Okay honestly I would have never came in this cafe if it weren't for my son who got a coupon code for a free drink. I tried the blueberry matcha with oat milk and it was surprisingly really good. Although, if no coupon code it would be close to $10. Not sure if I would come back unless I wanted to hang out and read as they have really nice lounging areas. Service was good.

I've been coming to the Capital One Café for a while now, and it's a great place to grab a drink or a bite while getting some work done. On my latest visit, I ordered the Island Spritz, which was refreshing, along with the avocado toast, which is always a solid choice. My only suggestion would be to offer a gluten free bread option. I think it would be a great addition for people with dietary restrictions. The only downside is that it's gotten much busier lately. Finding a table can be a challenge if you're planning to work from the café, especially on Mondays when they have their special promotion. The morning line gets pretty long, so if you're looking for a quieter experience, I'd recommend visiting earlier or choosing a different day. Overall, it's still one of my favorite spots at the Spectrum, with a welcoming atmosphere, good food, and refreshing drinks.

Once upon a time, this over-heated Faerie Queen needed an iced coffee. What a quirky place. Banking and coffee? It works. I checked it out. The place was packed! Interesting. The end.

We always stop by the Irvine Spectrum Capital One Cafe for a cold tea at 1/2 off pricing. Its very roomy inside, lots of mix and match of furniture. The outside seating is usually open so its nice they have that option. Great drink choices too, always something new to try and for 1/2 off that's such a great deal. There is limited restrooms so that's a downside, but there are the public restrooms within the Spectrum so not a big deal. We haven't tried any of the food but there are several snacks to choose from. The staff are friendly.

Came in the morning and there's decent seating around the cafe. Best time to come to Irvine Spectrum for parking is in the morning too so that's a plus. There was a line, but I think it's because of a Monday promotion they currently have with their cafes. I got a blueberry Ube matcha latte, which is part of their seasonal menu! The foam was so good and truly was a blend of blueberry and Ube. The matcha itself is a bit milky, so the foam helped add sweetness to an otherwise milky matcha latte, which isn't a big problem to me. Overall it was pretty good and I would get it again!

Great coffee & matcha. Not too busy for a Saturday around 2:45pm. Only a few ppl in line before us. 50% off for capital one credit card users. I ordered for my friends. Ambiance is clean and aesthetic. Feels like an elevated bank/cafe experience. Good place to work/study. Only spotted a few corporate baddies. They probably came in the morning. The Blueberry Ube Iced Latte was delicious. It was smooth and not too sweet. Staff were very friendly and made sure our orders were correct. Blueberry Ube Latte Iced: 4/5

Came for their summer Monday deal (free handcrafted drink). I tried their seasonal blueberry ube foam with a matcha latte. The foam was great, the matcha was on the milky side for sure. It's a bright cafe with quick service. Not a ton of seating but there are chairs and tables.

I always wondered what was offered inside the capital one cafe. Anyone can come in and use their services. But, the perk for capital one clients is 50% off handcrafted beverages. How fun! I can still walk around Spectrum, drink in hand, but at a discount. It's also great for charging up your devices and as a work station. Lots of tables and free WiFi. Some comfy seating options as well. I'll def be back in the future.

If you haven't yet I highly recommend trying the island spritz drink! It was delicious. It is one of their summer drinks and is a sparkling beverage made with pineapple and coconut cold foam (made from coconut cream) and finished with a hint of Tajín. YUM. Their summer mocha drink is really good as well. FYI get there no later than 8pm on Mondays if you intend to get the free drink for MLB Monday's - they stop allowing people to get in line for it around 8:20pm (or earlier) despite having a closing time of 9pm.

Convenient location and been wanting to stop in here. As I was at the Irvine Spectrum recently, I came on in to grab a chilled Matcha drink. It was made well and was good tasting. Staff are efficient here, though didn't come off with high energy here, they were just sufficient as baristas. Good drinks are promised. Though this cafe is waaay packed with UCI students, corporate baddies, and other visitors, depending when you come in, you'll have a little trouble finding any tables here because they are taken up pretty quickly. So, because there's only like a 25% chance getting a table or a chair here, this spot only gets 4 stars. If they could limit table times during busy hours, maybe it can a higher rating.

    Off Shore Customer Support YEA!

Ok card company! This location is convenient! Downs are the App and website. So monitor all charges made use less often! One big thing if you have a $10,000.00 Credit limit then a 200.00 balance So you pay the 200.00 then they change Your available credit to 10,000.00. But you go back and log in it will go back To available 9,800.00 again. Then if You have 2 cards and make the payments On the same day one will stay at the 10,000.00 The other will be 9,800.00 why??? All they have to do to fix this little problem is On all cards is to instead say the available balance Will adjust as soon as payment goes thought. Very easy! The off shore customer support is unaware Of this problem and need to be informed! This makes it look like a unknown charge is Coming in or you are being double billed. So simple.

Verve Coffee in Capital One Cafe *March 15th, 2026 *1pm- Sunday *2 Stars Environment: *Large Parking Lot *Indoor and Outdoor Seating *Inside Capital One Bank *Large Study Space Food/Drink: *Matcha Latte (Almond Milk, No Sweetner) I was really excited to try the matcha here since I've been to other Verve Coffee locations before and enjoyed their drinks. Unfortunately, this one was pretty disappointing. They had a Cherry Matcha Latte as a seasonal specialty for spring/summer, but I decided to go with a regular matcha latte with almond milk and no sweetener. The drink came out tasting more like plain almond milk with just a slight hint of matcha. On the plus side, the service was quick and the space is large, making it a good spot for studying. Still, I was so disappointed with my drink that I ended up going somewhere else in the Spectrum to get my matcha fix.

Yes, but they will just tell you to go to the app and sign up yourself. They don't really do anything like a normal bank would. You could literally just go to their website…

I ordered the Boba Treasure, but made the mistake thinking it was the boba milk tea, common in other shops not realizing it was just milk no tea. Nonetheless, the milk drink was good, boba good consistency, shop clean with okay seating. Definitely, could use tables with chairs that face one another, hard to have a nice conversation when the chairs are all facing the counter or facing a wall, but that's also fine. Some other tea shops that are unjustifiably popular, such as Omomo in Tustin, have way more uncomfortable seating and this shop is vastly better than Omomo is every aspect. It's definitely impacted by the location as a lower traffic retail strip, but this made for plenty of parking, quiet place and quality service and drinks. Would be happy to return for another visit to try the teas.
