Mr. McMurray came out shortly afterward to size a replacement, and the new system was fully installed, up and running by 3 p.m. Monday. And this was no straightforward installation--it was a top-floor unit in a condo building. Throughout the entire process, Mr. McMurray went above and beyond. In addition to getting cold air back into our apartment, he patiently answered all of my questions, explained the process from start to finish, shared advice on how to better maintain our system, and worked directly with our building manager to ensure everything went smoothly. As an added bonus, replacing the old system gave us the opportunity to upgrade to a much more energy-efficient unit. We've already noticed an impressive difference: our energy usage is lower despite the heat wave, and the air in the apartment feels fresher than it ever has before. The moment the payment cleared, it felt like we no longer mattered. Messages went unanswered, conversations became cold and dismissive. 4 years later in 2026, when we called about an issue with blower he had installed, I expected at least a genuine attempt to help. Instead, he arrived with an attitude, spent very little time looking at the system, offered no meaningful diagnosis, fixed nothing, and left. We ended up hiring another HVAC company that quickly found and resolved the problem. Then came the final insult: despite providing no solution and no value, he still wanted to charge us a $75 service fee.
