Fresh like it was made right then for me. The hummus alone was worth coming back for. The guy at the register was one of the warmest people I've dealt with at a restaurant in a long time. No script, no fake customer service voice. He seemed legitimately happy I walked in, and that's not something you can train into someone. It's just who he is. One more thing that stuck with me. I watched him come out of the bathroom drying his hands with a paper towel, so I could see he'd actually washed up. Sounds small, but you'd be surprised how often that's not the case at restaurants, and it's an instant dealbreaker for me when it isn't. The bathroom itself was spotless too, which tells you the whole place is run right, not just the parts customers usually see. Fresh food, real hospitality, and a clean operation.
