Upon contacting my tenant, I learned that the plumber had visited, did minimal work, stayed for less than an hour, and left. I immediately checked my credit card and found an unauthorized charge of $495. The next morning, I called your number but received no answer. When I reached the plumber directly, he admitted he was going to call me but chose not to because it was "too late." He claimed the $495 was a "inspection fee" and that an additional $450 would be needed to complete the repair. We had a brief dispute, and I informed him I would pursue this matter through formal channels. I have since disputed the unauthorized charge with my credit card company and am awaiting resolution. Meanwhile, your continued efforts to contact the property owner through third parties to seek payment are inappropriate and unacceptable. They were going to replace my UV light air purification system core for ~$200. Then the tech called me 30 minutes after my appointment window ended saying it was going to have to be ~$400. It took 2 weeks of back and forth and manager calls to get them to honor their original price. 4. They finally came out to do the work that they said they would. They showed up at a random time that we hadn't scheduled, so I wasn't home. My wife let him in and he claims he replaced the core, but when I got home the system still wasn't working. Mind you, I only did this replacement because the tech told me that it was what I needed to do to get my system to work. So when I called to see why it wasn't working, they said they'd have to charge me to come out if it was an issue that existed before his work, even though I only had the work done because he said it would fix it. Now I'm once again waiting on a call back. I initially only wanted one seasonal maintenance visit and was talked into a yearly membership for just $50, which makes sense on the surface. We had a water pressure problem after he left, and Jimmy Gusky had another tech at the house the next day to resolve it - the solution was really simple and had to do with sediment settlement near a valve when the water main was off for repairs. It was a bit embarrassing, frankly, to have a plumber open the valve when we could have done so ourselves to clear the sediment and restore water pressure. Both plumbers were great about explaining their work and the rationale behind it while they were in our home.
