Pb&J, Absolute madness! Perfect way to cap off a great day or fix a bad one.

I ordered it pick up and It delivered............PB&J was swamped with deliciousness but the crust remained crispy. My new fav go-to!

BURNT pizza in the box when I got home with it.

2026, June 07. Other than the pizza was burnt, what wasn't burnt was good. (See attached photo) I could not believe that the kitchen staff allowed this burnt pizza out of the kitchen. Is this is the standard of quality that they feel is acceptable? Then to charge $20 for a one ingredient small pizza just adss insult to injury. I have been going to Capitol pizza since it open and I have noticed their quality of food preparation over the last 3 or four months has been in decline. I think I will go only to Atomic Pizza for the next 2-3 months and give them time to replace the kitchen staff. Good Luck. Check your pizza before you leave with it.

Atmosphere was dope because of the dog

Discount not applied: Went to capital because they had a $5 off of a $25 purchase discount through campus cash. After redeeming the discount, eating, and receiving the bill, my boyfriend and I thought the price of the check seemed a bit steep. 4 sides of ranch ($.50 each), and one capital carnivore pizza ($27.99) should total $26.99 with the coupon. The tab we received was $31.99. Our server Sarah, who had beautiful eyes might I add, forgot to discount the price, even though she confirmed she discounted the pizza. Food was mid, service was great, Sarah is very pretty, very upset with the principal. $5 is a relatively small amount of money, but the PRINCIPAL is most important to us.

Yummy pizza. Kinda took awhile to get food, but once we got it I was super impressed. Love the doughy pizza crust and they have good prices.

Best pizza in Lubbock for me! You can tell it's freshly made and they are not too stingy with the toppings.

Great Pizza and beer selection but it's not on tap. This is a good little local spot to grab a bite. Give it a try.

I believe we had something with honey and sriracha. Wings & a pizza. The place was packed from front to back. This was grad weekend but I have a feeling this is the norm. I went in by myself on a Thursday evening, as I was in Lubbock (and at TTU) for work meetings, and sat at the bar for a beer and dinner. Three employees -- servers and bartenders -- were working the place, as it was summer and school wasn't yet in session, so while most tables were filled, the bar had empty seats and a couple of tables were still empty. TEN MINUTES I sat at the bar before I was even acknowledged, and that was because the two guys next to me, who'd been there at least that long themselves, finally asked for menus, and so I said, "I'd like one, too." The guy got me a menu and I decided on what to order. Set the menu down, and another 5+ minutes went by while the servers dealt with other tables and even other customers at the bar. Now, we are 15+ minutes in, and finally the guy who got me the menu asked if I wanted something to drink. I ordered a beer, where he could have TURNED AROUND to enter it in the register and pour it from the tap, but he went to another table and I didn't see him again for another 5 or so minutes. At that point, I'd had enough, and I left. I would have enjoyed trying the pizza and enjoying a beer there. The place had a cool vibe and the food looked and smelled good, from what I could see from neighbors. But the dismissive attitude of the staff who must actually have looked THROUGH me (I was at the very center of the bar and I'm pretty sure I'm not transparent) and having been ignored for about 20 minutes was enough. Went down the road to Flippers Tavern and had a wonderful experience there! Sorry, but if you can't even acknowledge your customers when you're busy but not slammed, you don't deserve my business. Maybe it's because I'm an Old Dude and not a young hipster or college student, but it was disappointing and frustrating. Bottom line: skip this place, especially if you're over 35 or so.

What...was that?…read more Perhaps that's the issue. I remember what One Guy's used to be. It was formerly a place that I'd recommend to anyone visiting from out of town as a local favorite. It was a place I went when I cared less about convenience and using a coupon for some chain pizza and instead wanted something absolutely delicious. Sadly, it's not that anymore. The salad out front was decent enough, albeit pretty basic and definitely nothing special. The calzone was watery. Yes, watery. I don't even know how or why, but there was an excessive amount of watery liquid coming out of it. The pepperoni pizza was decent enough, but definitely no better than you're going to get from a chain, or (I can't believe I'm saying this) frozen. The sauce was particularly off-putting and gave me a different kind of nostalgia than I thought I would get eating here. It reminded me of eating Chef Boyardee vlin microwavable bowls as a kid. I was told that after taking the leftovers home and trying them the next day, they were even worse reheated. I didn't have that misfortune myself as I was done with it after the meal. The service was adequately good, but there was no crowd like I would have expected, and it's easy to see why. I'm fully aware of the reasons things may have gone a different direction (specifically downhill) at One Guy's and that there are now more options in town. I just hoped that this location still had some of that pizazz that made it special. Sadly, I was disappointed.
