This is the second time coming here. Service is always good and very attentive. Atmosphere is very chill quiet. onto the food I got kebabs. The chicken was super moist and not dry at all with a nice seasoning. It came with a side of hummus and tzatziki with side salad and rice. I don't know what they do to the tzatziki, but it feels so rich and pair so well with everything will definitely come again when I'm in the area give this a try if you are too.

Such a great discovery! Capo is a delightful, well-designed, tasty Mediterranean eatery that's quick-service style with all the friendly care and customer service of fine dining. Parking is a little tight at peak hours but has a private lot that it shares with the other storefronts on the strip. There is a modern all-gender bathroom that is clean and well maintained. The restaurant is clean, tastefully decorated, and enjoyable with lots of natural light and windows and both indoor and outdoor seating. I appreciate the visual menu which made it easy to pick something to order (except everything looks good which makes it harder). I ordered the beef koftedes plate (~$18) which comes with a pomegranate BBQ sauce, rice, salad with a light vinaigrette dressing, warm pita slices, yogurt dip. I also tried some of my sister's chicken kebab plate which was delicious. We also tried a plate of manti for the table ($16) and it was sooo good! Tiny bite size dumplings in a yogurt and sundried tomato sauce. Will be back again for sure...I'm curious about the seafood offerings!

Smoky babaganoush - Definitely worth ordering this side!!!!

Review had 4.8 in Google - Had to try the place. It did not disappoint! We had Spitfire Beef & Lamb (RICE) Small serving of meat but the flavor made up for it! My husband was not fond of the pink dressing - I on the other hand, I found it refreshing. Yoplait dressing with a light taste. Beef Koftedes (RICE) It wasn't dry! Seasoning was spot on! The portion was a good amount! Smoky babaganoush - Definitely worth ordering this side!!!! My husband inhaled it! And the pita bread was light and airy and fresh!!! Check this place out if you are in the area!

I would like to thank Mr Emre very much for his attention; everything was incredible. I particularly recommend the chips and salad.

Great lunch spot! There's a few bar tables and a few regular tables inside. There's also some outdoor tables. Spitfire Beef and Lamb salad was delicious and quite filling. You get a choice of 3 different dressings; I chose the pomegranate dressing. It also came with this pink dip for the lamb. I couldn't really taste the lemon pepper from the lemon pepper fries but the sauce it came with was really good. Also got the hot sauce which was also really good and had a nice kick. We were told that everything, including the sauces were made in-house. I'll definitely be coming back!

When did you guys start doing business?

Have you re-opened yet? I'm hoping to place a small catering order for an event on March 26th! I've tried calling but haven't had any luck getting in touch with someone.

Hello Mary! Yes we will be open in a week or so please give me a call at (650) 521-4868 my name is Serhat

Only gourmets know the difference between ground beef gyro and steak beef gyro. I ordered 2 times from Capo and 1 time I had a chance to get steak beef gyro, the other time I got ground beef gyro. Which beef type do they use in their gyros usually?

    We use Yaprak gyro!

We got the dip trio which was light and refreshing. Lamb and beef meatballs were ok, shrimp was very good, and grilled artichoke had a strong smoky from the grill: different, but in a good way. The portions were a bit small, so we ordered the seafood paella. The seafood paella came with a full on lobster tail on the side. I found the clams and mussels a bit on the fishy side. All in all, it was ok. Including tax and tip, over $200 for the three of us. Expensive for just "ok" food.

This was a good bread, round and splittable like a pita, served hot from the oven and sprinkled with some seeds (I think sesame, although I didn't pay close attention). 2. Meze Trio: patlican ezme (roasted eggplant, bell peppers), haydari (garlic yogurt dip with mint and dill), girit (ezine cheese with pistachios, oregano, olive oil). Loved the eggplant--tender and tasty! The yogurt dip was good, but I couldn't eat large amounts of it. The cheese was ok, a bit too heavy for us. 3. Ahtapot (grilled octopus on lime mashed potatoes and paprika butter). I didn't eat this, but the kids liked it. The octopus seemed very tender, and the potatoes were good. 4. Roka (arugula, diced cooked beets instead of tomatoes, honey mustard). Good, but the creamy dressing made it feel a little heavy after a while. 5. Mercimekli imambayildi (lentils-stuffed roasted eggplant). Imam bayildi translates as "the imam fainted" (because the dish is so delicious, maybe?). This was excellent. The eggplant had a wonderful smokey, roasted flavor. The lentils were good. There was a garlic yogurt moat around the eggplant. 6. Kunefe (shredded filo, melted cheese center, syrup, pistachios, scoop of Maras ice cream). Very good, maybe a bit too much for the three of us, maybe better if split four ways. We genuinely cannot pick a favorite because both are consistently excellent. Our regular order is the chicken gyro salad, loaded with fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled onions, hummus, tzatziki, and a generous portion of chicken gyro meat. Everything tastes fresh, the meat is flavorful with those delicious crispy edges, and the spicy sauce adds exactly the right kick. It is filling without feeling heavy and somehow always hits the spot. Both locations have been remarkably consistent with quality, portions, and flavor. There's something about being able to grab a fresh meal, sit outside alfresco, and just enjoy the California weather that makes everything taste a little better. Nick the Greek always delivered exactly what I needed--quick service, fresh ingredients, and food that felt satisfying without weighing me down. That consistency is what kept me coming back again and again. My go-to order was the gyro salad with pork belly, and to this day I still think about it. It was light but filling, bright and balanced, and never heavy. Crisp lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, feta, tzatziki, rice for substance, and warm pita on the side. I would always swap the red wine vinaigrette for the lemon herb dressing, which tied everything together perfectly. It was, quite simply, the perfect salad. Every time I ordered it, I told myself, "You really should learn how to make this at home." And every time, I didn't--because it was just easier to let Nick the Greek do it for me. What I appreciated most about this location was the reliability. You could walk in hungry, get your food quickly, and know it would taste the same as the last time--fresh, clean flavors, generous portions, and no fuss. That's harder to find than people realize. I moved away in 2023, and now that salad lives in my memory as one of those simple pleasures that made everyday life a little better. If you're in San Carlos and looking for something fresh, fast, and consistently good, this place is a solid choice. And if you find yourself sitting outside on a sunny day with a bowl and a piece of warm pita, take a moment to appreciate it--because someday you might move away and miss it more than you expect.

The outdoor seating area has a lot of potential, though it feels like the space could be used more effectively. The indoor seating was much nicer and had a better atmosphere. One highlight was the gentleman working there, who was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind throughout our visit. His hospitality made the experience more enjoyable and left a positive impression. The salmon was probably the biggest disappointment. It seemed a bit overcooked, was served slightly cold, and was missing some of the buttery richness we were expecting. The chicken and beef souvlaki were both good and enjoyable, but they weren't particularly memorable. The fish and chips, unfortunately, fell short. The fries weren't very crispy, and the fish itself lacked flavor. Overall, nothing was terrible, but most of the dishes didn't really stand out. The friendly service was appreciated and helped offset some of the shortcomings in the food. There was lettuce, cucumber, & unripe tomatoes (It's tomato season, folks, but most restaurant produce suppliers just sell for bulk, not necessarily peak/in season. That's a different, more costly supplier) inside the wrap, the char-grilled salmon just right. I'd say that even if I had eaten earlier. The salad was marinated (I think) red cabbage over lettuce, cukes, & pale tomato. The whole meal--no dessert--was really tasty and welcome.
