Mocha latte is my drink of choice but if the seasonal cherry one is there, it's even better.

Capital one cafes are such a unique concept and I'm so happy we got one in St. Louis. Your happiness life hack of the day is too hit the cafe first thing on your trip to the mall, get yourself a drink for half price if you pay with your capital one credit card then take it with you to enjoy as you shop. The idea is a really nice coffee shop mixed with banking amenities. They have staff there that greet you and can help with any of your banking or investment questions, set you up with an account, and show you anything that Capital one offers but my favorite part is that they aren't pushy. They're there if you want them but don't approach or pester you. The seating is crazy comfortable, they have private meeting rooms available for the public, and there are games like Connect four if you're bored. Don't be one of those sad dudes sitting on a bench holding your wife's shopping bags, be a happy dude and babysit those bags while hanging in the cafe.

So on a recent Sunday morning around 1030 am. I wondered into the capital one cafe and discovered one of the best Moca coffee drinks i have had, far out shines Starbucks. If you have not been to this little unassuming cafe tucked away into west county mall, then ask yourself why you haven't been to it. The staff is friendly and the drinks i have tried so far have been delicious. Prices range around the average fir a coffee house/ cafe. Now here's the caveat if you have a capital one card drinks are half price. The drink menu is not as extensive as most coffee houses but still covers the basics. The vibe nice and laid back.

This is only the second Capital One Cafe I have been to (first in Chicago). I got their famous honey latte and also booked a study room and got some work done. The location is kind of random since it is inside the mall, but it is still clean and modern. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. I wish I lived closer because I would come here more often. Definitely recommend stopping by.

New coffee shop in the mall! So unassuming but a great vibe, clean ambiance and decor, and great coffee! Capital One and Discover card holders get 50% off all drinks every day, and they're currently running a summer promo for $3.60 drinks on Fridays for non card holders. Not only is this a great deal, but they make great coffees sponsored by Verve. There's also free wifi. This is a great place to get away from the mall's sensory overload and enjoy a snack or meal or drink. Everyone working there was also super nice!

This location is new as of Wednesday and I would have to say the service I received this morning from their team was phenomenal!! They have me a tour of the branch which includes a coffee shop, and small meeting rooms. I was thoroughly impressed with the ambiance as well as the service. If you are looking for a new bank speak to Kay and the West County location!

This is a cute little cafe for anyone, but helpful for all Capital One customers. First drink are 50% off if you have a Capital one card of any kind and they were delicious. I got a chai tea with a shot of espresso (dirty chai) and my wife got Vanilla Rose Latte. For a small lunch, I did a ham and cheese and she sampled one of the pastries. I am not a coffee guy but there are very kind people to help with your decisions and with any account you may have or want. I was already set up with Capital one but we opened a savings account for my wife, and I deposited into the ATM. You can also book a "Nook" workspace for private work time or meet with an ambassador for the money and life program to give you personal finance tips. It's incredibly cozy and a small lunch/brunch here was cheap in my opinion with my Capital One Savor card. If she's in, speak with Shay, very kind and helpful! We had a good time.

When you enter, it's very small but very well put together décor wise. Each area had signs that discouraged movement of their furniture and had its own kind of theme. I was meeting up with a friend and her daughter and unfortunately did not realize they had the typical café hours (closed at 2pm) so my visit was very quick (30 minutes) and I had to rush my conversation. I ordered an iced Monstera Mint latte and chocolate coffee cake slice. When the barista called up my order, I repeated my order asking if it's mine (they don't use a name system) and apparently *I* mispronounced MONSTERA because she turned her back and said within earshot to her coworker how I did not pronounce it correctly and why do people say it incorrectly. I am not a big plant person so excuse me for not knowing how every single plant name is pronounced. I know people vent at work, but it made me feel uncomfortable the rest of my visit, so I was glad it was almost time to leave before they closed. Vent after customers leave if you have to.... Anyways, my MONSTER-AH mint latte was good, but the chocolate coffee cake was a bit too dry for me. And service could have been a bit more professional in my opinion.

Thankfully, they had all hands on deck so there was minimal time spent waiting. The woman who took my order was kind and patient as I struggled to select which kind of bread I wanted from their plethora of options. Although I came in undecided between a sandwich and one of their pastries, I opted for the former and a chocolate chip cookie. After waiting all of five minutes, my name was called and I was on my way. While the presentation of the sandwich wasn't the most appealing it def made up for it in taste. The egg was whole but cooked to perfection. Although I asked for cheddar, I was given white cheddar instead, which I was surprised because this was not told to me when I ordered. The sandwich was good, but I'll need to choose a different bread next time since it was quite mushy. The cookie was good and something I'd compare to tollhouse. It was incredibly soft but again, I was thrown off by the semisweet, almost dark chocolate chips. Nevertheless, it was still good and I'd get it again. Overall, this place reminds me of a Des Peres version of La Bonne Bouche. It's got ample seating, tons of pastries, and other cafe items. I'll def return.

It's fun, quirky, and filled with delicious goodies -- a great place to get coffee and tea, with the added bonus of sweet treats! I love the rotation of seasonal drinks, and the baked goods are a small but mighty selection of scones, muffins, cookies, brioche cinnamon rolls (my favorite!), and other yummy baked deliciousness! Staff are friendly and helpful in offering options -- for example, I needed some dairy free milk choices. The barista also offered great recommendations with the seasonal drinks. Pricing is really reasonable... which allows you to indulge in some additional baked goods or one of their fun merchandise items like homemade dog treats, t-shirts, mugs, etc. I also like that they have a small shelf of books, records, and games if you want a little BFF time - with your bestie or for just yourself! I enjoy stopping in for refreshments and a little break from shopping on Lindbergh, or getting something to go to enjoy at home. The vibe is relaxed, and easy-going, and marching to the beat of its own drum. You gotta love places like this! There is plenty of parking, and the lot is easy to get in and out of. Just watch your step at the doorway entry/exit. It's got a slight incline - so watch your step. Seating is limited, but it seems to work, because there is a steady "to go" crowd that doesn't take up the tables. I love this cool spot in South County! It's local, and I love that over bigger, more expensive alternatives. I've been thinking a lot about those cinnamon rolls. So, I need another visit!

Today, I literally had to leave because when I walked in, there was no one behind the counter, I stood there for a few minutes until someone finally came out out of the back section, and then I assume, went behind the counter to tell the worker that I was waiting. When the worker came out, she had a bunch of cookies in her hands that she then had to proceed to fold and put into a bag and then she started making the coffee of two people that were sitting at the counter while I was still just standing there. She did acknowledge me, which I appreciate, but at that point, I have been standing there for at least five minutes and I still hadn't ordered my coffee. I told her that I had to leave because I had to get to work and went to Starbucks instead, which I really didn't want to do. But this has been a pattern with this place- either they're not hiring enough staff, the staff that they have is overwhelmed or something is going on. I've been coming here for almost a year- and I definitely would prefer to patronize a local Shop, but not if it's gonna take five minutes to even just get my order taken when I am literally the only person in line. Also, I wanna add, I literally used to come here three times a week. This is not a new experience, but this one has really taken it over the top. Like I said, I want to support a local coffee shop, and I want to like this place, but particularly in the morning when people are on their way to work, this type of delay is totally unacceptable. I'm not blaming the worker, I'm blaming whoever's doing the scheduling.
