Ordered and left a message to text as soon as pizza arrived at door with the "-35 minute" allotted time frame because I am deaf and can not respond to a knock or the bell... My favorite pizza place ever. Not just pizza, EVERYTHING! My son is addicted to the Meat pizza and I'm addicted to the Greek pizza and salad. They're subs are fantastic as well. Last time we ordered it was great. This time we got the garlic knots and they were burnt badly. Also got the garlic parmesan wings, they had no flavor just shredded hard cheese sprinkled over them. Half melted. I ended up using my own wing sauce. Pizza was good. They charged us for an extra marinara sauce but never gave it to us. read more

ya, great pizza. I ordered take-out after having not eaten for a full day and want hard. First impression was, "oooh, great pepperoni/sausage pizza". After demolishing 3 more slices I thought, "man this is salty pizza..." But this may just have been due to the fact that I didn't order a drink and just had water. So I didn't get the contrast of sweet/sugary stuff I usually expect to have with my pizza. And I'm not gonna dog their pizza just cause i'm trying to keep things tight. read more

Very good quality for local delivery and great customer service. We ordered 2 pizzas - a large Italian with pineapple added, and a meatball pizza from the combo menu for delivery. The large pizza came with banana peppers (or pepperoncini) in instead of pineapple. We called to let them know and they offered to replace it. After a few bites while I as in the phone with the manager, the group here said "don't worry about it, this is great and we have plenty." So the manager offered us a deal for next time. We ordered pizza here for the super bowl. We ordered online and the wait time was 45 minutes as the webpage stated. We were expecting a 2 hour wait but the fact that it was exactly what they told us it would be was nice. The pizza was good, but I would criticize the amount of cheese. It was the first time we ordered so we couldn't request anything specific without really knowing the product so I don't blame the establishment for this but next time I would probably request to easy on the cheese. The only real critic would say the left over pizza, it's pretty soggy when warmed up and it doesn't hold up very well. Overall I would probably order again for the next game when I don't feel like cooking. read more

Great service and good pizza. I had a work emergency and needed to feed 50+ people ASAP. Called Capitol and a very nice woman (sounded young) answered the phone, took my large order, and asked if I needed anything else. When I asked if it could be here within an hour she said that was her plan but she was the only one working right then. One hour later I had 10 delicious pizzas and 11 salads. Nice job!! Ordered delivery.. Pizza was incredibly soggy, couldn't even pick it up out of the box, terrible pie. Hope this isn't the product the generally come out of this place. Took a chance with the high review marks but very low number of reviews on yelp. Regretting that after spending almost $30 on this pizza. read more

Confirmation email received at 6:45. Delivery estimate was an hour 15 minutes. Call made to capitol pizza after an hour and a half inquiring as to where our order is. Employee asked what our order was and let us know that they did not have our order. However, just before I called - I double checked my bank account which had already been been charged. I was put on hold and then was told that they in fact DO have our order and that it's out for delivery. Two hours after the order was placed, the delivery person shows up with the wrong order. We called Capitol Pizza to let them know that we were not happy with our two hour delivery that was wrong and we were told that the delivery person was new. TERRIBLE customer service! I have worked in customer service my entire life. If I made a customer wait for two hours and then sent them the incorrect order, I would surely AT THE VERY LEAST either throw in an additional item or take something off the bill. Since all we got were excuses, we thought it was appropriate to write a review about our very last experience with Capital Pizza. Also - the pizza and cheesy bread was delivered cold. read more

I normally order my pizza from here, but am going to find a different spot. First they forgot my order so I had to call after waiting a hour and a half, and then wait another 45 mins until my food got here. You would think they would at least add something. No, the driver gets here and told me I was suppose to give him a cash tip (I wasn't planning on giving a tip since I had to wait so long). So he stands there keeps showing me the receipt saying "my boss told me cash tip". So then I had to give a $5 tip to make this man go away. Poor service, and the drivers will hustle you. read more

The buffalo chicken pizza was great...but it would have been better if it were hot. It took an hour and a half to get to the house, and with the tip a medium sized pizza and a can of pop was $22. The pizza tasted great, and so I would definitely do carry-out. But...I might try somewhere else next time for delivery. read more

Needed a quick pizza right before leaving town and this had great reviews in our immediate area. Good flavor and great ingredients. Sauce had a pleasant, sweet taste to it. Crust looks thick but is kind of rustic and airy. Two of us shared a 14" and had at least 1/4 left over. Friendly service and ready in 15 minutes from calling. read more
