It had a nice crispy crunchy outside that didn't get soggy, even with all of the gravy on it. NICE! We had a very pleasant dining experience - enjoyable food, a very attentive server, and, for those of you who love sports, multiple large TV monitors tuned to Saturday college football games. Went on Sunday, March 1, about 4:30 pm, 5.5 hours before closing. Used online wait list, so very short wait. Got a plate of rolls when seated, but no silverware to spread butter. Didn't get silverware until at least 10 minutes later, on waitress' second visit to table. Rolls were cold by then, but it didn't matter. They tasted like cheap, supermarket rolls. I wanted to start with chili, which I've heard is good. Was told they are out of chili, 5.5 hours before closing. That was one of the main reasons we went. My wife and I both ordered Filet Medallions. Menu says they are served on a bed of rice with 1 of 2 sauces and 2 sides. My wife asked for no rice or sauce, and it was delivered that way. Mine was delivered with the rice and sauce on the side, not on the same plate. My wife was told she could have an extra side in place of the rice. She asked for green beans, which never showed up. Just the 2 included sides. The only napkins we had were a few tiny, little cocktail napkins. We hadn't seen our waitress in a while, so we asked another employee if they had any larger napkins. He said they were out of those, too. (Reminder, still 5 hours before closing.) He did go grab a few brown paper towels from the restroom. I've heard Texas Roadhouse steaks are supposed to be very good, but our steaks were not even close to Longhorn or Outback quality. Or even backyard BBQ quality. This counts as 2 visits for us. We have been going to Texas Roadhouse for the past 20 years. This is by far the worst experience we've ever had. From the moment we sat down, nothing went right. We waited for 15 minutes and no one came to take our drink order. We had to ask a supervisor. Then, less than 5 minutes after our side dishes came, our main dish came out. They ran out of prime rib at 7:00 pm on a Friday night. We asked for salt and never got it. After nicely telling our experience to a manager, they did nothing. We won't be going back anytime soon. Sachia was our waitress and she took great care of us. I think this was my first time at a Texas Roadhouse and I enjoyed the environment and the attention and attitude of the servers. The fried pickles were just right. I also had ribs with a Caesar Salad and a sweet potato. All of that tasted very good, The ribs were tender and the sauce was very nice. I make my own so I am hard to impress. The the salad and sweet potato were both severed to perfection. I visited Texas Roadhouse today (May 1st) around 6:30 p.m. and placed a to-go order. I picked it up around 7:05 p.m. after waiting due to a busy evening. When my order was brought to the window, the team quickly showed me the bag, and I checked to confirm I had two chicken tender meals and one steak meal, which appeared correct at a glance. However, when I returned home around 7:22p.m. and opened my meal, I discovered that the steak I ordered--an 8 oz New York Strip--was not the correct cut. I immediately called and spoke with Brianna, who responded by asking things like, "Didn't you check your bag before you left? That's why we tell people to check." While I did check to ensure all meals were present, I did not open the box to verify the exact cut of steak, or the exact amount of chicken tenders and I don't believe that should fall solely on the customer when the order should be correct at pickup. At first, I said I'd come back the next day to resolve it, but after the conversation, I decided to return the same evening. When I arrived, I was again met with blame about not checking my order more thoroughly, rather than any acknowledgment of the mistake. While waiting for the remake, a manager came to the window with what I perceived as an aggressive demeanor, scanning the area, and I let her know I was the person she was looking for. After going back and forth, I expressed that her body language seemed dismissive and aggressive, and I no longer felt comfortable with the situation. I asked for a refund instead of the remake. It's disappointing that rather than simply fixing the error with an apology, I was made to feel at fault and uncomfortable, despite being a paying customer who just wanted the meal I ordered. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect accuracy and respectful customer service when dining at Texas Roadhouse. Ten thumbs down for this location. read more

this will not make our regular rotation of restaurants If you just want good bread, you'll get that 1) For some reason they were shuffling all the 80 year olds with canes all the way to the back 40 to be seated and about 15 tables open closer to the front. 2) The awards-winning fall of the bone ribs were only falling off the bone because they were too dry to stick to the bone anymore. 3) the filet was good and well-prepared (hence the 2 stars) 4) fries were WAY overcooked and it's really hard to mess up fries. 5) mentioned to our server that another table was struggling because they'd spilled a drink and she said "that's not my table" and didn't grab a bar towel or even acknowledge how she could help 6) got sat right away, but we were the for waaaay too long just waiting for items to get to table and get our bill paid read more
