We got a few different estimates and wanted to visit different places, to not only to see who can get the job done, but also who we felt comfortable doing the job.. in addition to that, the turn around time was a factor along with the price as well. After visiting a few places we finally came to see Steve at Island Collision Center. He told us exactly what they would do and gave us a good time frame as to when the repair would be completed. Since the car was a Tesla, it was good to see they were currently finishing up a repair on another Tesla at the time. When we had left the shop to our final estimates... during the entire time we just felt like "why are we wasting our time", with the other places. However, we did want to do our due diligence - which we did. After getting all the estimates and sleeping on it the next day the only person we contacted was Steve and asked a few follow up questions. Not only did his answers satisfy our questions, the rapid response time and communication helped seal the deal for us. When Steve told us to pick up the car we were happy that we made the right decision. We dropped our car off on a Tuesday and our car was ready by Friday. He explained every single step of the process and the price was just right in the middle from others, what set him apart is the way he contacted me about it, he was very transparent and explained what they needed to do and why, and the turn around to have my vehicle ready, I couldn't believe it. Other shops needed to keep my car for a week, but with them it only took them 3 days, I guess it all depends on how severe the issue and the work you need is, but comparing other places this was the one I categorized as the best of them all. I took my chances and took my vehicle there the next morning, Wednesday around noon The moment I walked in, they all made me feel comfortable, and made me feel like if I knew them already, a very warm greeting. Steve goes out and took a look of my car and inspected the dents and again explained to me the job it needed and why, he confirmed the pricing he provided me originally and tells me my car would be ready the latest by Saturday around noon. I went with it, surprise, surprise, I received a call from him Friday Morning telling me my car would be ready by the end of the day. I couldn't not believe it but it was true. I got there around 5pm on a Friday and my car was ready, and the job was just impeccable. I am attaching some pictures for your to see their job. All I have to say is, that sometimes we just ask around hoping to find a friend or acquaintance for a referral to take our cars and get a good deal, but also most importantly a good job to a shop we can trust, and sometimes you don't have any. I am here to be that referral to tell you that your car is in good hands, very professional, and passionate of what they do and it shows with his communication and detailed explanation of the process so you can be at ease. I am also, taking another old vehicle I have for something cosmetic touches. I do highly recommend these guys, they seriously know what they do and they are passionate about it and their customer service is a white glove experience. I was not able to go that week, however the following week I was nearby so figured I would just stop by and see if he could service my vehicle, but let him know I needed my car back by a certain time. He called about an hour before I needed it saying they were wrapping up and shared the final price which ended up being a few dollars less than the original estimate. Car felt great and we will be returning for any future maintenance needs. Great service, fair pricing and great, clear communication.

I…read morestopped by one afternoon to get an estimate on re-painting one door of my car that had been previously worked on by a mobile dent removal/paint guy, and the roof because the clear coat was wearing out due to sun damage. It wasn't looking good and I plan to keep the car for another five years or so, so I figured I should look into this. Marcos took a look at the areas that needed work, then brought me into his office. He typed up some information in the computer and got me a quote within 10 or 15 minutes, no problem. The cost was about what I expected and I didn't even bother getting a second opinion. Based on the number of great reviews on Moises, I figured I had found the right place. I scheduled a time to drop the car off on a Monday morning hoping I would only have to rent a car until Friday. They literally got to work right away, sending me photos of the car being worked on by noon. It turned out that the mobile dent guy had done some pretty shoddy work underneath his paint job, and that I would need a new door skin as well if I wanted the car to really look its best. Marcos was honest and said I didn't have to go this route, and could keep it the way it was, but it wouldn't look as good. It would be ok, and better than it currently looked, but if I wanted it pristine, I should consider the new door skin. I figured I'm going this far, so we might as well do it right. The car was ready by Friday afternoon as promised, even though they had to order a new door skin which was not in the plan. When I picked the car up Friday, it looked perfect. In fact, the whole car looked fantastic. The paint was blended perfectly. I feel so much better about this car now. One added bonus to all of this is that Marcos noticed my magnet on the back of the car that says "I [heart] my dachshund," and Marcos mentioned he also has two dachshunds. I always know I can trust a dachshund lover. The only problem is that Marcos is an LAFC fan, and as I am a huge LA Galaxy fan, it was difficult to accept this!
